Here we go again with Ray & her group of knobheads! 😜 If you haven’t started with The Reapers MC, Ravenswood series I HIGHLY recommend you do for both context and because it’s freaking amazing.
As expected we get the fearless Ray along with her crew, we get the mayhem, the action, the brutality. But we also get the pure love this family has for each other along with the utter devotion they all have.

The internal battle we witness within Tali was so palpable, you can sense how young she is to be facing such challenges especially when compared to Ray’s ability to almost disassociate while on mission.
Getting insight into some of our favorite morally grey men made this book even better, these guys appear all grit and stone on the outside. But everyone wants love right? Just because you’re not one of the good guys, does that mean you don’t deserve to love & be loved? I sure hope we find out because Tali doesn’t know what type of love or life she is yearning for either. “𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵? I throughly enjoy getting so many perspectives in Harley’s continuation with these characters. There is so much depth to the plot with layer upon layer of story. Of course with that cliffhanger I’ll be on edge until I get to read book 2 - 𝗩𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆!

I had the honour of reading this book as an arc read and it was spectacular
Ray is at it again, being her incredible, unhinged badass self - The Reaper, with her incredible team Foxtrot 5.
Tali calls her frantically stating that her mum Carmen and stepdad Viking (Rays Brother) have been taken and there are people in the Villa. Within minutes she’s dressed and on her bike, alongside Priest, with her men in armoured vehicles behind her heading to the Villa, and what they find is horrific
Ray starts to investigate who was behind it, and who’s put a hit out on her, using her insane torture and unaliving skills to extract information from the people involved
Tali, is staying at the Lodge at Rays compound, struggling to cope with everything, and having horrendous nightmares about that night, whilst also struggling with feelings that she’s developed for Knight and Bishop, two of the team. She has no idea what she’s going to do with her life and if she’ll ever see her parents again, and is desperate for comfort, whilst Knight and Bishop are struggling with their own feelings for her, whilst trying to stay professional.
What Ray finds out during her interrogations is shocking, and she sees red. They go on the hunt, whilst saving victims and punishing perpetrators in The Reapers unique way
The cliffhanger at the end of the book has me on the edge of my seat, desperate for book 2

My heart has barely,not even completely, recovered from the Reaper’s MC series, yet I love being back in this world. You don’t have to read the series prior to get into this book, buuuuuut it is so amazing, you really should. Plus you’ll get better enjoyment from this story having all the emotional history from the previous books.
Now with all that said, I adore Ray and I’m happy to continue on her unhinged bad ass journey. I love all the characters we meet or are reacquainted with. Each one fully developed in personality and description you can’t help but be become captivated. This book is fast paced, and all of the banter is fantastic. You get full roller coaster of feels and panty melting spice, which I’ve come to expect from Harley Raige’s writing. The action, violence and gore keep me on the edge of my seat and the pages turning. The cliffy is quite a gasp worthy frustrating doozy , but we won’t have to wait long for what’s coming next!!!!

An easy read, continuing on from the reapers stories told in the reapers MC series that started Harley Raige on this journey.
So, this was an ARC read for me, sent to me by the author.
I really enjoy these stories. . . they are not for the faint of heart,pussy people out there. Harley's dedication tells the reader all you need to know.
Reaper our main character, I felt was a bit tamer in this story. . .maybe having kids, and being settled down has changed her? Not that I agree with that scenario, as HR knows. I will never forgive and forget what she did to Steele, and I think because of those feelings, I'm somewhat one eyed about Reaper's and Priest's relationship. I don't feel it!!!, and infact I don't like Priest. Sorry, not sorry.
But my feelings aside (as best I can) for this couple, I enjoyed the story, it's gritty, gross, and sexy, but at the same time loving and caring.
It's mostly Catalinas story as the team search for her parents, after they were taken. In-between Catalinas story of grief, and need for her family to be reunited, there's a slowly developing romance. The big question is, will Catalina get the love she craves? And will the team find and return Viking and Carmen to the fold. ?
Loads of action, sexy times and mayhem as we start off on a new adventure with Reaper and her team.
Looking forward to the next book, so I can get over the damn cliffhanger!!

