Seamus: Fated to the Fae Book Three

Seamus is the third book in the Fated to the Fae romantasy series of full-length 18+ books where each has its own happily ever after. If you like a little steam with your romance, a Bachelorette-type dating game, swoon-worthy heroes with relatable heroines, and NEED a happily ever after where you don't say goodbye to the entire fantastical world within, then this series is for you.

Taylor followed her sister, Sarah, to Fairie... along with their whole family. After watching Sarah find her Fate Bonded mate, Taylor's heart begins to open to the idea of love. In fact, she's already got someone in mind. Sweet, sexy Seamus.

The more time they spend together, the more certain she is that he's the one for her. But the only way to date in Fairie? Host a Questioning, a ridiculous dating game that's supposed to help you find your mate. And Taylor's not the kind of girl who wants to be pushed into anything. She wants to choose her own love, not join a dating game where there's only a 1% chance to end up with the man she's already falling for.

And Taylor's love life isn't the only issue in Fairie right now. There's something going on with the portal between the realms and Taylor's been asked to help figure it out. She's already trying to figure out a way to date Seamus without a dating game. Good thing she's a P.I. that lives to solve puzzles.

“What does a girl have to do around here to get a bunch of fae men competing for her? Asking for... me. Yeah, asking for me."

Arc review:
I continue to very much enjoy this series. I liked the edition of Brian as a character, and I am excited to see where his story goes. This book continues to build on the larger plot while still sprinkling in a love match and some spicy scenes. Katrina has done such a great job of keeping each book feeling fresh with new leads and new characters added.
I’m excited to see where the next book takes us, and who the next main character will be.
Also I need more Gram!!

Say it with me: FATED MATES! Squeals with glee!

Yes, I’m an absolute sucker for a fated mates storyline! I will debate this trope forever, and no, you’ll never change my mind—it’s the best, with some of the most fun storylines out there. When I discovered Katrina Vincent’s Fated to the Fae series, I devoured each book with the speed of a cheetah and the excitement of a five-year-old on Christmas morning.

Since Seamus is the third book, you may want to read the first two before diving in, but it’s not strictly necessary. If you’re feeling rebellious or short on time, never fear—you can still enjoy this book as a standalone. Here’s a quick recap to set the scene!

The Fae realm has a shortage of females due to the magical portals between worlds being closed. These closures weren’t accidental but deliberate, and over time, this led to a dangerously low number of females. In Book 1, a human woman accidentally stumbles into the Fae realm, followed by another in Book 2. Each discovers her fated mate through a process called the “Questioning” (think The Bachelorette but fae-style!). These women, it turns out, are half-fae, descended from ancient fae bloodlines. While many in the Fae realm see this as hope for a brighter future, some aren’t thrilled, and lingering tensions add a layer of intrigue from Book 2 into Book 3.

Alright, let’s talk about the characters in Seamus!

Seamus is our lovable cinnamon roll of a hero, and if you’ve read the earlier books, you’ll recognize him. He’s been in every story so far, and his sweet, thoughtful personality shines through each time. I was always disappointed when he didn’t make it further in the Questioning processes, which is why I adored this book! Seamus’s personality comes through in the best ways here—he’s even more thoughtful and surprisingly bold. And let’s just say, when the spice kicks in, he’s full of surprises!

Then there’s Taylor, the sister of Sarah (the main character from Book 2). Taylor is such a fun character—independent, fierce, and with a wicked sense of humor. I wasn’t sure what to expect from her at first, but I quickly came to love her, especially as her depth and thoughtfulness emerged. By the end, she had secured her place as my favorite female character in the series!

From chapter one, sparks fly between Seamus and Taylor, and the chemistry is unmistakable. Their fated connection is palpable, adding a bit of forbidden allure since dating isn’t the norm in the Fae realm. Given the scarcity of females, every pairing goes through the intense “Questioning.” There’s one scene where Seamus tackles a puzzle during the Questioning—I was on the edge of my seat, hands sweaty, praying he’d pass! Even with fated mates, the suspense of who will be chosen keeps you hooked.

If you’re a fan of fantasy with fated mates, fae magic, and a dash of intrigue, I highly recommend grabbing Seamus and the first two books in the Fated to the Fae series. It’s a delightful mix of romance, adventure, and heartwarming moments, perfect as a lighter read between heavier books.

I’m eagerly awaiting the next installment in this series and can’t wait to see which fae and human pairing Katrina Vincent has in store for us next!

