Quinn Adler is an emotionally prickly but dedicated paramedic. On a call one night, she and her EMT partner, Nathan Kimball, witness a girl’s disturbing death. As Quinn and Nate work with local law enforcement and private investigators on the case, it emerges that an enigmatic leader has been growing a cult beneath the county's collective noses.
But the cult may be a front for something even deeper and darker.
While Quinn and Nate become closer, it becomes clear that the children of Timucua are not safe…and neither are Quinn and Nate.
This book was phenomenal. It was so well written you felt Ike you were there. You can't help but become invested in the characters they are so relatable you really want them to win. I love this author. New to writing but both her books Hunting Blind and this one Warm and Dead have been so good you don't want to put them down. If you haven't given her a try you should I guarantee you won't regret it.
