Welp, I, Anna Perish, am now a vampire. And it’s been one hell of a ride so far. Not only am I shacking up with the Dracula, but I’ve also been summoned by the Queen of Vampires. And why, you might ask? Oh, it’s nothing big. She just wants to kill me for killing her sire. Unfortunately, self-defense doesn’t mean squat among the undead.
Then there's introducing Vlad to my family—which might just be more terrifying than facing the queen. Oh, and we mustn't forget my new stalker. Don't know who it is yet, but they've been leaving me lovely gifts like dead cats and rabbits. This person really knows the way to a girl's heart (and yes, that was sarcasm).

The Vampire Inquisition
Anna and Vlad are in love, but the vampire that almost murdered Anna was the Queen’s sire and she took his death badly. The Inquisitors could care less if Anna’s life was in danger when it happened, they wanted to make an example of her.
This is a spicy Romantasy with lots of action and great characters. Solid four and a half stars rounded up to five.

It was good. Some parts were drawn out for my liking but overall cute little story. Cute ending for sure, even though it was the worst time to ask that question, lol. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book

I truly dislike cliffhangers, plus Anna is TSTL....truly. I feel so bad for Vlad.

This next installment in the "Dating Monsters" series was a nice continuation to the story, but it was not as engaging as the first book. I think this book definitely suffered from second book syndrome as it seemed like its whole purpose was to prepare readers for the conclusion in book 3.
In this installment, Anna has to deal with drama from her family over her new state of existence, which seems a little petty compared to everything else she is dealing with, and the threat of the vampire queen who wants revenge against Anna .
The pacing of this book as okay but I honestly don't feel like a whole lot actually happened in this sequel.
I am interested in the revelations that were made about Lucy in this book, and I am intrigued to hear her story in the future. Although he hasn't gotten a lot of page time, I am a sucker for Sam. I would love to read his and Lucy's story.
In essence, this 2nd book was enjoyable enough for me to read through to the end, but not necessarily memorable. The story does end on a cliffhanger that will make you want to quickly continue on to book 3.

Fantastic edition to the series! 4.5 Stars!
We are back in New Orleans with Vlad and Anna And the mess keeps getting worse LOL. This book definitely had me on my toes. With the last book I could kind of see what would happen next. This one kept me guessing, even when I could see where things were going I was caught off guard. The humor and sarcasm were here in abundance, this really is a funny little group. I liked that we got to know more about Camilla and that we got to see some conflict resolution between Vlad and Anna. I will say that's the bickering between Anna and Lucy was starting to get annoying, especially since it kept occurring in the first quarter of the but thankfully it ended before it truly turned me off. I also wish we had more interaction between Lucy and Sam but I guess that will happen in book 3. All in all, a great follow up to a series that keeps getting better. We got an great fight scene with Vlad and seeing a bit of his darker side in this book was lovely. He's always such a gentleman so him losing his temper? Whew! We also got a bit more in the spice department. I highly recommend this series 4.5.Stars!

Thoroughly entertaining from beginning to end.
What's fantastic read kept me reading just to see what happened next. Humorous and riveting, you ask yourself have I had days like that?? Maybe not quite that bad but maybe on par!! I'd recommend it as a delightful, upbeat read that keeps you amused and intrigued. Have to say my favourite character has to be Camilla, she's a fierce and feisty character who brings out the best and worst in people, lol.

still Good on this 2nd installment’
Ok, so, this book is a good one also. Vlad & Anna confess their love for each other ( finally!). She’s getting comfortable in her vampire skin. It enlightens is on own back story. It’s a wonder she’s as “normal” as she is. But she’d be the 1st one to tell you, that “normal” is over rated. I love her wicked sense of humor. And how she loosens Vlad too. Love this writer & her off beat humor.

I enjoyed the first book and was excited to read the second book, but unfortunately it wasn’t as intriguing as the first one. It read like a filler to set up book 3. Anna’s bad decisions in the first book could have been alluded to naivety and being a new vampire, but I expected her to have had some character development in this second book. Unfortunately, Anna is even more reckless and annoying as ever which I didn’t like and was disappointed by.

Absolutely AWESOME 😁
I started to read this story a couple of years ago and got lost being sick and reading other stuff 😒. But I truly enjoyed reading this again and getting back into the story 😉. Poor Anna and Vald have certainly gotten into a tough situation 🤔. Thanks again Kinsley, I'm really excited to read this whole series now 🤓.

Although this ends on a cliff-hanger, I did not deduct any stars. It's the middle book in a 3-volume set that is compete, so it's not as annoying as it might be otherwise.
I'm not usually a fan of the 'hot mess' heroine, but Anna is unusually endearing. And, who can resist Dracula?

So good I couldn't put it down!!!
Really liking this series!!! This book was so good I couldn't put it down!!!! The MFC is so funny at times and is really growing on me! She absolutely takes no sh!@ and doesn't even realize what a bada** she is!!! An can I say the MMC (Vlad) swoon!!!

If you have read the first book, then you need to read this one too, Anna hasn't had it easy since she became a Vampire but with Vlads help she's learning, but things are going to catch up with her in this book when she goes home!

This book actually had some decent drama/suspense and ends with a pickle I am genuinely not sure how they will get out of. Not too bad. And the fmc is only like… 40% annoying. That’s less than half!

The second book in the Dating Monsters series a well written paranormal romantic story that kept me turning pages, it does end on a cliff-hanger. I want to read the next book of Vlad and Anna's story. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The adventure continues! These are really one long story and I'm looking forward to the resolution in the third book.