Very interesting!
I didn't realize that this is the next part of Reaper's story. It is very good but like the previous books this is very dark. It makes you wonder about where some of these thoughts come from. Ready for the second part.

Amazing! OMG, what a book
I was given this as an advanced reader copy, which I am so pleased that I was. It is an absolutely amazing carry on from the Reapers MC series that Harley Raige brilliantly wrote. This book does not disappoint and is not for the faint-hearted. Harley is a brilliantly talented and imaginative author who writes graphically descriptive scenes both of a sexual and violent nature a like, all of which are equally amazing.
This storyline is centred around Catalina (Tali), Cartel Princess and Ray’s ‘adopted niece’, who is dealing with the grief of brutally discovering her missing parents, as well as the potentially developing love of Knight and Bishop. After Tali calling ‘Santa Muerte’, Ray, with her team, begin to investigate their disappearance, only to unravel and discover that it may be deeper and more convoluted than what they originally thought. With a true flare for the dramatic, the FMC Ray is let loose in all manner of ways; her highly sexual but loving relationship with Priest, her soulmate and ‘father’ to her children, to her keenly focussed other self’s gruesome torture techniques (To fully grasp how and why Ray is how she is, I would highly recommend reading Reapers MC).
This book is fast-paced, imaginative, vividly descriptive, with humour and banter thrown in, providing us with some dark scenes of imaginative torture, but also some spicy sex scenes with blood play. Please do read Harley’s trigger warnings to fully enjoy this book, but be warned this one ends on a cliffhanger ……naughty Harley! I would 100% recommend this book and any others of Harley Raige’s. Cannot wait for Vow to Destroy ….bring it on Harley!

Harley Raige does not disappoint!
***While reading The Reapers MC, Ravenswood is not required prior to reading Vow To Defend, I HIGHLY recommend it!***
Ray is back leading the team that answers only to her on a job that’s more than just a mission…it’s personal! This time it’s to protect one of her own. With a call for help, Foxtrot 5 jumps to the call. This book is about the awakening and self-discovery of a young woman on a new course - a woman Ray and her team Vow To Defend. It’s about one man who shows hate towards her and always puts the team first, it’s about two men who fight their feelings towards her and it’s about two men completely in love but will protect her at all cost. It’s about decisions she has to make that will affect the rest of her life, it’s about coming to terms with past failures with the wrong men, it’s about taking chances. In true author fashion, Harley Raige shows in her characters true angst, fear, vulnerability, passion, revenge and of course a bit of the psychotic. Through her wicked creativity you will never look at normal household items the same way again. And of course the ending leaves you pulling out your hair while marking down the days on your calendar for the conclusion of the Duology to be released! Harlry Raigr has quickly become one of my favorite, if frustrating authors (said tongue-in-cheek)! Her books are a must read!

Harley Raige did it again. I couldn't help but follow Ray (Reaper) on her next adventure. I have been addicted to her since the first book. This one did not disappoint, and in true Harley fashion leaves you wanting more.
This story follows Ray and her team tracking down the people responsible for the occurences at Carmens villa.
The team: King, Knight, Bishop, Rook, and Queen. The team has been on missions since who knows when. They are like family, than a team with Rook and Queen being closer than that. Things would be easier in Kings mind if they weren't babysitting. And if knight and Bishop could get a certain woman out of their kind that they both fell head over heels for.
The ending was a cliffhanger that I can not wait for book two. Im on edge, just waiting to know what happens.

Harley does it again!!! This book is the next installment from the Reapers MC series and although you don't necessarily need to read it to follow the story it does reveal major twists. I recommend reading them in order to get the full Ray crazy because she is quite the character and watching her go from Ray to Reaper is entertaining. But again not necessary to enjoy this book.
A lot of the characters make another appearance but this book focuses on Foxtrot 5 and has minimal interactions with the MC.
Ray receives a phone call that sets this book into motion on finding the people responsible for the bloody mess they left behind. Her, King, Queen, Rook, Bishop, and Knight are on a mission to not only protect Talk but find, bring home, and make the people responsible pay dearly.

