Logic’s Dictate by author Steve Gibson is an interesting intergalactic space opera that draws on elements of modern life and transforms them into far future possibilities. Rather than succumb to increasing wars and climate breakdown, the earth has managed a surprisingly peaceful political transition to uniting the two Koreas, bringing stable democracy to Russia and NATO has dissolved due to the apparent peace and harmony on earth. China, alone, is still seen as a threat. Thanks to the earth’s transformation, it receives an invite to join the peaceful galactic continuum of the word Mex. Whether this monumental step will actually materialize, however, depends on two individuals – presidential candidate Andy Brock and the head of the Merkian delegation, Rein. Both political incidents and their own feelings may just bring this illustrious enterprise to a grinding halt….

Amazing book
Wooow, this book left me too surprised and, at the same time, wanting to continue with the story. I honestly felt a slight sadness when I finished reading it.
From the first page, the book hooks you with the stories and an exciting science fiction narrative set in the near future of humanity.
The author makes you feel like you are living a real story, describing places, situations and people we all know today.
The story is about a presidential candidate who promises unity and progress in a world where important advances have already been made such as the unification of the Koreas, a peaceful Russia and many more achievements, however the threat that remains latent in this case is China, who intends to take Taiwan and therefore an imminent conflict with the United States.
What I liked most about the book is that it talks about assassinations, political opposition, war and the fate of the earth. I highly recommend it, I am sure you will love this book as much as I did.

Things to learn
In my opinion, after reading this book, I believe it leaves us with important lessons, just to mention a few, we could say that, in order to progress and evolve as a society, we must learn to work together for the common good and set aside our differences, to achieve this, we need to overcome personal interests and power struggles.
We must also remember that every decision we make, whether personal or on a global scale, should be guided by wisdom and responsibility, only in this way, we can face the challenges of the future.
Additionally, the book reminds us that maturity and the ability to transform ourselves are crucial to building a more peaceful and united world one that is ready to embrace new opportunities, while still remembering the important lessons we have learned.

Steve Gibson wrote an entertaining fiction novel that makes you imagine and think about humanity’s potential to integrate into a galactic civilization. It is really entertaining how this book makes an analysis of the political landscape and decisions to adapt to an intergalactic scenario, and in this fictional context to the advanced Merk Civilization. Following this story on one side, you will think about politics, and how this presidential candidate, Andy Brock, could determine humanity’s fate and change.
The storytelling that this book has hooked me from the beginning to the end, experiencing intrigue, romance, and a lot of imagination based on all the creativity and science fiction this book has and thinking about how we as humans can as a society lookout for growth and transformation.

Favorite book
This book has become my favorite science fiction book in the world. It explores a futuristic world moving towards global unity and a historical transformation, it also shows us a possible galactic integration led by another civilization. However, it is full of threats and situations that can trigger a war.
The plot is full of political challenges, assassinations and international tensions that at some point, one as a reader begins to think that this could very possibly happen to us in our world today.
From the beginning the book left me hooked and I will not lie to you that I could not stop reading it until I finished it, which I did in exactly 1 week. What a fascinating and interesting story!
I highly recommend this book, it is full of action and a lot of emotion. Don't miss this book please.

I really liked this book
I really liked this book; it really has an incredible story that is based on the importance of how the Earth should be part of the interplanetary community. It is a fictional novel that takes place in the not-too-distant future. The book presents very interesting political changes such as the dissolution of NATO, among others. I really liked the development of the characters since they are interesting and very well developed. I really liked this book, how we live the constant tension of the events that we are going to live through the pages. I really recommend this book to all those who want to spend a pleasant time with a book that will keep us hooked.

This story is particularly interesting for one main reason; it takes elements and true facts of the current world and transforms them into a possible future. This makes the plot addictive and highly entertaining.
Characters were nicely developed with strong personalities; they introduce the reader to an unprecedented adventure in an unknown galaxy and invite him to feel part of the mission.
The tension generated in the development of the story made my hair stand on end and I wanted to know quickly how the conflict would be resolved. It’s a title that I highly recommend because of the captivating narrative, not to mention that the book itself is an invitation to think about current policies and to reflect on their role.
I look forward to read more of Steve Gibson’s work.

Five stars for this book!
I would definitely give this book five stars. I think Gibson did a great job combining science fiction with a political touch, because it grabs the reader attention since the very beginning of the book. I couldn’t stop reading it when I first started.
The characters (specially Brock and Rein), the relationships between them and the different situations they went through are very well developed and described through all the book, making the story interesting and with some unexpected plot twists.
I would recommend this book for those readers who are looking for a book full of action, science fiction and a bit of political stuff. It would absolutely be over your expectations.

It is a very good book that grabs you from beginning to end, you don't want to stop reading until you find out what is going to happen to Andy Brock, a presidential candidate with visionary policies.
Beyond the plot, which is quite interesting, what caught my attention the most about LOGIC'S DICTATE is the way in which Steve Gibson, the author, unites two worlds, the earth and the galaxy, through a series of intrigues, powers, and romances, that keep the reader attentive in the development of the book.
The language used is descriptive, making it easy to understand. It is not a monotonous read at all, on the contrary, it is very enjoyable.

It is a book that combines many themes, from politics, intrigue, passion and internal dualities. It makes us really think a lot about the future of earth and humanity. Will we ever be ready for world or interplanetary peace?
While it is a futuristic story, it makes us think a lot about how we might be perceived from other worlds, being a civilization so accustomed to war. The book is excellent, I loved the narrative, the way each character's character is handled and their reflections on the circumstances they live in.

Space science fiction can fall into tropes that can make them start to feel similar. This was a fresh concept that I really enjoyed.
Though it is a little slow to start, you seem to get a sense the author is using it to punctuate the spread, span and/or scope of time.
Excellent writing, awesome story, good characters. Emotional and rational while being extremely entertaining.

A captivating work.
An awesome read, this book was a thrilling work of science fiction fantasy with a realistic chain of events. I am not into sci-fi or fantastical stories but this had a political twist that served as the realism that I am accustomed to. A great read!
