Arrow is in a hell of his own making, drowning in guilt. Five years is a long time to beat yourself down, content with the prison he built around himself...who would have thought all it takes is Ana, a 'lil perky blonde to get him to see things clearly and live again. Even if the living is a different brand of hell, a dangerous temptation he has no right wanting or needing.UnLucky for him, she has made it his mission to smile and get him to break free of his all to serious glare.
With Ana being the little sister of one of Arrow's brothers, it should make her off limits, it should make him turn his head and keep his though pure... making his one last effort to rid himself of his feelings for her, he realizes that Ana is it for him. Sassy, stubborn, sexy and most importantly a real woman who can handle everything about the life they choose to live; the good, the bad and the ugly.
But when their pasts collide, is what they have, as new as it is, strong enough to make it through ... Only time will tell.
Arrow's Hell was just that his hell that he shares with us, but for every sinner there is a saint and that is what Ana is to him. She isn't prefect, but she sees him for the man that he is, all without judgment. Arrow is a easy man to love, tortured soul and all, haunted by guilt for a past love her couldn't save. But for Ana he feels a deeper love, his perfect match, because she constantly challenges him in a good way, bringing him out from behind his walls. Ana was a girl I respected and eventually adapted to almost everything that was thrown her way. The writing was divided for me, while I felt Arrow was a real person when he spoke, the rest of the story felt like it was told to me, hard to explain but that is how I felt. Regardless it was a good read, and recommended for those who love them bikers and a tortured soul.

Anna just moved back home, to be closer to her brother - her very overprotective brother. He's a member of the Dragon's Motorcycle Club now and different than she remembers. Trying to get to know him again, and appease his protectiveness, she spends a lot of time around the club, and around Arrow. Arrow is a changed man after spending years in prison. Not thinking he's worthy of her, he tries his damnedest to stay away from Anna. Some attraction can just not be fought, though.
After reading Dragon's Lair I couldn't wait to get Arrow's story. I was so excited to find out what happened with him after the end of Dex's book but I did not expect to love this book as much as I did! This was a great story that had me ignoring reality just so I could finish it.
Arrow was a really intense character that you can't help but feel for. And he is totally swoon worthy! I loved him and Anna together as a couple and how Anna didn't back down from him. She went after what she wanted and was a strong heroine. Being thrown into an unknown situation didn't stop her from going after what she wanted and I loved that about her.
Overall, I really really liked this book and all the twists there were along with the romance. There was one thing that I did not see coming and it completely shocked the crap out of me. I can't wait to see more from this series, Trackers story is next and I am EXCITED!

I really enjoyed this read. I was in the mood for some biker shenanigans, so the ARC came as a nice surprise and catching up with the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club was way over due anyway.
I read Dragon's Lair, the first instalment in the Wind Dragons MC series over a year ago, but fortunately I had a little re-read not too long ago. That helped a lot to make out all the players, and also to remember what happened to Arrow. His story was a major part in Dragon's Lair and made me curious to read his story in the first place. But I'm not sure if waiting a year to publish the next book is the best idea to keep people interested.
Killian 'Arrow' Arrowsmith is part of the Wind Dragons MC and has spent the last few years in prison for killing the president of a rival club, after said club killed Mary, his girlfriend.
The prologue is told from Arrow's POV and gives a little recap on what happened and at what stage he is in his life. To be honest, that first chapter was a complete win. I really liked his voice, the hurt and anger still within him and I was hoping the whole book would be like that, but alas no such luck.
Let's meet the heroine...
Anna is the younger sister of Rake, who is also a member of the MC. She is twenty-five years old and just recently moved back into town to start her PhD in biological science specializing in zoology. Real old lady material, if you catch my drift. It's actually freaking hilarious how all the bad boy bikers score themselves lawyers, PhD students and just generally well educated ladies.
Anna took a little time to get used to. The whole book is written from her POV, except for the first and last chapter. Being in her head is a matter of taste, I guess. As her brother put it very eloquently..."strong-willed, opinionated, and a general pain in my ass, but what sister isn't?"
The moment Anna lays eyes on Arrow she knows he is the one. He feels the same, but has way too much baggage to even contemplate a relationship or hook-up for that matter and on top of that a very protective brother's little sister is OFF LIMITS anyway.
Over the course of the book I really started to like Anna, she came off as a bit whiny in the beginning, crying over her brother's constant oversight, but got a lot stronger and more decisive towards the end. Arrow is a complicated character with a lot of guilt and unresolved problems in his past, and I really felt for him.
I liked the two together, but if I am honest the chase was a lot better than the actual coming together part.
What really sold me on this book was the twist at the end. Bloody brilliant. Didn't see it coming, not in a million years. 'It' was a great way to create drama, but without making it feel like inserting conflict for conflict's sake. Felt very organic and plausible and sure bumped my rating up a notch.
I also really enjoyed the side character and the world building Ms. Fernando did here. She laid out some solid ground work for future instalments in the series and I'm really looking forward to get more.
All in all, a good biker read with a few issues here and there, but never the less entertaining and fun.

