A Perfect Match Set Three: Modern Match-Maker Romance

Rate this book
What to do when you're ready for happily ever after but finding Mr. Right is a losing battle? Hire a match-maker!

Put down a deposit, answer some questions, recruit a few friends to help her find your perfect match, and skip to the good stuff!

So why does this still feel like falling in love the old-fashioned way?

Modern match-maker extraordinaire, Raven Swann, is back, making sure her clients find happily ever after and settle for nothing less than true love-- with a little help from their friends.

Set 3 contains books 11-15 of the Modern Match-Maker Romance Collection. Every book is a stand alone story that follows one couple to their happily ever after with no cheating, no cliff-hangers and very little drama. The series can be read in any order.

A Sensible Widowed unexpectedly in her 20's, Tiffany doesn't expect— or want— to fall in love again. She hires professional marriage broker, Raven Swann, to find her a marriage of convenience. A "sensible arrangement" to provide companionship and help with the bills.

If Tiffany expects her new marriage not to involve true love and toe-curling passion, however, she hired the wrong match-maker. Raven Swann believes in love and she doesn't take her job lightly.

A New My first resolution for the new year? Find a husband! I can't take another year of babysitting nieces and nephews while everyone else celebrates the holidays together when I want my own family so badly. Watching my bad boy baby brother propose to his girlfriend at our family Christmas dinner is the final straw. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but this is the last holiday season I do alone.

A Sure It's bad enough that I'm spending my 29th birthday alone, drunk, and single— I hardly need everyone rubbing it in. From the lady at the corner store to my own grandmother, it seems like everyone's given up on me ever finding a husband and having a family— except a modern day match-maker I find online.

A Solid Another dating nightmare has Vanessa wishing there was a way to let her besties handle the elimination process so she can skip straight to the happy ending.
Jack is jealous of his buddy's family but he's lost interest in the dating game.
Hiring a professional match-maker seems like a solid plan, but will they miss out on their happily ever after when a close friend disagrees with their match?

A Promising It's a cheesy trope from a bad movie, but Carissa's not about to settle for a temporary marriage of convenience to help Hunter meet the terms of his father's will. When a change of circumstance convinces her to take the deal, their wedding night turns out all too real. Is it coincidence? Or was their match-maker onto them from the beginning?

Rocklyn prefers her romance reads to be short, cute, and dirty; low drama and a little over-the-top: extra points for growly, alpha heroes with beards.

Originally from the farms and ranches of Central California, Rocklyn grew up in the lap of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Those small towns will always be home, but Rocklyn was born to roam.

These days she spends her days exploring America's back roads in her camper trailer, writing steamy happily-ever-afters while looking for internet.

And what do I read? Total smut, the kind with over-the-top chemistry that gets characters to lose their minds and their clothes as soon as possible-- they can work out the kinks on the way to happily ever after later!

I read each of the books in this series when each book was first released. I enjoyed them then and enjoyed rereading them now...

A SOLID PLAN:
It's been a hot minute since we were last graced with a Raven Swann Modern Match-Maker Romance and it has been much too long! I have sorely missed these books.

Independently, Jack and Vanessa both just want to be happily married and with kids without having to go through all of the work and frequent disappointments that come with dating. Can their matchmaking teams directed by Raven bring them together in order to find their HEA? "A Solid Plan" is another sweet and slightly saucy tale by author Rocklyn Ryder that is worthy of escaping for a night amongst its pages. This book is full of likeable, fun characters who will steal your heart. A definite must read!

A SURE BET:
I am a huge fan of author Rocklyn Ryder's Raven Swann Matchmaker Series. I have read them all in order of release and eagerly await each new release. "A Sure Bet" is number 13 in the series. While it is not my favorite book in the series, it should definitely be read and enjoyed. It is short and sweet, with just the right touch of angst and chemistry heat to keep me entertained and engaged in the storyline. My only critique is that the main characters Kat and Jon seemed hollow at times. They needed more substance and to have more of their dialogues together shared with the reader. The ending seemed a tad rushed. They went from questioning how the other felt for them to being madly in love in 2.4 seconds. More dialogue between the two breaking down the thought processes which occurred during those 2.4 seconds would have been helpful. Overall though, an enjoyable read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series!

