Cassie discovers that life outside the FBI is just as dangerous. Connor is involved in a web of conspiracies with a personal tie to Cassie she didn’t know existed.
Can Cassie remain the brightest young mind in the FBI? Or will breaking the rules cost her job--and her life?
Laura Teagan has always had a passion for story telling. From an early age, it was verbal story telling, singing, and acting. It wasn’t until junior high that her love of books and story telling came together and she began working on her first book.
After a career in the traditional publishing world, Laura decided to launch her own writing career by self-publishing her first novel, The Assassin.
She’s currently finishing college, and she’ll graduate with a degree in public relations and advertising, plus a minor in creative writing, a degree package perfect for self-publishing.
The Assassin is the first book in The Cassie Morgan Series, and Laura is currently working on the sequel, Double Played, which will be out in early 2016.
When she isn’t working on one of her books, Laura runs the popular writing blog, Ginger & Books, and she’s recently launched the writing community, The Social Writer.