I read and really enjoyed 'Dragon's Lair' back in May 2014 and I was looking forward to this coming out but I never got round to reading it until now and it may sound stupid but that's partly due to the cover, I just didn't think it worked, not the body that's fine it's the face it just wasn't how I pictured Arrow and so I kept pushing back reading.
I'd loved Arrow in 'Dragon's' especially his relationship with Faye and I knew after the events in that book this would be a more difficult read.
It started well and there's a lot here to like but I struggled, Arrow has been through so much and I understand his grief the self blame is a little harder because was he the only reason she was with the MC?
Anyway he's human but at times he came across as weak particularly with Janet, I hated Janet and the way he let himself get manipulated.
He made mistakes (I know who doesn't) but he made a couple of bad ones and I just felt there was too much push and pull, hot and cold for me to settle in and enjoy this.
I liked that Anna had a mouth on her and like Faye before her she wasn't afraid to speak her mind but she was so gone over Arrow she would have accepted anything.
Did he cheat on her?
That's the big question, he says no. It wasn't cheating because they weren't together and he was trying to get her off his mind by having sex with someone else.
And technically he's right but they were both attracted to each other and we know even before we start reading that they're going to end up together so it was harder for me to forgive him.
I'm not saying this isn't a good book it's just that I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd expected and it's my review so I have to go with how I feel.

I read Dragon's Lair about a year ago. I hope Chantal will be able to publish the next book much faster. I don't remember much from Book 1 already beside of the laugh out loud humor. In Arrow's Hell, the humor had been toned down a lot.
When I read the prologue, which is in Arrow's POV, I was thinking 'we have a winner here!'. Arrow had been guilt ridden on what happened to his girl, Mary in the previous book. It had been 5 years and he never able to move on. Poor guy was celibate, mind you. Until the day, his Wind Dragon MC brother, Rake brought his younger sister, Anna into their life, Arrow finally felt desire for the first time since Mary.
Is such a shame that Arrow only got his POV in prologue and epilogue, the rest of the story was solely from Anna's POV. She was back in town for her post-doctorate program and being the sister of a MC brother, she had a legion of scary men watching out for her, much to her annoyance.
Anna was portrayed as smart, brave and beautiful. Both she and Arrow had shared a special kind of attraction towards each other from their first meeting. However, Arrow still very much moping around with his tattered heart and Anna couldn't help but want to make this sad man smile for once.
I know I'm suppose to fall for their slightly forbidden romance because Arrow is not suppose to have feelings for Rake's little sister. While Anna was experiencing the whole unrequited love because she thought Arrow is still mourning for Mary.
But I don't feel much emotion towards their romance. To me, all their interaction consist of Arrow being grumpy and cold towards Anna, while she tried to engage with some one sided conversation with him. Then all of a sudden, they both got serious and Arrow had to 'talk it out' with Rake. I just don't get how they get from hardly knowing each other to all those serious stuff. The flow just doesn't feel right to me and there is a lack of actual getting to know each other part.
It had been mentioned several times (not once) that Anna is a smart, brave and beautiful, but beside of us knowing she got PhD in science, I don't see she portrayed her smartness in real life. She spent the whole book mooning after Arrow, pissed off at her protective brother, pissed of at Arrow when he act like a caveman, jealous of Faye, jealous at Jill,... I mean is okay to be jealous, but I don't see any of her positive attribute that had been stated. I don't hate Anna, I just don't feel much for her.
As for Arrow, there is so much potential for his character, as per what I had mentioned about his prologue. But he was such a letdown for me as the story progress. First, I felt like I don't know much about him when the story ended. Secondly, the way he was celibate should be a big deal, but by the way he broke his celibacy, I rather he be a manwhore instead. Thirdly, beside of being all protective and one little gift, I don't see any romantic gesture from Arrow.
I had to say by the time the little twist came in by the last quarter in regards to their rival gang, I already lost interest in Arrow and Anna's relationship.

Arrow is a tortured soul who pushes everyone who comes too close to his heart ( except his brothers ) ; when Anna arrives his world is turned upside down as he fights the attraction he feels towards her and the right thing to do for both of them .
Soon he realises he can no longer fight that impulse and gives in to the only woman capable of loving him and showing him that things are worth fighting for.
Anna is a caring genuine beautiful inside out person ( her and Lana share these similarities making them stand out from other girls ) but who as a fiery temper to herself that tends to kick in when she is around Arrow . Together their chemistry is hot yet complicated , alternating between hot and cold .
Love it so much . !!

RATING: 2.5-3 Hearts! :)
Arrow's Hell is yet another decent enough addition to the Wind Dragon's MC series. The plot is enjoyable with an unexpected twist at the end, and individually the two main characters, Anna and Arrow, garner much like.
However, the drawback to this is with Anna and Arrow as a couple. I couldn't connect with them or understand their "love", rather finding their coming together more underwhelming, and instead, the chase far more exciting. Add to that some unnecessary, OTT drama between the two, and dislike for the two of them together only further cemented itself with me.
Overall, though not without some issues, this is still an enjoyable read with a fun cast of secondary characters and some hot smexin.
I haven't heard stellar things about Tracker's book next, so I don't have high expectations but we shall see how that turns out for me.

