To save the shelter, Sergey travels to an unknown planet that has suffered the same fate as Earth. But things don't exactly go according to plan... and the situation on Earth has gone from bad to worse!
I received a review version of this book. Found this one to be an excellent contimuation of the story, other than the continuing use of completely wrong numbers for acres VS. square miles. It's a good story that's building on itself, and improving with every book added to the series. Looking forward to the next one.
I love the concept but the story is once again all over the place.
Sergey is very unpleasant at times. His misogyny and bizarre humour are getting too much for me at times.
I felt irritated how much of the book was wasted by talking about clothes and prostitutes not too mention the annoying girl talk. The author's apparent fetish about rulers surrounded by naked girls is getting old by now.
I am sick about the made up slang like prolly, reall, gats etc..
Some more comments: When trying to establish first contact with an unknown race it is not the best idea to shoot at unidentified creatures!
The ruler of the attacking space shard was really unfit for his role and would have replaced long ago.
I have mixed feelings about the killing of the space chimaera. Sergey did not even ask about the benefits it brought.