A NEW RESOLUTION:
I am a HUGE fan of Rocklyn Ryder's Raven Swann Arranged Marriage series. It is refreshing to have a plot that segues completely away from today's popular tired ol' tropes of billionaire's hooking up with virgins, becoming an unplanned baby daddy and then 10 years later getting a second chance at love when they unexpectedly run into each other. Been there, read that a million times. Instead, bring on those struggling to find love via today's "conventional" methods and who turn to a marriage matchmaker to find their forever love. I have read every book in this series, have loved each and every one of them, and have found myself wishing that Raven Swann truly existed for myself and all of my friends who are still floundering in the dating sea.

This Raven Swann novel was slightly different from the previous works. It gave the reader more of a glimpse into how Raven and her assistant Jessica go about finding ideal matches. All the frustration, excitement, and heartbreak that goes into making sure that a couple are compatible for more than just "right now". They need to be compatible forever. Reading Blake and Courtney's story unfold, feeling their anxiety and the apprehension that each felt as they questioned whether trusting others to choose their forever and ever partner was truly a smart decision-- this made for entertaining reading! The story was heartfelt; the emotions were real; characters were relatable. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and all books in the Raven Swann Arranged Marriage series. Nothing but entertaining reading to be found here!

A SENSIBLE ARRANGEMENT:
I love that the reader gets to know Nathan and Tiffany's current situation, how they came to be there and a little bit about their personalities long before we learn anything about their ages and physical appearance. It felt like a delicious drawn out tease.

The reader also received a rare glimpse into Raven's own marriage with her husband Duncan, and Raven herself plays a significant role in this book. It is wonderful to get to know Raven a bit more with each book published.

The characters in this book were developed beautifully: slightly insecure and broken yet yearning to fill the void in their hearts and lives that only finding one's true love can fill. The fact that Nathan and Tiffany are not at all as they first seemed was a joy to unveil with each page read.

As always, I am eager to read more from this author and this very unique series. In a time of cookie cutter tropes: billionaires, virgins, rock stars and secret baby daddies, the modern match-maker romance idea is truly a breath of fresh air.

A Sensible Arrangement
I adore the Raven Swann romances. I know exactly what I’m going to get from them – maybe just not ‘how’ I’ll get it. They’re always sweet and funny, with enough sparks to short out my reader. And this story of Nathan and Tiffany is no different. In fact, it added an element of heartbreak in the form of Tiffany’s widowhood at a very young age. I also really appreciated that the couple in this story aren’t in the first flush of youth. They’ve both got some miles and experience under their belts, yet neither is especially jaded about love. I love seeing Raven do what she does best, and I can’t wait until we can do it all over again.
A New Resolution
Every time I come back to this series, I remember how enjoyable and funny these stories are. I loved Blake and Courtney’s friends and families. They’re such wonderfully quirky characters, they regularly ran away with the story. And the chemistry between our leading couple was so entertaining to watch in action – especially seeing the first impressions they have of each other. I adore this series and never want to see it end.
A Sure Bet
I love the Modern Match-Maker books. There’s just something that tickles my fancy about trusting the people that know you the best, that love you the most to choose the person to spend the rest of your life with. I really liked Kathleen and Jonathon. There are some delightfully angsty moments between them. My only real complaint is that their story is over so quickly. We could have dug deeper into those sore spots and gotten an even richer story for it. I can’t wait to read even more in this series.
A Solid Plan
Vanessa and Jack are both at the points in their lives where they’re ready to settle down, but a string of terrible prospects has them on the verge of giving up. Can the Raven Swann agency make the difference in their romantic lives they’re looking for? I love everything about this series. The books are always spicy but just so very sweet. This story is pretty low angst, but what there is, is very realistic. I think a lot of us can relate to that obsessive hamster wheel of doubts running in the back of our minds. I kind of don’t care what comes next in the series, I already can’t wait to get my hands on it.
A Promising Beginning
I really don’t think there’s anything about this series that I haven’t loved. This time, the author managed to sneak a fake marriage of convenience past our esteemed matchmaker. But did she really? I had so much fun falling in love with Hunter and Cari as they (inevitably) fell for each other. They walked into the arrangement thinking they were doing all the wrong things to get the right outcome in the end. I have no clue what the author has up her sleeve for us next, but I can’t wait to read it, whatever it is.
I received a complimentary advance copy of this book from the author.