I have to admit that Dragon's Lair did not impress me much. However, I found Arrow's Hell a much better read than the first book.
Rake is a member of the Wind Dragons MC Club and Anna is his younger sister. She is a college student and she is under the protection of the Wind Dragons family. She is smart, strong and very beautiful. Arrow is instantly attracted to her but he still deals with the guilt of Mary's death. Anna awakens his feelings and his desires, and manages to break out of his shell of negativity, aloofness and guilt. These two couldn't be more perfect for each other.
Loved this MC book!I loved Arrow and I really liked how the author had a good balance of super hot, badass biker and sweet biker. This second book wasn't as light as the first one. This time the ride was faster and grittier. I liked Arrow's POV in the story, even though it was very short. The plot development was "richer" and darker. This MC read isn't a hardcore romance but it's definitely darker and more edgy than the first book. And, I'm so happy for these changes!
I truly enjoyed the flirting between the two main characters and I really can't wait for Tracker's story.

Anna awakens his feelings and his desires, and manages to break out of his shell of negativity, aloofness and guilt. These two couldn't be more perfect for each other.
Loved this MC book!I loved Arrow and I really liked how the author had a good balance of super hot, badass biker and sweet biker. This second book wasn't as light as the first one. This time the ride was faster and grittier. I liked Arrow's POV in the story, even though it was very short. The plot development was "richer" and darker. This MC read isn't a hardcore romance but it's definitely darker and more edgy than the first book. And, I'm so happy for these changes!
I truly enjoyed the flirting between the two main characters and I really can't wait for Tracker's story.

3 Just Liked It Stars!
Once again this is not your typical gritty MC book. The MC life is more in the back ground of this series.
Arrow is drowning in guilt. Because of him being in The Wind Dragons MC the woman he loved was killed. He got his revenge and also went to prison. He tells himself that he will never love another woman again. He will not be responsible for another death. He spends his time getting drunk and hanging out at the strip club. That is until Anna one of his brothers baby sister comes back to town.
Anna is in college. She has been on her own for a while. So when she moves closer to her brother and his MC she's not used to all the over baring males coming around. If her brother isn't there to pick her up he sends someone else. It seems Arrow always draws the short stick to be there waiting for her. Or is it? lol
I loved how Anna was a firecracker and put up a fight every-time they tried to lock her down. She wanted Arrow and never backed down from trying to get under his skin. The relationship was a slow build.
Why not a 5 Star?
I felt bad for Arrow losing Mary the woman he loved. I honestly didn't like that it was mentioned so much. I also didn't care for the drama at the end between Arrow and Anna. It just didn't sit well with me.
Over all I didn't love this one like I did the first one.
Can't wait for Trackers story next. I'm excited because we got a lot of him in this book. He became one of Anna's good friends. He also has a piercing. lol

Arrow and Anna. The audio readers, Eva Christensen and Sebastian York, are great.. but the story.. not so much. My big beef was I didn't find it romantic. Arrow was too much of a self absorbed 'whoa is me' fool. The author keeps telling us he's a badass but I saw little evidence of it. Anna is Rake's little sister and has switched to the local college to complete her PHD in animal something or other, (yet somehow never has to do much work.) This is how she first comes in contact with Arrow. Fresh outta prison for murdering the head of another MC in retribution for the murder of his 'girlfriend?''favourite booty call?'... not sure what Mary was. Mary the angel, The kindergarten teacher, the girl everyone liked and could do no wrong, hurt no fly yadda yadda yadda (excuse me while I puke). Arrow doesn't forgive himself for not treating her better while she still lived and blames himself for her death, even though it wasn't his fault, at all. SOooo he's wallowing in self pity more often than not. Then right from their first meeting Anna reawakens his lust and occasionally makes him smile. But don't bother letting your heart go all pitter patter. . And don't get me started on Mary's manipulative sister!
Ana, unlike Arrow, is not a doormat. I loved her character, as she took no guff from anyone, even when she was scared outta her mind. The heroine in this book felt almost like a carbon copy of the heroine in the first book ( both being portrayed as "clever" Kickass heroines, who are students, who become little sisters to the MC guys, being a bit mouthy etc) so some Arrow POV may have lessened this to an extent.
All in it never really got too deep, lots of going back and forth, "I want you but cannot have you" etc.
However, I did enjoy it but would have enjoyed it more if we had really got into the mind of Arrow, as opposed to the story being carried by a heroine who was very similar to the heroine in the first book.

Arrow’s story was everything I was hoping for and more! I thought Anna was just what he needed to finally move on and deal with some of his anger. If it was anyone else, I don’t think that they could have pulled him out of his grief. Anna was just the right amount of independent and sweet. And damn funny, she had me cracking up like crazy, especially her scenes with Tracker! These might not be the most dark and edgy MC books, but they are so well written and the characters are so lovable that you can’t help but get hooked on them. I’m looking forward to the next in the series which I’m really, really happy will be Tracker and *hopefully* Lana! With all the build up they better get a HEA or I’ll cut a bitch, probably Ally…lol

January 12, 2019I'm tapping out on this one. The h is just too judgemental,immature and stupid for me. She's a gosh damned scientist they claim but jeeze she sure acts dumb.And Arrow! Wtf? He came out of jail after 5 years decides not to have sex then when he starts feeling something for the h he then breaks his drought? With another woman?!?! Then tells the h when he was getting a bj at the club he was thinking of her. They kiss and then there's a 2 month separation with the brothers teasing him about Jill in front of the h. I'm not even reading further to find out who Jill is. With the immature h, the dumbass H and a writing style that is just not working for me I'm pausing the series.

