This *why choose* criminal romance hooked me from the start! The suspense, steam, and twists kept me turning pages, though I do wish there was more character development and deeper backstories. The mystery behind the heroine's sister's disappearance and the secrets that unfold kept me on edge. And that ending?! I need the next book ASAP!

This was my first read by this author, and I’m definitely coming back for more. If you like romance, suspense, betrayal, and hot mafia/cop dynamics, this book has it all. Can’t wait for the next one!

I was intrigued by it being a why choose criminal romance, and I was not disappointed. I do wish there was more character development, it almost seemed a bit rushed. Parts of the character backgrounds i wish had more info given, as bits and pieces were confusing. But all in all, i enjoyed it, was glad it wasn't souly spice, but the mystery behind why her sister "disappeared", and ALL the secrets that come to light. THAT ENDING THO!!! 🥴🫣 I need the next ASAP 😂.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it won’t be my last. I’m intrigued by this storyline. I need to know more. I liked the story and the characters. I would love to have more background about the characters but it’s still enjoyable. The steam and suspense were there. It’s good!.
