An interesting play about Peter George, his three wives and his daughter. Peter George dies in a plane crash and his three wives, Beatrix, Lindsay and Poppy, best friend, Alan Duffy, and Ana, his daughter, come together to arrange his funeral.

The play covers three decades of social change, from the student protests of the late 1960s, to the changes in the role of universities from the 1960s to the late 1990s.

This play was a box office hit in Australia.

This book was first shortlisted for the 2001 Miles Franklin award.