Grateful appreciation to Katrina Vincent for providing a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions expressed are entirely my own and reflect my genuine experience with the story.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After helping her sister through her Questioning (basically Fae Bachelorette) and then rescuing her from her fated mates father, Taylor finds herself growing closer to one particular fae male. Using her PI skills to to try figure out why the portal between the Faerie realm and the human realm is no longer working and spending more and more time with Seamus she starts to wonder, maybe love isn't as scary as she thought it was, maybe it's time to put herself out there, maybe host a Questioning of her own wouldn't be so bad if he was the one was standing with her at the end.

⚡️Fated Mates

⚡️Independent and Strong FMC

⚡️Cinamon Roll in the streets Alpha in the Sheets

⚡️Intriguing Mystery

⚡️Faerie Magic

⚡️Loveable Characters

Unlike the first 2 books, Seamus is best read as a series and not as a standalone. You're going to want to read Daire before diving into this one! Building on the plot from the previous book we are getting further into the mystery of the He-Man Woman-Haters Club (if you get that reference I love you). It's a really interesting development from the simple and cozy that Kiernan was and is a fantastic sequel to the still cozy but deeper plot of Daire. Seamus although still cozy, and sweet with that guaranteed HEA, has some real grit, showing a darker side to the Faerie realm.

Not only the is the sub-plot a lot more fleshy but the characters have also become deeper too! I am loving learning more about the characters I already adore and meeting the new character Brian was so much fun!!! I can see magic happening there in future books and I can not wait. As with book 2 Gram is still one of my absolute favourites and I hope she sticks around for the rest of the series!

Overall this book is just fantastic, this whole series is like a warm hug! I knew picking it up was going to feel good but it feels like coming home after a long day. I am really enjoying the darker sub-plot that Katrina is developing and I am so excited to see where it leads but this book is foremost a romantasy! The fantastical magical elements and the sizzling (and I mean HOT 🔥) romance are so well done that i didn't want it to end! I can not wait for book 4... I'm feeling a Roarke book is on the horizon and I am here for it!!!

ARC Review-

Book 3 in Fated to the Fae Series
Guaranteed HEA (Happily Ever After)
Dating Game
Fated Mates
Open Door
Friends First
Cinnamon Roll MMC

Book 3 we follow Taylor as she begins to open up to the idea of love/relationships and she's already has someone in mind - Seamus.

I would highly recommend reading the first two books as the series continues to evolve with each book outside of The Questioning (dating game).

Taylors outside PI experience is brought into her new life in the Fairie world and helps with the ongoing investigations going on. I liked how Taylor didn't just jump into doing her own Questioning and .. questioned the processes overall when she had known she was starting to feel something more for Seamus. Her being real, showing insecurities but still being super caring was really relatable. I enjoyed the Seamus is a healer through and through but deep down, with the right person likes to take control and .. maybe even a bit possessive.

I feel like I'm going to continue to say this but GRAM GRAM GRAM ! Literally love her and now need to see Gram have her own book! Speaking of which after book 3 - if THOMAS doesn't get his own , I'm not sure what I'll do!!

Can't wait to continue this series and see what's in store for Finn, Roarke and many other characters!

" Oh, mo stor, I'm never stopping again."

"I will love you forever, Taylor. I promise I won't ever give you a reason to regret the choice you mad with me."

I got the pleasure to Beta read this and I couldn't be happier!!

Taylor is such a boss!!! She had a no nonsense attitude when needed, she is motivated she was to help anyway that she could and she is sweet and caring. She has always had a thing for Seamus since coming to Fairie but refuses to be pushed into the Questioning just to prove he's the one. She already knows he's it and the more time they spend together the more she falls for him.

I loved Seamus so much. He is sooooo sweet and caring and a bit possessive at times especially in the beginning when they were hiding their feelings. The way he was there for Taylor even before they got together and the way he made her feel safe.

Gram is an absolute riot and I'm so glad she made an appearance in this book as well. This series is just too cute. I loved the suspense aspect with the portals and whats happening in the realm, giving you even more clues and leaving you on the edge of your seat to find out whats going on. I can't wait to see what else is in store for this series.

This series is so much fun! Kiernan (book 1) was one of the first ARCs I ever read and I’ve loved continuing this story. It’s such a breath of fresh air to read a fantasy book that is very light and funny amidst the series, heavier books I normally ready. This series gives you a literal fae man dating game in each book but also has an outside plot to follow.

Book 3 is very obviously about Seamus (MMC) and Taylor (FMC), who is Sarah’s sister from the previous book. Taylor is a slightly different FMC as she’s never opened herself to love before and struggled with accepting it. She’s also unique in knowing who she wants to be matched with before going through “The Questioning”.

Brian is a great addition to the story and I’m very much looking forward to the queer love rep and his own dating game potentially in future books. Gram is magnificent as always. I’m also looking forward to potential Beth & Finn love matches and now Roarke maybe finding his person in Brian’s sister 👀

Thank you Katrina for an ARC in exchange for my honest review! Excited to continue hearing the stories you have to tell.

