Remember that rhyme you learned as a kid about how secrets can hurt someone? What about when a secret can help someone?
For the past few years, I've been keeping secrets, other people's secrets, my own. Secrets I can't, and won't share. What happens when all the secrets come out?
Unfortunately this means I now have to continue with the not so great book, review to come!
Alrighty, so... This book started off honestly not that great. The prologue killed me and I initially hated our badass, wonderful, amazing FMC... Because she seemed not actually like a teen in highschool. Then we flash to college... and my heart broke for her. When we met Nolan... oh my god has Rachelle somehow found my boyfriend in the wild and made him into a dark haired character.
My problems with this book are simple... Noah and Nolan having such similar names as brothers - gag. The graphic scene on page... wasn't expecting that! Whatever that friend was that revealed Grace's trauma to Noah WITHOUT asking her if that was okay!!!
Other than that? Great quick read. Make sure you check your triggers.
Such a sweet romance story!!! Grace has been best friends with Michael and Lisa most of her life. She is kind, loyal and loving. Michael is on the football team in high school and we all know how some jocks can be absolutely jerks. Well his teammates are horrible to him so him and Grace pretend date. The bad part is they use each other as a crutch even in high school. Until Nolan, Michael’s roommate meets Grace and just knows that she’s it for it, but he won’t get in between his best friend and his girlfriend. Absolutely loved this book.
I don’t have words to describe how much I loved this book!!! Grace is a wonderful girl who would and does anything for her family and friends. Nolan is a this amazing, understanding and sweet guy that you don’t usually see in books about football. I just loved everything about this book!!! Please read it you won’t regret it trust me.

This book was amazing and you can feel the emotions of the characters jumping off the pages. Grace has been through a horrific experience that left emotional damage but still helps her friend Michael so he can be happy. Nolan is her perfect match and with his help & the support of her friends she is finally able to start living her life again.

This book was very emotional. Grace was an amazing character. The things Grace went through were heartbreaking. Grace and Nolan were a good couple. The story was a quick read but still emotional. I felt all the feelings the characters were going through.

This is an entertaining sports, fake dating romance book that hold your attention captive from beginning to end. The storyline is intriguing as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with steamy chemistry together. I enjoyed this book.

Grace & Nolan: Secrets/ friendships/ football romance: Rachelle Valentine did a great job with the storyline and characters in this book. Secrets, trauma, helping your friends, and learning to live your best life. I really enjoyed this quick read.

What a great read! Love and friendship on a deeper level. The struggle of the LGBTQIA+ community. Past secrets. Societal norms. I loved all the characters and their storylines. This book had me laughing, crying, and then crying again with happy tears. I'm not usually a person who wants/needs a HEA in a story, but I am so glad this one had that.
