Michael Evan Gold has revised his explanation of the protection to which workers are entitled under the National Labor Relations Act. He includes discussion of such fundamental topics as organizing and elections, the duty to bargain, economic weapons available to workers, and enforcement of labor contracts.
Interesting read, that at times was kind of dry. Anyone interested in learning about labor law, and union organizing should probably pick up a copy of the book.
This book is a concise summary of labor law. This was a great book for union officers to read, especially young officers. It will help them understand how much of the world they can try to change. Union members should also read this book so that expectations can be realistically set. It is a quick read and will have a place on my go shelf.
