In a futuristic post-apocalyptic world that Vielee has created he takes you on a wild ride as the multiple plot lines/twists keep you glued to the pages and on the edge of your seat. The characters are complex and have depth, as well as attributes and flaws making them feel real to the reader. In book 3 we are introduced to new characters who are equally multifaceted with their fates entangled in the web of the story. The world building is outstanding and intricate, and just when you think you have it all figured out Vielee adds new dimensions.
War is on the horizon, civilization is on the brink of collapse, worlds are about to collide, and our hero and his deadly sidekick are a world away facing their own death and destruction while trying to save their world, and exact revenge on a ruthless foe. At the same time, our hero’s soul mate and love of his life struggles to survive in a hostile world. The center of Tartican faith falls igniting riots and destruction, and the rise of lawlessness. A once peaceful civilization becomes what they most despised. A previous assassination attempt failed, but is later successful. A leader is murdered and the assassin is…sorry, no spoilers.

Salvation Bleeding picks up right where Book Two ended and grips you from the first page, with Reyne facing down the Devil's Blacksmith and Tartica collapsing. Then, as all the complex plot lines introduced in the first two books converge, a series of twists add even more complexity. These surprises topple leaders and foment war, take the reader back in time, and add to what's known about the Soul Stone. You think you understand what's going on, and then another huge twist takes the book to a higher and even more complex plane. The climax throws you for a loop as does the final page! Well done!

This was a strong third entry in the Utopia Falling Saga series, it had that element that I enjoyed from the previous three books. The fantasy element worked well overall and was everything that the world built. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and can't wait for more. R.C. Vielee has a strong writing style and am excited for more.