A Sensible Arrangement
Another great marriage broker story. Tiffany was widowed just after her wedding, and now she wants raven to find her a marriage partner. She isn't looking for love. Nathan is looking for a successful marriage after his broke up a long time ago, making him a weekends only Dad to his daughters. This matchup is a change from the earlier books as it involves an older couple. Can Nathan win Tiffany's heart when he is competing with a love that never had a chance to die.

A New Resolution
Courtney and Blake have both watched the other members of their families marry and start families, and they decide that they want a partner as well. Both go to Raven Swann so she can find their perfect match, despite Courtney's best friend's forebodings. Both of their first choice partner arrangements fall through. Can Raven work her magic?

A Sure Bet
Kathleen is 29 and she wants marriage and a family. She has had no luck finding a partner on her own so she goes to Raven Swan for help. Jonathon has decided that he wants a wife and family, but his ex wasn't the right person. He goes to Raven Swan as well. Their friends decide that they are a good match, but will this work?

A Solid Plan
Neither Jack nor Vanessa have had any luck finding their life partners so they both go to Raven's matchmaking service to find their partners. Each chose their part to help pick the right person, but why did the wife of Jack's best friend have reservations? Jack and Vanessa seem to be taking getting to know each other rather slowly, which leaves Vanessa wondering if Jack is backing out of their relationship. Will this relationship be a Raven fail?

A Promising Beginning
Hunter has to be married to take over the family business. He goes to matchmaker Raven who finds him Carissa who has been on Raven’s books for years, waiting for her perfect match. But Hunter just wants someone to help him meet the requirements of his father’s will. Will Raven manage to make a perfect match?

These are a set of feel good arranged marriage/romances from Raven Swann's matchmaking service. A light and enjoyable read.

A Sensible Arrangement
OMG its been a long time since Rocklyn Ryder has put out a Raven Swann Arrange Marriage book and it was worth the wait.

I received this Advanced Readers Copy and couldn't wait to read it. Once it was downloaded I started reading and didn't want to put it down but had to get some sleep but as soon as I could I was back reading it until the very last word.

Tiffany and Nathan's story was so good. Nathan was older and wiser and knew it was time to love again after his daughters went off to college and no longer visiting him.
Tiffany wanted marriage again but not love since she lost her one true love but didn't count on Raven finding her a man that can be her 2nd true love. To read and see how these two come together and make it work was like magic.

All I can say is great job Rocklyn and welcome back and can wait for the next book in the Raven Swann series.

A New Resolution
I love reading Rocklyn Ryder's matchmaking books. I read them in one setting cause they are that good. Blake and Courtney story is no different.

A Sure Bet
This was a quick fun loving love story. The main characters both getting close to their 30s and want to find love and have a family but unable to find it on their own so they hire Raven a matchmaker to help them. But my favorite character was Grams, she had me laughing and and made me think of my Grandma.

A Solid Plan
Jack and Vanessa hired Raven Swann to help them find true love along with three members of each of their family/friends. Their pick was right on Jack and Vanessa chemistry was off the charts and didn't take long to figure out they were soul mates. Great short story.

A Promise Beginning
Oh my this was HOT!!! Quick story read with alot happening but flows so well. Two people using Raven Swann Matchmaking service. One looking for love another looking just for a wife so he can gain his company.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is set three of the Modern Matchmaker series and contains books 11-15: A Sensible Arrangement, A New Resolution, A Sure Bet, A Solid Plan and A Promising Beginning. This series was my first introduction to the author way back when they were first released but it’s FAR from the last books I’ve read of hers! Rereading them again I was reminded of the reason I continued following her after the first book: each one is filled with tons of steam, that hot possessiveness and sweet, sweet HEA we’ve come to expect from Raven Swann, that amazing matchmaker, locating for her clients.

Each of the books in the series is awesome on their own but to have so many available in one spot is amazing! 5 Stars for the entire series!!

Match, Set, Third in Series

This is the third book in this series of finding your future with the assistance of a marriage broker. All have happy endings, but not without some angst, miscommunication between parties involved, family interventions and distance between partners. All works out in the end for all to get their HEA.
