A corporation controls the portal that leads from Earth to the land of Lost Eden. They intend to exploit the incredible richness of that world.
But there is a small team on the other side, fighting to survive against incredible odds. Nearly everything they meet tries to kill them. The members of that team have different ideas about what should happen with Lost Eden.
But there is a seemingly ancient monk named Tokin who holds the secret to everything.
With the portal to Earth seemingly closed, will the team be able to find a way home, or will they truly be stranded, marooned, exiled?
Exiled is the third and final book in the Lost Eden trilogy and will be released in audio by Podium Publishing, narrated by Johnathan McClain.
The Lost Eden series has kept me hooked since I first read the sample of book number 1, immediately purchased the book and couldn't put it down, and then that continued into book 2 and book 3 over a few weeks of travelling (they saved me from some boring plane trips). The first two books were definitely the strongest, and the majority of book 3 was also up there, though the fantasy element of introducing dragons and goblins got a little weirdly, but it worked in the end. I'm very disappointed now there's no book 4, whilst the ending leaves things open for more to come, the author seems adamant there won't be more. It's a real shame, I loved the series, the setting, the characters, and the writing style. It keeps you hooked, and in that "just one more page" mindset.
If you're looking for a dino-ish survival thriller that keeps you turning the page, give this series a read you won't be disappointed - until it ends! If you read this Shawn, please write another!!
This was a great ending to the Lost Eden trilogy. I really enjoyed the whole series arc. The story was exciting and fast paced, it moved along very nicely. There were a lot of different characters that were easy to root for including the entire ensemble group. There were many characters lost, including one at the end that was very sad. I really enjoyed the story. It was different and unique. I kind of took one half star away at least because the last third of this book had too much fantasy and not enough sci-fi. I would love to find other stories with such a fun unique premise.
Shawn Inmon has done it again! Exiled is full of nonstop action, great characters, and a story that grabs you from the first chapter. I really enjoyed the mix of adventure and emotion—just when you think you know where it's going, another twist keeps you turning the pages. If you like stories about survival, rebellion, and resilience, this one won’t disappoint. I’ve read several of Inmon’a books and I live them all! Great character development.
I’m a bit of a Shawn Inmon fanboy and love all of his books, but this one was special. Not only did it tie up the loose ends of the first 2 (also wonderful) books, but it surprised and delighted me by bringing back some previously memorable characters. If you’ve never read any of Shawn’s books, you will be in for a treat. If you have, you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to read the first 2 books in the series first.
I read each of these as they came out. I don’t usually read time travel but this really got my attention and I read each one as long as I could every day until I finished. What a fantastic adventure there’s really nothing these books don’t cover and Exiled was over the top great !! I truly hope there is another book in this series, but I’m so very glad I found Shawn Inmon . I highly recommend this book and this series . 5+ Stars
A solid conclusion to Lost Eden trilogy that went to places that I did not anticipate, but still connected to the Shawn Inmon worlds ("Imnonverse" as he calls it). While this is the last book in the trilogy, the author left open the door to a future story set in Lost Eden (or in the other places we go on the journey of this novel), but the author admits that he does not yet have a book in mind with these characters.
It really went off the rails towards the last quarter of the book when they went through the portal and ended up in bizarro world. And then, to kill off one of the better characters at nearly the very end. Really?! All in all, it was a great series that was kind of ruined by the weird and mediocre ending.
Love love love! Such a cool ending but I also didn't want it to end. There was terrible sadness near the end too. What a gigantic imagination the author has and so much intriguing action and I had no idea where it was all going. I'm so sad its over. Love, love, love!
I went into this series grudgingly lol. I was thinking okay it can’t be as good as the Alex Hunt series. I was wrong. I think this was an even better series. Lots of action, very interesting and intriguing things to wrap your mind around. It just sucks you in! Loved it!
I absolutely loved the creativity in the worlds and the characters in this book. The tie-ins from the other books were really creative and interesting. I hate to see this trilogy end.
Excellent story-telling by my favorite author. I'm very glad to have read Kradak between Middle Falls installments. It's made this story that much more enjoyable.
The book kept me engrossed in the story line, constantly wanting more. I loved the characters and even felt sad when something happened to one of them. I want more….
As I’ve said in my previous reviews, I really enjoyed this series. It was well built and the characters well written. I was sad to see some of them not make it to the end. Great writing, can’t wait to see what comes next!
The series overall was entertaining. I like this author and his writing style. This last book was a bit off the deep end, especially near the end. A bit anticlimactic.
Great third book in series. Exciting read throughout the entire series. Fantastic portal travel made exciting! Considering there were 3 books, I was unsure it could hold my interest through all 3 but it did!
I love the characters and the story was fast-paced and intriguing. I hated to put it down. If you like fast-paced adventure and interesting characters, check out this series!
The whole trilogy has been a great read. Lots of action and adventure!! First time reading this author’s work and I can’t wait to read more. A must read!!
Entire series grabbed me and wouldn't let go until all 3 books were completed. Looking forward to reading continuing adventures of the Lost Eden survivors.