Once again I utterly enjoyed another Fated to the Fae story. I loved the first two and loved Seamus just as much. Author Katrina Vincent does an amazing job incorporating a larger plot storyline into her stories - they aren’t just a dating, matchmaker romance story but of course that’s included. I have loved each of the girls Questionings so far and love the mystery and suspense that is present in the other plot line. FMC Taylor was so fun to follow - I love how her previous PI job experience and inquisitive personality has carried over so much into the Fairie world. I also loved how Taylor’s doubts and insecurities were included into her experience… it made it much more realistic and relatable. MMC Seamus was just a sweetheart who is protective and possessive of that whom he loves. Gram… as always was a HOOT (the safe code had me dying). In Seamus you’re going to find witty and hilarious banter, mystery, suspense, sweet moments and the perfect spice!

Cannot wait to continue the story in the next Fated to Fae book!

I had assumed that there wouldn’t be another great love story for Katrina Vincent’s Fated to the Fae series like Daire’s—he’s one of the two male faeries that I love and adore—however, stepping into Seamus’ story, I was proven wrong.

It seems as though Vincent has mastered the art of creating a story where the romance gets better with every book she writes. Right from the start, it is obscenely clear to anyone who has eyes that both Taylor and Seamus are attracted to each other and are in desperate need to be together. In spite of Seamus’ beliefs that they should go through the Questioning for a fair chance for her hand, Taylor sticks through with her blunt honesty in that she only wants him and nothing would change her mind.

It is also that honesty and confidence in herself that plays a major factor in the mystery in regarding to the cliffhanger in the previous book. It is actually interesting to read alongside Taylor as she pierces together the mystery behind the portals and what may have caused it. I had felt like a junior private investigator, haha.

I enjoyed reading this book—although there are, at some points of time, where I facepalmed at one or two characters’ poor choices—and obviously, swooned at the romance. Who knew I’d be knees deep in love with the trope of “I know you like me and I won’t give up even if you say that we shouldn’t and it’s against the rules” trope.

I absolutely cannot wait to see what else Vincent has store for the next book! BRB, gonna run to her website to see who is my Fate Bond!

Thank you to Katrina Vincent for the eARC copy! 🫶

Seamus” by Katrina Vincent is pure bachelorette-style fae chaos with a side of mystery, and I am HERE for it!

Seamus is the ultimate swoon-worthy fae—passionate, determined, and so patient with Taylor while she works through her insecurities (seriously, we all need a Seamus). Watching her accept the love she’s always deserved made me want to call my therapist ASAP. Is it a coincidence that me and Taylor share a birthday, love of puzzles, AND dominant men? Am I Taylor??

The spice? Insane. I cannot get these scenes out of my head, my husband can’t decide if he’s excited or concerned. I was literally kicking my feet in bed while fighting the flu—hot fae men really are the best medicine.

One of my favorite things about Kat’s writing is her Swiftie Easter eggs. They’re like little gifts hidden in all the drama and romance. I can’t wait for the rest of these fae hunks to get their shot at love. But, what really has me hooked is the mysteries around the portals. I’m DYING to know more.

If you’re into steamy fantasy with heart and humor, grab this ASAP!

And the journey of Fated to the Fae continues.
So far I'm not sure which one of the three already released books are my favorite, but Seamus is definitely top book boyfriend material. I'm so excited to see how the plot throughout the series continues to unfold as well as who ends up with who.
Katrina had me nervous during The Questioning for a minute. I thought that she was going to pull a uno reverse situation and let him fail.. but at the end she didn't disappoint. I'm enjoying the whole Bachelorette dating game and fated mates trope. It definitely not your typical novel and that's what makes it so good.
I can't wait to see how Tay's and Seamus relationship develops in the upcoming books but I'm glad she stopped sabotaging herself and decided to him everything a chance.. what did caught me by surprise was Seamus Cneasu being a little freak in the sheets. It really be the quiet ones 🤭
And Like always Gram continues to be one of my favorite characters, Katrina pleaseee give my old lady a novella 😂😂 I think she's done dealing with these stubborn idíoțs, she's ready for her HEA.

The way I devoured this book 😍

Seamus is the 3rd book in the Fated to the Fae series. I recommend reading the first 2 for more context on what is happening in this world before jumping into this one.

Taylor is from the human world, and has been in Faerie with her sister after a portal randomly opened between the worlds a few months ago. While working through that mysterious issue, Taylor is also facing something different - she might just be in love with Seamus. But she has to go through Faerie’s dating rituals before she can see if that’s true.