When you think of MC romance books, automatically one would think of gritty, bad ass bikers who are womanizers Yes, Arrow's Hell had that one element integrated into it's story but this book was so much more. So what's more? Well, in the case for Arrow's Hell, this book was about exposing and peeling layers of love, emotions, healing, and second chances.
HELL. It is defined as a place regarded in various religions as a spiritual realm of evil and suffering, often traditionally depicted as a place of perpetual fire beneath the earth where the wicked are punished after death. The word hell can also be associated with an individual's suffering. As humans, we fear hell. And for Arrow, his own hell came in the form of remorse and guilt. Guilt that a innocent life of someone he cared and loved for was taken from him. A burden that he has carried for five years. I felt their pain, hurt, disappointment, happiness, jealousy, passion, and most importantly their love.
Arrow's Hell was a well-written story that I found myself enjoying and getting lost in the story of Anna and Arrow. This book had so many elements integrated and intertwined into the storyline from love, friendship, raw emotions, angst, drama, and of course showcasing the raw and gritty side of MC life. So if you are fan of MC romance, I highly recommend you to read Arrow's Hell. This book exemplifies the meaning that love truly heals and second chances are not to be wasted.

It's with a sad, crying and heavy heart that I'm giving one single star to this book. I still can't believe myself. Even because I've seen 4 and 5 stars flying around the reviews, this means it's probably my fault. I suggest you to stop reading my review/comment if you still have/want to read this book. I strongly suggest you to not read this review. Stop until you can.
Here we go.
Once upon a time there was a book about a bikers' club that made me laugh so much I end up reading it times and times again in one year. That book was Dragon's Lair by Chantal Fernando. Yes, it was the start of this series, the first book before this one, before Arrow. I loved it so much that was simply ecstatic to know that Arrow's book was coming, and more after that. I waited so long to read it, I loved Arrow in the first book and I wanted so bad to know what happened to him. That's why I had so many expectations. And probably all those expectations ruined this book for me.
I’m disappointed. Upset, mad, sad and heartbroken about this story. And let me tell you why.
Reason #1: Anna – the heroine
If I read another time someone calling her badass, I would explode. Seriously. The last word I would use to describe her is “badass”. You better try with: annoying, whiny, stupid, arrogant, immature, childish (yes, twice), envy, princess of my ass, boring and bitch. Yes, bitch. These are more appropriate words to describe her - if you ask ME.
This little princess of the scientists, came up on us suddenly, because she came back to the city to study another thing that I don’t even care to remember or probably she never said. She’s Rake’s younger sister (poor Rake, really), she’s 25 and she’s studying – like I said. She calls herself a scientist more than once, we know she’s still going to college because the bikers has to go get her every day under Rake’s demand, she has a friend/admirer/poor idiot there that looks like he likes her (we don’t know) and she likes turtles. Oh wait, sorry, tortoises. We don’t want princess to get mad at us! That’s all we know about her studies.
She lives alone in an apartment, she doesn’t use the money his brother put in her bank account and she start working only during the middle of the book, so I really have no idea how she was able to maintain herself and her studies until then. Her best friend is Lana (Trucker’s next book), and they’re friends since high school, or I think so because at some point she said something that confuse me, like “Why aren’t you still in contact with your friends from school?” – Sorry, I thought they went to the same school, wouldn’t she knows that already?
Oh but don’t worry, because princess has something else to think about it – someone else. And that poor christ is our Arrow. But I’ll talk about him later, don’t worry ;)
Okay, let’s just back to Anna. The princess, or better call her Queen, would like that every time she enter the clubhouse every single male around would kneels in front of her, adore her, smile only to her, talk to her and no one else. I’m not kidding. That’s the reason why she didn’t like Faye (YES! FAYE!!!), because the other bikers talked and smiled to her in Anna’s presence. HOW DARE YOU??!!! And don’t let me start about the “whores, sluts, bitches” around the club. Only your highness deserves the attention of these beautiful bikers. Oh wait, I was forgetting one thing! Try to guess who is her best-biker-friend? Trucker, of course. The most beautiful of them all. I don’t know when, how and why they became best friends, I think I missed the memo. Meanwhile I remember exactly how Faye became friend with all of them, Trucker included. But.. meh.. let’s go on.
Physically, how is our Queen? She’s stunning of course!! What did you think?! Your highness is blonde, with beautiful green eyes, curvy and.. I don’t remember anymore. But don’t worry, you will read how beautiful and stunning she is every time she’s speaking with a male - like, in every page.
Being her so “beautiful and stunning”, everybody looked at her. Everybody but Arrow, that didn’t even speak to her. For a while of course, because once she chose him, he’s lost. And she chose him right on the spot, as soon as he ignored her.
So, now we have this 35 years old biker, sad and depressed, that went to prison because he killed a man, being attracted to this whiny, immature 25 years old, sister of one of his “brothers”, because.. Because? I think I’ve lost the memo on this too. But let me start to talk about Arrow.
Reason #2: Arrow – our (previously) precious Arrow.
Like I said, I loved Dragon’s Lair. I loved its main characters (Faye & Sin) and its secondary characters as well. Arrow was one of them, he was probably my favourite with Tracker. So, to say that I was so excited to read his book after what happened there, it's just to minimize it.
Arrow lost Mary, “his” woman, in the first book, and he took revenge killing the president of the club that killed her. He also went to prison for that and it was released after two years, if I’m right. Now are passed 5 years after Mary’s death and we discover that our man here, hasn’t had sex after her, at all. But he goes to a strip club every evening, even if he doesn’t touch no one. Until one day, Anna walk into his life and that’s the end of him.
We have the prologue and the epilogue from Arrow POV, so we really don’t know what happens to him during the story, we only have to trust Anna – sadly. And the man we get from her words, isn’t the same man we met in the first book, not before or after the death of Mary, this is another one.
This Arrow is a beautiful man – of course – that doesn’t speak much, drink a lot and fuck a lot (in Queen’s opinion). Of course he starts to talk when he sees her, and he became rude, an asshole, overprotective and an idiot, I must add. But don’t worry, that’s always an excuse to save his ass, like “I don’t know how to love a woman”.. yeah.. and in the meantime he can “fuck” you whenever he wants and you have to do whatever he wants and you CAN’T ask anything, not a question. Basically “shut up and smile, because I said so”. I confess I almost felt pity for our Queen here, but she always does something to make me remember that she doesn’t deserved my pity.
So, this is another Arrow from the one I remembered, well, I knew he was an idiot, but he was an asshole in here. No pity for him, too.
Reason #3: the great , big, real love of their life! *heart*heart*heart*
How did they fall in love? I’m still wondering because I still don’t understand.. These stupid lost memos!!
Wait a second! Maybe the most romantic moment is when he said to her that he loved her even before he met her because he got an hard on when Rake showed him her picture? WHAT A ROMANTIC MOMENT!! Or maybe when he get the hard on the first time Rake introduces her in person to him, at the strip club? ANOTHER ROMANTIC MOMENT. Or maybe is when he threatened Damien on her phone because he was calling her? Damien is the idiot from school. Or when she made a scene because he was with a woman and called her bitch, slut or whatever he wanted because she’s the queen, don’t forget that. Even if Arrow was free to do whatever he wanted with her life, they weren’t even together at the time.
Seriously, I don’t get this love, I found her to immature and stupid for a 35 years old, and he was too much an asshole for someone who think of herself like the best of the best.
Reason #4: overprotective brother, useless plot-twist to add drama and more.
The title says enough, Rake was really too much sometimes, even if he had all the reasons of the world with a sister like her. The plot twist was useful to add pointless drama to their love-story, and to simply add another gorgeous man to the court of our Queen. And don’t let me start about Jacob, that hurt our Queen 10 years ago! Of course she was going to see him again in front of Arrow, and of course he reacted.
But the thing that really won everything was – well, were – the fights in the gym with Faye. Oh yes, because our Queen know how to kick ass and she showed us.
Pu-h-leaseeeeeeeeeeeee.
Conclusion.
Don’t let me discourage from the read of this book! Go and read it! If you loved Dragon’s Lair you have to read it, also because there’s an extract from the next book: Tracker’s story!! Be ready ladies, because our big, blonde, beautiful man is comiiiing! (And I love big, blonde, beautiful bikers ;) )