I read all these author's books without reading the blurbs, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that this duology is a follow-up to Ray's series. I loved Ray in all her unhinged glory, and this one really proved why I do.
This story does focus on Tali, after her mother and Viking were taken, leaving their cartel without a leader. Presumed dead, Tali is moved into the compound and kept safe by members of the Foxtrot 5. In the meantime, Ray and Co. spend their time hunting down leads for Carmen and Viking's disappearance.
I liked getting to know Tali more! I also like that we get chapters from many viewpoints, as it's always fun (& interesting) to see things from different perspectives.
There is a cliffhanger ending but I'm so excited for book 2! I've missed these characters, so I'm happy we get more!

What an explosive start to this duology! It races along at breakneck speed with wildfires breaking out everywhere — and I’m not talking the ones in nature but those between the sheets. It’s a why-choose dark romance with great world building, which follows on from the author’s Reapers MC, Ravenswood Series. Reading the first series would be helpful to understand the backgrounds of Ray and Catalina but not necessary for this story.
The characters are captivating, intriguing, and three-dimensional with great depth, and the scene settings immersive with the sights, sounds, and smells wafting from the pages.
I blasted through the book as quickly as I could, as it was a real page-turner, and I couldn’t put it down. I was gripped from the first sentence and wanted to throw my kindle at the wall when it ended on a cliffhanger. I need the next book now!

Ray is the sick glue that holds them all together, tethered to life by Priest, her everything.
King is hard around the edges (but I’m sure that’s just covering for something yet to be unravelled), Queen and Rook are too cute in a newlyweds-kinda-way, Knight had my heart from page 1, and Bishop…. He snuck up on me, and I want so much more of him.
And Tali, she’s a lost, traumatised, broken Cartel princess that doesn’t know which ways up… not yet anyway.
I’m counting down until Vow to Destory is released!!!

Wow Harley, you have managed to do it again. Way to leave us hanging!
Vow to defend has loads going on from plenty of different perspectives which can get a little confusing sometimes but once you get your head around who’s who, it gets a little easier. The Foxtrot 5 guys are fun to read about; even King who is the hardest of all to crack but I feel he is softening a little bit.
This book is slightly easier to understand if you have read The Reaper’s MC books as you will know Ray’s background and how she is where she is but it can still be read as a standalone series.
I can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens.

I really enjoyed this book! We get to see Ray again after a bit of a time jump from the Reapers MC. She's still dealing with everything that happened. But Ray gets a call from Catalina that sends her into Reaper mode.
This story is based around Catalina. Catalina comes home to find her mother, Carmen, and Viking missing. She calls the one person she knows can help. Ray enlists her team, Foxtrot 5, to watch over Catalina while she hunts for her family.
Catalina has a big decision to make, does she take the crown or does she run.
I'm excited to read the next book and see how everything falls into place.

Start to finish every book in the series has been so good. You fall in love with characters, you hate characters and you grieve for some.
I won't give away spoilers but I can tell you Ray is the best leading FMC I have ever read about. She is so sexy, cool and badass.
The men are top shelf and let me say I have never wanted a King so bad in my life!

This is the first book that I have read from this author. Now I'm going to have to go back and read her previous books and can't wait till the next one. I mean this book had me hanging from a cliff the entire time like what's going on what's going to happen who's behind all this. Will she won't she be with one guy two guys or maybe all three of them. And now I get to the end of it and I'm like well crap that was a cliffhanger of all Cliffhangers. Cannot wait for the next one.

Do not sleep on this series!!!
Make sure you read the Reaper MC series first, cuz it will make this series Sooo much better!
I really enjoyed being able to see the growth in the characters from the previous series and how things in their lives have evolved

What a way to start with Harleys books! Woooo wee, this was a 5 star suck you in kinda read, but don't make the mistake I did and start here ,start with the reapers mc Ravenswood because it gives context .Ray is who I wanna be when I grow up! She's a boss! I was consumed with this! The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat! I absolutely loved the love Ray had for Tali and would stop at nothing to protect her!

This was the first book I’ve read by Harley Raige and I was immersed in a fast paced, unhinged but great story . It was well written and flowed from beginning to the cliff hanger end. Another amazingly well written book by Harley Raige. The character interactions, plot, and spice are chef’s kiss. I would recommend reading the Reapers MC series first since this does have spoilers. Can’t wait to read Book 2!
