They took everything. Now she'll burn their kingdom to get it back.
When the king's soldiers tear Arden's sister from their home, her world doesn't just shatter—it ignites. Hidden in the woods by her sister's desperate sacrifice, Arden witnesses the unthinkable and makes a vow that will either save her family or destroy them all.
The Dragon Empire is crumbling, but Arden doesn't care about kingdoms or politics. She cares about one getting her sister back. Even if it means facing the man eating shadow wraith. Even if it means trusting a charming prince who should be her enemy and his bonded dragon with a heart of gold.
But Arden has something the king doesn't expect—a fire inside her that refuses to be extinguished. And when that fire awakens something ancient and powerful, she'll discover that some bonds can't be broken.
Rebecca Pratt is a self published author. She lives in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Coming from a teaching background Rebecca loves delving into stories and sharing them with others.
She has loved books her entire life, she began writing short stories in primary school and her love for writing grew from there.
Rebecca married her husband James in October 2015 and welcomed their son Spencer into the world in 2018.
In 2018 just seven months after her son was born she sadly discovered that she had breast cancer.
Searching for a distraction she began writing 'Another Wolf's Mate’ as way to escape her world and delve into the world of fantasy romance, wolves and mates.
This is a fast quick read, slow burn fantasy! With dragons! It’s a story with magic, mayhem and creatures.
I adore the way Rebecca writes she has this beautiful style and is a wonderful storyteller. We follow Arden on her journey of growth, determination and learning.
I am intrigued to see where this series will go!
I love that the dragons have personalities.
Very much slow burn on romance side but I like that!
Keen for the next instalment!
4.5 🌟

"You are not just a mere decoration, Arden...you are a warrior, fierce and determined."
There is so much to love about this book, from the elemental magic and mythical creatures to the instalove with a handsome Prince, who comes with his very own Dragon.
Arden is kind, caring, and spirited. With a will that is as strong as iron, she's an amazing FMC that you can't help but love.
Vaskira is the definition of a golden retriever book boyfriend. His adoration is evident from the moment he lays eyes on Adren, and you can't help but root for them to be endgame.
With an ending that leaves you on the edge of a cliff, there's no telling where this story is going. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book.
When Arden's mother died giving birth to her and her dad left to fight in the wars she is brought up by her two older sisters sulli and eve. But when the girls go to market to sell their wares everything changes when the king orders that all child bearing age women to be taken. Sulli helps the girls escape into the forest but gets them to keep going while she holds the guards off. After facing perils eve and Arden find themselves with a unlikely saviour. Although eve believes sulli is gone for good Arden can't accept it so once she gets some training she goes out on her own to find sulli who she can't accept is gone and we find ourselves on a journey of new friends dragons like puppies and new loves all while Arden searches for her sister.
Earthbound Allure is a refreshing and unique fantasy adventure that captivates from the first page. Rebecca Pratt weaves an intriguing tale where Arden, our determined protagonist, embarks on a perilous journey to rescue her sister. The premise is gripping, making it a quick yet immersive read that leaves you eagerly anticipating the next chapter in Arden’s journey. I can’t wait to see where Rebecca Pratt takes the story in future books, as Earthbound Allure sets a solid foundation for an exciting series ahead.
When Arden set off to market with her sisters she could not have known where the day would take her..
Escaping capture she runs with the other women from the village, however her sister is taken. Cue training montage and Arden sets off on a rescue mission.
No rescue mission is complete without an animal sidekick ... and Arden doesn't get lumped with a squeaky chipmunk or a whiny donkey ... BUT FREAKING DRAGONS! And there may be some romantic action on the side there to keep us wanting MORE!
Can't wait for book 2!
Slow burn, magic, fantasy, DRAGONS, quest, 1st person POV,
Love, love, love this book, for a smaller book, it has so much happening. With dragons, abduction, horrible beasts, and one brave woman who will do anything for her family, we get a thrilling story that will captive you and have you questioning everything that happens.
Will these sister find their way back to each other, or are they lost forever....
I can not wait for book two!!!
❤️ not spicy yet... but we get a bit of romance and a little tension.
This is an enchanting slow burn, romantasy story. While the romance is slow, the story is fast-paced and hooks you right in. Also, dragons and magic. The dragon personalities are great. I really look forward to continuing this series.
Just finished reading this and loved it. Love Arden’s journey so far and love it being different to her other books. The story features a magical world where dragons and other supernatural beings play a significant role. It leaves a cliffhanger at the end and me wanting more each time.
All you really need to know about this book is that there are dragons! I mean, who doesn't love dragons? And dragons with personalities, too!
Here we have a new series by Rebecca Pratt, and one I really, really enjoyed. We are taken on a fast-paced adventure along with Arden as she embarks on a journey to save her eldest sister who has been taken from her.
This is a slow burn fantasy at it's finest and I cannot wait to see where Rebecca goes with the story.
