Rodney Howard-Browne is a Charismatic Christian preacher and evangelist. He is pastor of The River at Tampa Bay, a church which he and his wife founded in 1996, and heads Revival Ministries International. He was born in South Africa and has resided in Tampa, Florida, USA since the mid-1990s.

“God wants to know us intimately. He desires that we follow His plan and gentle promptings, know and obey His Word, and seek Him daily. He wants us to be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46:10), and to hear His still, small voice. It is not mystical or mysterious. We are supposed to live with our spirit connected to His Spirit, to see and hear His plan and purpose for our lives. The Church has been so focused on the spectacular and pleasing its earthly senses. In doing so, the Church has opened itself up to the demonic, the psychic, familiar spirits, and operating in the realm of the mind and the flesh.”
