Ravenden #4
Sparks Flying
As the youngest of the Davenport children, Dean has an easy life. Some would call him spoiled,
but he prefers blessed. His brothers and sister left big shoes to fill, but he feels no pressure to live
up to their standards. And as the baby of the family, he can get away it, even with their overly
opinionated mother.
There's little he can do to disappoint her, or so he thinks. But he’s about to find just how wrong
he is.
His siblings are all trying to repair the damage of generations of raven societal hierarchy within
Ravenden. His brother Ryan uses his power as mayor to give all of the Flocks a chance of
equality. They all thought nothing was lower than mating a Grimes, but his brother Elias had
already done that. Or mating an outsider, which his sister Gia had lead the way on. But
apparently there's something even lower on the society ladder—his true mate.
Taking her for a mate will test the bonds of blood and cause division within his family and
throughout Ravenden. So the big question Is true love worth everything?

**********Contains Spoilers**********
I really enjoyed this book and thought that It was another great addition to the Ravenden Series, as well as the Westin World that Julie Trettel has created. This book is about Dean and Bailey. Dean, Gia, Elias and Ryan’s youngest brother and head of Ravenden’s security. He likes to have fun, doesn’t get serious with anyone and has rules that can’t be broken so that doesn’t happen or give anyone false hope. He’s completely upfront with them though which is great. Bailey, a wolf shifter from the Westin Pack, interning for Westin Force and is Oscar Westin’s best friend. Bailey is the youngest of the interns and is excited but completely shocked when she’s one of the chosen four interns to accompany Patrick on a mission to Ravenden to help protect their allies since the dingos have been targeted and why wouldn’t the Collectors target Ravenden with more force.
The last thing both they both expect is to find their mate. Dean comes across as an a*sehole because he doesn’t understand why Bailey is affecting him so much, and Bailey doesn’t know that Raven’s don’t recognise their mates until they both see each other in their shifted form so she doesn’t understand why he’s not reacting. I really liked how their relationship progressed and thought that they make an amazing team. Their chemistry was off the charts, as well as hot as hell. I hope that this isn’t the last that we’ve seen from Ravenden but only time will tell. I’ve already pre-ordered the final Westin Force Delta Series book, The Last Ultimatum Part and I’m looking forward to reading it when it’s released next month. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, all the Westin World books and author to everyone.

Bailey’s excited about her Westin Force internship and just as excited to go to college next semester. Her day got better when she was chosen for a mission to shore up Ravenden’s defenses since the Collectors are rumored to be headed that way. Bailey’s excitement rises at meeting her true mate but wanes when Ravenden’s security head, womanizing Dean Davenport fails to react to her at all. When Dean figures out what’s going on he gets knocked out.

Bailey and Dean Heartwarming characters
Another one down and read in one day. Open it and you won't want to stop. This can be read alone but it is more fun knowing all the characters ahead of time so you understand who is who. Always great fun, action and love that only true mates can bring by this amazing author.

Fun ending to this mini series!
It's always fun to get a little peek at what's happening over at Westin Pack. And Oscar was in this! I hope that means his book is coming!