Her best friend is Lana (Trucker’s next book), and they’re friends since high school, or I think so because at some point she said something that confuse me, like “Why aren’t you still in contact with your friends from school?” – Sorry, I thought they went to the same school, wouldn’t she knows that already?
Oh but don’t worry, because princess has something else to think about it – someone else. And that poor christ is our Arrow. But I’ll talk about him later, don’t worry ;)
Okay, let’s just back to Anna. The princess, or better call her Queen, would like that every time she enter the clubhouse every single male around would kneels in front of her, adore her, smile only to her, talk to her and no one else. I’m not kidding. That’s the reason why she didn’t like Faye (YES! FAYE!!!), because the other bikers talked and smiled to her in Anna’s presence. HOW DARE YOU??!!! And don’t let me start about the “whores, sluts, bitches” around the club. Only your highness deserves the attention of these beautiful bikers. Oh wait, I was forgetting one thing! Try to guess who is her best-biker-friend? Trucker, of course. The most beautiful of them all. I don’t know when, how and why they became best friends, I think I missed the memo. Meanwhile I remember exactly how Faye became friend with all of them, Trucker included. But.. meh.. let’s go on.
Physically, how is our Queen? She’s stunning of course!! What did you think?! Your highness is blonde, with beautiful green eyes, curvy and.. I don’t remember anymore. But don’t worry, you will read how beautiful and stunning she is every time she’s speaking with a male - like, in every page.
Being her so “beautiful and stunning”, everybody looked at her. Everybody but Arrow, that didn’t even speak to her. For a while of course, because once she chose him, he’s lost. And she chose him right on the spot, as soon as he ignored her.
So, now we have this 35 years old biker, sad and depressed, that went to prison because he killed a man, being attracted to this whiny, immature 25 years old, sister of one of his “brothers”, because.. Because? I think I’ve lost the memo on this too. But let me start to talk about Arrow.
Reason #2: Arrow – our (previously) precious Arrow.
Like I said, I loved Dragon’s Lair. I loved its main characters (Faye & Sin) and its secondary characters as well. Arrow was one of them, he was probably my favourite with Tracker. So, to say that I was so excited to read his book after what happened there, it's just to minimize it.
Arrow lost Mary, “his” woman, in the first book, and he took revenge killing the president of the club that killed her. He also went to prison for that and it was released after two years, if I’m right. Now are passed 5 years after Mary’s death and we discover that our man here, hasn’t had sex after her, at all. But he goes to a strip club every evening, even if he doesn’t touch no one. Until one day, Anna walk into his life and that’s the end of him.
We have the prologue and the epilogue from Arrow POV, so we really don’t know what happens to him during the story, we only have to trust Anna – sadly. And the man we get from her words, isn’t the same man we met in the first book, not before or after the death of Mary, this is another one.
This Arrow is a beautiful man – of course – that doesn’t speak much, drink a lot and fuck a lot (in Queen’s opinion). Of course he starts to talk when he sees her, and he became rude, an asshole, overprotective and an idiot, I must add. But don’t worry, that’s always an excuse to save his ass, like “I don’t know how to love a woman”.. yeah.. and in the meantime he can “fuck” you whenever he wants and you have to do whatever he wants and you CAN’T ask anything, not a question. Basically “shut up and smile, because I said so”. I confess I almost felt pity for our Queen here, but she always does something to make me remember that she doesn’t deserved my pity.
So, this is another Arrow from the one I remembered, well, I knew he was an idiot, but he was an asshole in here. No pity for him, too.
Reason #3: the great , big, real love of their life! *heart*heart*heart*
How did they fall in love? I’m still wondering because I still don’t understand.. These stupid lost memos!!
Wait a second! Maybe the most romantic moment is when he said to her that he loved her even before he met her because he got an hard on when Rake showed him her picture? WHAT A ROMANTIC MOMENT!! Or maybe when he get the hard on the first time Rake introduces her in person to him, at the strip club? ANOTHER ROMANTIC MOMENT. Or maybe is when he threatened Damien on her phone because he was calling her? Damien is the idiot from school. Or when she made a scene because he was with a woman and called her bitch, slut or whatever he wanted because she’s the queen, don’t forget that. Even if Arrow was free to do whatever he wanted with her life, they weren’t even together at the time.
Seriously, I don’t get this love, I found her to immature and stupid for a 35 years old, and he was too much an asshole for someone who think of herself like the best of the best.
Reason #4: overprotective brother, useless plot-twist to add drama and more.
The title says enough, Rake was really too much sometimes, even if he had all the reasons of the world with a sister like her. The plot twist was useful to add pointless drama to their love-story, and to simply add another gorgeous man to the court of our Queen. And don’t let me start about Jacob, that hurt our Queen 10 years ago! Of course she was going to see him again in front of Arrow, and of course he reacted.
But the thing that really won everything was – well, were – the fights in the gym with Faye. Oh yes, because our Queen know how to kick ass and she showed us.
Pu-h-leaseeeeeeeeeeeee.
Conclusion.
Don’t let me discourage from the read of this book! Go and read it! If you loved Dragon’s Lair you have to read it, also because there’s an extract from the next book: Tracker’s story!! Be ready ladies, because our big, blonde, beautiful man is comiiiing! (And I love big, blonde, beautiful bikers ;) )

