1) I’m a newly turned werewolf who’s allergic to dogs. Fun fact: that includes wolves, even mine. 2) I’m the only werewolf in history who wasn’t born one.
As the best friend of a nosy vlogger-turned-vampire, I’m used to trouble. It’s practically my middle name. But nothing could prepare me for what I found when I returned to New Orleans.
Someone is attacking innocent humans, trying to turn them into werewolves, and my alpha wants me to put a stop to it all before humans learn of our existence. Except, I can't do it alone. I need my mate's help. Unfortunately, our relationship is completely on the fritz. So, not only do I need to end these attacks, but I also need to woo my Wolfman back, because I'm done fighting fate.
Sigh. I’m going to need a purse full of allergy pills and a couple drinks to get through this…
*** Fans of the Wolfman will love this new modern and chic take on the beastly legend himself.
Kinsley Adams likes long walks on the beach, all things chocolate, and sweet little puppies that... wait. Wrong about me, sorry.
*ahem*
Kinsley Adams is a thirty-something-year-old author who stopped counting when she turned twenty-five. When she isn’t writing uproariously hilarious romantic comedies, she’s raising her womb-gremlin with the hopes that he might one day become the world’s first Supreme Leader.
Remember Anna and Vlad the vampires? This is Anna’s best friend Lucy’s story.
Lucy had been human born and was turned into a werewolf. That probably happened when she was bitten because Lucy’s biological father was the Alpha of the Mississippi pack. She went to him for training, which was inadequate at best, so she left for Anna’s wedding and to find Sam, her mate.
Sam’s father was Alpha of the New Orleans pack and welcomed Lucy’s help when one of their human born was attacked.
Wooing the Wolfman is a Romantasy, but also filled with action and suspense. This first book in the trilogy was a good one, and Ms. Adams writes a great story. There is minimal, almost incidental spice, but is mostly a great tale. Four and a half stars rounded up to five.

I've decided to stop buying romance novels until I've read more of the ones on my e-reader (there are soooo many). Wooing the Wolfman is the first novel I've read since I decided to undertake this challenge.
I did not know this was part of a series until I started reading it, but Kinsley Adams fills us in enough that it's pretty easy to figure out what happened in the first three books, which was helpful. Lucy and Sam's romance is more of a slow burn, which is nice because I'm in the mood for that right now. I also liked that Lucy and Sam are clearly equal partners. There's no power imbalance between them. Lucy and Sam's quest to discover who is behind the werewolf attacks was compelling. I finished this book in only two sittings.
I do think I would have liked this better had I read the first three books before this one. I felt like a lot of character building was missing, but that's more on me than the author since this book is clearly listed as part of a series. I am interested enough in the plot to go back and read the first three books, so I might readjust my rating after I go back and read the first part of the series.
"Wooing the Wolfman" was a fun read! I will admit that I won this book as part of a giveaway, so I had no clue that it was "technically" a sequel book in a series. However, I was able to read it with no confusion as a stand-alone piece. It would have been nice to read the other books in the series that came before this book, to help shed light on some references mentioned throughout the book. Even so, it was a fun read! I loved how down to earth the main character Lucy was, and her perspective made the book super interesting! The romance was organic, and grew naturally, nothing felt rushed or superficial. And the spicy scenes were perfectly spicy. All in all, this is totally a must read for those who adore paranormal romance stories, and who love paranormal themes in general. I rated this book 4 out of 5 stars because I wished I knew about the other books in the series before I started reading this book to build a even deeper appreciation of all the characters, but even so I still enjoyed this book very much!
definitely steamy as occasion offers, but so much more: sisterhood connections with her bestie Anna, now a recently wed vampire; difficult family connections with her biological folks and the stepdad who was the father who raised her, and a mom who really did not help her werewolf transition
then again, sperm donor Reggie did not mentor her growth as a werewolf- total alphahole, and very unlike Adrien, pack alpha father to Sam
Sam and Lucy fight hard to survive, and harder to work pas their baggage as mates, with her limited understanding of what that might mean
Horrific assaults on the human born explore intriguing dynamics of pack and prejudices- and these might well have long term repercussions for other packs
unique combinations of grit, grief, humor, love and madness that is compelling to read and very insightful . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lucy has returned for Anna's and Vlad's wedding. She has also come back to woo her werewolf mate, Sam. In the interim, someone is attacking human born werewolves...just like what happened to Luce! Coincidence? She does not think so! After 3 attacks, leaving one in death, they set out to find the rogue. There will be many surprises along the way...but the ending will leave your mouth hanging open! Find out what happens between Lucy and Sam. Discover who the rogue is...and be sure to order the next book...this ending will leave you wanting more!
I had so many emotions thru this book. Good book and sweet story. Great plot. I cried when Izzy died. I just know what they were feeling. But Corbin is pissing me off, and he needs to go lol. I'm glad that Sam and Lucy are together, and Lucy finally accepted the mating bond. Can't believe Lucy is an alpha now. So, hopefully, she does great doing that. Can't wait to start the next book to see what happens

This is about Lucy and Sam....finally. ;) She comes back for Vlad and Anna's wedding and to admit she's Sam's mate. However, little do they know what is going to happen from the very beginning. This book has an ending but also a cliffhanger. I can't wait for the next one.. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
From first page to last it's intense action and Lucy has finally come back to confront all the things she's ran away from 😯. Needless to say Lucy still Loves Sam, but what she knows of werewolves keeps her scared 😱. Thanks again Kinsley, I truly Loved this book and look forward to reading more 🤓.
Couldn't put it down loved the characters and the storyline and can't wait to read more in this series so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend it to everyone

Lucy and Sam's story is finally here!!!!!!!!! I sort of made myself an idea of what to expect but this was twisty and a lot was going on that I didn't think of. This one ends in a cliff.. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a great addition to the Dating Monsters series and a story that I have been looking forward to. The well written character work and story line made this book a quick, fun read.

Finally time for Lucy and Sam's story. Lucy comes back for Anna's wedding and finally admits Sam is her mate. What does this mean for them. Go read and find out, I am not going to spoil it for you!!
I really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next book to see what happens next.
An amusing read with colorful characters that are well-enough fleshed out even if you haven't read the first couple books in the series (as I haven't). Simple language makes for a quick, light read that is perfect to pick up and put down as you have time. Good summer read for the beach.
4 ⭐️ I finished this book and immediately bought the next two. I love getting to see a deeper look into Lucy and Sam’s relationship and finding their way back to each other. Also Corbin can go suck a toe
Very exciting! I thought it was going to be harder to woo Sam but he seems to be okay. Now with the murderous raging werewolf turning people into werewolves is scary and exciting but also horrifying and sad. I hope Lucy and Sam catch this guy. So exciting! Can't wait for more.