I love getting see Seamus come out of his shell, and take charge, in this book. We learn so much more about him and our Faerie friends in this book. I also loved seeing Taylor’s love for her friends, old and new, come into play in so many different ways. She really learns that sometimes it’s okay to put yourself first, and trust that you’re enough.

Thank you Katrina for allowing me to be a part of this ARC team!

Okay, Daddy Seamus. I see you! Let's start by saying that with the other two books, I did not see Seamus acting like that in the spicy scenes, but I'm totally here for it! The last book ended on a cliffhanger, so I was super excited to grab this book as soon as I could! The way Katrina Vincent writes the trials and games in her books are top tier. I love the creativity of them and how you don't know exactly what she's testing for until she gives you the answer. I also love the grandma and her relationship with everyone in these last two books. She's hilarious, and I always look forward to her making an entrance. These books are the perfect short, sweet, breather books between the heavier stuff I read, like high fantasy or darker romances. I love this series, and I can't wait to see what happens next cause these books just keep getting better as they come out.

I have had the honor to receive an ARC-copy of Seamus. The third book of Fated to the Fae series by @authorkatrinavincent

And my lord 🥵 I had myself fanning ladies. Who thought sweet Seamus could turn into that 😉

If you have read Kiernan and Daire, you have already met both Seamus and Taylor.
I was glad to see some more insights to both these characters. I liked it better than Daire, to be honest. But I also liked Taylor as a character better. She very relatable to me, especially in being closed off to men.

I wonder what will happen next, will we have Beth? Or will we have Roarke? Or even Thomas!

Seamus is an absolute ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, an absolute recommend. I am still fanning myself. Buy it on release date; Black Friday.

We are back in Fairie…and it feels sooo right! Book 3 in this series and it definitely did not disappoint. Taylor followed her family to Fairie and she understands this world…this wonderful magical world. Her PI mind definitely ask the right questions and she’s always getting answers to her questions….no matter what they are about. She also knows there are rules when you want to be with someone. No matter what she has her mind and heart set on Seamus. Healer Seamus definitely has his heart set on Taylor…but rules are rules. See in Fairie one just doesn’t date someone…nope. You have to take part in the Questioning, where you will find your soulmate. The questioning is a dating game where your fated mate will match with you and you then know that you belong together. Taylor and Seamus go into this believing that they belong together…do they?! We want them to be together because they definitely have undeniable chemistry and fun banter. But what will the questioning bring?!
If that’s not enough we have another portal mystery. A new person is in Fairie and he is confused and unsure if this is where he belongs. What about his family? What about the human realm? There are a lot of questions and we get a lot of them answered. This book was a great addition to this already fun series. These characters are certainly magical and larger than life. The characters bring this fun story to life and leave us wanting more. This series and its fast paced books are extremely entertaining and I’m already looking forward to reading book four! I’m ready!

These books are definitely one of my guilty pleasures. If you love Magic and discovering a Fae world this might be a good book to read. You might like it more if that Fae world was also filled with Hot Male Faries loving for love. Sprinkle in love matching game that could help you find a fate bond. As much as I love these books all the cliff hanger ending drive me crazy.

“My Love. My heart. Mo stór. My Treasure…”

I am thoroughly enjoying this series! I binge read this book and have no regrets reading until midnight (again) on a work night. (That’s what caffeine is for)

I digress.

We have our Bachelorette Taylor and another swoon worthy bachelor Seamus. I loved they felt such a connection in the beginning, but of course they still have to go through the rules of The Questioning. I felt an ache for them when Taylor worried she might not choose Seamus. And it ached again when Taylor’s anxieties were clouding her judgement on her relationship with Seamus. I could honestly relate to Taylor in her anxieties…
…I’m trying so hard not to spoil the story so I’ll stop my rambling here and will turn on the spoiler button for this review just in case.

The thing I love about romance stories with HEAs is you could predict/guess who the characters end up with, but it’s the journey to each other that captures my attention. Check this series out if you’re in need of heart tugging and laughs!

Edit: I’m a little late to post this review. I was updating my Goodreads and realized I still had this review sitting in my notes app 😅

I was lucky enough to Beta read this, and I’m so thrilled!
Taylor is such a powerhouse—she’s got a no-nonsense vibe when it counts, a big heart, and she’s always ready to help. Ever since she came to Fairie, she’s had a soft spot for Seamus, but she won’t let anyone rush her into “the Questioning.”

And Seamus?
Sweet, caring, a little possessive (in the best way), especially when they’re keeping their feelings under wraps. He’s been there for Taylor from day one, making her feel safe and cared for.

Gram is hilarious as always! I loved seeing her back in action. This series has such an adorable charm, but it’s packed with suspense too. The mystery with the portals and all the realm drama kept me on edge, just trying to figure out what’s next! I’m so pumped for the next book—I just know it’s going to be amazing!