Arrow's Hell was a delight tame read, one where I instantly felt the connection between the characters. The storyline was good, over protective brother wrecking havoc in Anna's life. Moving back home to be closer to him, she'll under goes major changes to adapt to the MC way of life and the dangers they impose. Transitioning sucks and learning new rules at the age of twenty five is a game changer. While secretly harboring feelings for Arrow. He's, guilt ridden over a woman's death and struggles to emotionally connect. So as you can see all the bases for an intriguing story.
Arrow leans forward, his gaze lowering to my mouth. “You like talking to me. Why?” My eyebrows furrow. “What do you mean?” “Every time I’m around you. You don’t ignore me. You keep yapping away like I’m your fuckin’ friend or something.” I purse my lips. “You are my friend.” Kind of. Sort of. Okay, not really. His lips quirk. “Don’t wanna be your friend, Anna, that’s the whole problem here.”Well. Okay. The man is honest.
Some of the things I didn't like.
1. There wasn't any major acts of violence to hold my interest. Sure there was small scale problems that arose but everything was resolved peacefully, nothing to draw me in further.
2. Anna at first came across as a very independent woman. Who enjoyed her freedom and doing what she pleased. Suddenly all that changes by the club and the domineering men. Everyone calls her feisty but I didn't see it. She suffered in silence and on rare occasions had a hissy without any blowouts. As her relationship/friends or whatever you want to call it grew with Arrow, I felt she lost her identity, becoming weak and pathetic. She was too forgiving for my taste.
3. Anna's friendship with Lana. The girl is fierce and protective of her best friend, someone she's grown with since childhood. When she sees her friend falling for Tracker and noticing his womanizing ways, everyone tells her to leave it, stay out of it! Right like that would happen to one of your best friends! Hell to the no! If I caught a guy stepping out on my bestie, I'd be more than up in his grill and my friend would know about it! Not because I'd want to hurt her or interfere but because I care and am loyal to a fault.
There are other issues but those are the top three. So enjoy and share your feed back.

