The art and overall feel are a 6 out of 5 - it's nice to pick up what is, essentially, a training manual, and be encouraged and excited throughout reading it by the colorful and dynamic illustrations. Layout, too, is pretty great - though the handwritten text can be slightly hard to (easily) parse, the book is full of references and examples and page numbers to seek out for more info.

The theme, too, is special - I have too many trad fantasy rpgs in my collection, and it's cool to see someone melding together so many disparate but exciting ideas so fluidly. I do wish there was more lore and backstory for this original world: The section on the area's main city does a good job setting up the factions and ideas that make it tick, but there's so much room here for more. This is not a true detriment to some GMs, but I would buy a second boom of lore to fill out my campaign.

The rules are straightforward, and take enough from existing games to easily pick up. I'm interested to try them out - nothing too revolutionary here, but there are a few cool twists that make TTG unique - gun reload system, attack/defense system, etc.

The one place I felt I wanted more was in the two free adventures at the back of the book. They are written in a slightly confusing way, and leave a lot of questions for the GM. These adventures and the overview of the game's main city-state are written in a personal, conversational way that might be improved with some formality/function of formatting from OSR modules. In the end though, this is a small complaint - it just means more colorful paint on the walls to play with, if not a distinct starter adventure.