I really liked Dragon's Lair and all the characters in it, so when book 2 was announced I was crazy excited.
I think that is where my downfall came. I hyped it up in my head; so to me, this book fell short.
I loved Arrow and really wanted him to have his HEA, however I never understood what even drew him to Ana. To me there was no time where they actually spent together to develop feelings. Attraction, fine I can get that, but "omg, I have to make you mine!" Yeah, I didn't get it.
My biggest turn off with this book was the heroine, Rake's sister, Ana. For someone who is 25, in school for a PHd, acting like you belong in high school is unacceptable. You're educated and old enough to know better. It was really unattractive. Besides her immaturity, she was a baby, judgmental, needy and weak. The book kept referring to her as strong, I didn't see it.
She disliked Faye, for no reason.
When she flirted, it reminded me of a 14 year old.
She was in love with Arrow within a week of being a couple.
She always stormed out. I really expected her to throw herself down and have a full blown tantrum.
And in the end, when drama did occur, she punishes Arrow by not talking to him for a week (the man she can't live without) putting him through hell, over someone who never gave two shits about her.
I will continue with this series. I am interested in Tracker's story, it should be entertaining and I hope Rake gets his story after Tracker. I was expecting a bit more ruggedness in this book but it was tame. The drama in it was a bore to me.
Anyway, that's my opinion. I love Ms. Fernando and her books. I'll continue reading her books, but this one wasn't worth my anxiousness.

I really enjoyed this read. The back and forth between Arrow and Anna is tension filled, hot, and full of chemistry. I instantly loved this connection between these two characters as they are so different from one another and yet so perfect for each other.

I have been a fan of this series from the moment I read the first book "Dragon's Lair".Arrow intrigued me, wooed me, and captured me.If you read the first book,then you know that Arrow suffered a tragic loss and the result of that caused him to seek retaliation and murder a rival Club President.This landed him in jail ultimately being released.Five years later and he's still dealing with the death of Mary and with that comes along guilt.
Anna is the younger sister of the Wind Dragons member "Rake".Having a crappy childhood would change a person and sometimes cause them to be different or act out.Anna was the complete opposite of that.She was strong,loving,witty, and very smart.
I'm just a twenty-five-year-old PhD student and a girl who happens to be the younger sister of a Wind Dragons MC member. If people want to judge me,that's their prerogative.
After meeting Arrow for the first time,there was an instant attraction between them.I was really happy about that because Arrow completely closed off to the opposite sex you would think that he was severely allergic.I understood his intentions and his wallowing per say because that was his way of mourning.
Arrow likes his routine.Drink,drink,drink some more aaaaand pass out.Rinse and repeat.Meeting Anna changed all of that.Due to her overprotective brother,she now has to have an escort when her classes are finished.Arrow became that escort and not only was he fighting his feelings for her, he was really struggling with the guilt of trying to move on.I liked how the author portrayed this dilemma between them but I would've really liked Arrow's POV in certain chapters of this story.I know how Anna felt but I just wanted MORE.
What i didnt like was the back and forth that Arrow did left me with neck pain! I wanted to strangle him,hug him, then knock him out.Anna was a champion when it came to it and I LOVED that she wasn't a door mat.She called him out on it and her Bull S#$t meter stayed intact.

Overall if you loved the first book,then you're going to like this one.I have to say that I will be waiting for Tracker's book.That man is messed up and I would love to see how his story is going to play out.

Anna is the younger sister of Rake, Member of the Wind Dragons MC. She's at college and moved back to live near her brother even though she has never been part of his MC life. She's drawn to one particular member, Arrow and just can't fight her feelings even though she knows anything between them would be impossible. She see's something in Arrow even though she knows he's been responsible for at least one person's death, but she is still drawn to him despite the saddness and the issues he has.
Arrow is just as smitten with Anna, he's living in a self imposed hell feeling responsible for not being able to protect Mary during a previous incident with another rival Mc.
I was drawn into this story right from the start, the connection and chemistry between Anna and Arrow had me anxious right from the start, wanting things to work out for them.
It was beautifully written, and their fight against falling in love had me on edge of my seat and totally emotionally involved with them. I loved that their relationship grew and wasn't just wham bam, their journey will have you smiling one minute and tears the next. This isn't just a love story, its a journey and the relationship not just between Anna and Arrow but also their relationships and friendships between the other members of the MC. It becomes so obvious how much this whole group care about each other and have each others backs . Would Rake accept his sister's relationship with Arrow, would the rest of the club? Could Anna live with the MC lifestyle? and who is Talon? So many little twists and turn that keep you turning the pages. I couldn't put this book down till i was finished! if you want a book that takes you through a journey of emotions and is a hot sexy page turner, this is the book for you !!!

A autora não nos desaponta e entrega uma história interessante e que prende a atenção do leitor. Todos personagens são interessantes e ficamos focados não somente pela história dos personagens principais como também pelos personagens secundários que dão um colorido especial para a história. Recomendadíssimo!

To say this has been an anxious wait, would definitely be an understatement!! From the moment I met Arrow in Dragon's Lair I wanted to know more about this enigma of a man. He is broody in every way, shape, and form; but at the same time he is someone completely different on the inside. To get a glimpse of the man they call Arrow before tragedy hits I recommend you read the first book in the series. Even though it is about two different characters, Arrow builds a strong relationship with one of the main characters from said book. Through their story you are able to see Arrow on his road of destruction after the death of Mary.
This book starts in Arrow's POV and ugh, what a freaking book opener it is!!! Instantly you are hit with the angst, the misery, the agony, hurt, and pain this man has endured and is currently enduring. In walks Anna, Rake's little sister and she becomes that bright light at the end of the tunnel for our Arrow. But he isn't alone in his feelings, because little Anna sees him and she can't help but want him for him. Want to be the woman that guides him out of the darkness. Their connection is instant, powerful, beautiful, intense, and neither can ignore the pull they feel towards one another.
At first we are given silent glances, brief touches, stolen kisses as we watch this two fall even deeper for each other. Soon those things turn into unbridled passion, uncontrollable desire as these two dive head first into each other. Together they're ravenous and down right selfish as they crave and devour each other insatiably.
Their relationship is tested from the beginning even before they become a couple, at every turn, and from every angle. I found myself pounding my head wondering when they would catch a break or crying my eyes out from the weight of personal guilt that this man carried around in his heart. I hurt for him... in my heart and in every fiber of my being. The angst in this book packs a powerful punch when compared to its predecessor.
I'm beginning to learn Chantal's thing when it comes to developing her female leads. She makes them feisty, sassy, ballsy and dare I say cheeky even. I love how strong they are, how she gives them their own voice and how she makes them tough but sexy, and vulnerable but no pushover. Anna did not disappoint when it came to Chantal's "thing". Her characteristics were the same as Faye's, yet you could clearly see the differences in the two characters. Anna's stubbornness essentially brought Arrow to his knees on multiple occasions if you catch my drift ;)
This is a story about forgiveness. Whether it's forgiving yourself or forgiving someone else. It's also about healing, about rebuilding relationships and forming new ones. Once again, Chantal Fernando gives us an underlying humor in this novel and shows us the true meaning of family isn't about the blood that runs through your veins, rather the blood of the ones who have always been there for you.

This is the second book in this series, following 'Dragon's Lair', picking up about five years later. Arrow has served his prison sentence, but has only begun to serve his self-imposed sentence. He spends his days drowning in booze, suffocating in guilt and blaming himself for the death of Mary. The way he sees it, if she doesn't get to live a happy life, then he shouldn't get to either.
Of course, things start to change when Rake's younger sister, Anna, moves back into town. He wants her, and it is obvious that she wants him. However, Arrow is fighting an inner battle. He is determined to spare Anna the type of danger and pain that follows him. She is determined to thaw this stoic man that takes center stage in her favorite fantasies.
Just when you think Arrow and Anna have found their way, Arrow's past comes back to haunt him in an unexpected way. Finally welcoming happiness back into his life, he may stand to lose it all again.
All in all, this story was okay. It was a relatively quick and easy read. It wasn't plagued with grammatical errors or editing oversights, like so many books I've read in recent years. It was "good". However, it didn't grab me the same way that the story of Sin and Faye did and I didn't love it. It was nice, but not one that will probably stand out in my memory a few days, or weeks, from now.
This is the second book in this series, following 'Dragon's Lair', picking up about five years later. Arrow has served his prison sentence, but has only begun to serve his self-imposed sentence. He spends his days drowning in booze, suffocating in guilt and blaming himself for the death of Mary. The way he sees it, if she doesn't get to live a happy life, then he shouldn't get to either.

3.5 stars. I was looking forward to Arrow's story after the way the first book ended. I couldn't wait to see how he was handling life after losing someone he loved and trying to live with the guilt.
Arrow really pushed my buttons and tested my patience. At times I just wanted to hug him because he was so emotionally broken yet other times he needed a serious kick in the junk. He said and did things that deserved a good beat down.
Anna was a cool chick. Being Rake's younger sister she was introduced to his life with the Wind Dragons MC. She was strong, spoke her mind and stood up for herself. She gave as good as she got yet still was still vulnerable.
The chemistry between Arrow and Anna was smokin' hot and when things were good they were great together. Initially I enjoyed the slow burn and cat and mouse game between them but over time it just became repetitive.
A few times I was also frustrated by the lack of communication on Arrow's part. He just used sex to gloss over the issues. I wanted Anna to stand up for herself more instead of giving in.
Minus these few piddly issues, the story was engaging and Arrow totally redeemed himself. I loved how he made sure Anna knew how much he loved her. For a man of few words he sure can made a woman swoon when he really speaks up.
I Iove having more of Rake, Sin, Faye and especially Tracker. He's a pistol and I am definitely excited for his book. Lana just might bring him to his knees!! I like getting a hint of who Talon is and hope to get more of his story in future books.
This is a fun series that sucks you in with its funny banter, seriously hot alpha males, sassy women and always some sort of drama.
