Terrible. I did not want to pick up this book ever. I wanted to dnf it so bad. It’s poorly written, had some cringy moments and there’s a scene where readers/ fmc are made to believe she’s being sexually assaulted but turns out it’s one of the mmc. That was disturbing, not entertaining/ cute to read and definitely requires a trigger warning.

I feel like this story has potential, but lacks proper editing. The same phrases are repeated 2 - 3 times on a page. Around chapter 31 it almost feels like someone else is writing. The last few chapters felt rushed, and the pseudo-rape scene was a little alarming due to her past trauma. She just killed her father and her mate thought it would be a great time to chase a panicked omega down to fool around while remaining completely ominous. And of course, the "surprise" pregnancy that was sooo heavily hinted at halfway through the book. Nothing wrong with a surprise pregnancy, but it felt like an afterthought. Like the author did a re-read of the book before writing the last chapter and remembered she hinted at a pregnancy so she had to write it in.

DNF @ 13%- marketed as an Omegaverse, but it didn’t say it was a SHIFTER book. I’m not in the mood for shifters right now and I was irked that nowhere did it say it was a shifter book.

GREAT!! Buuut…

Absolutely loved this standalone book! The beginning dragged me in and held me under and I enjoyed almost every second of it. It was towards the end that we saw some problems. It specifically started in chapter 33. There was a large part of the chapter that was repeated. Like the author wrote down a rough draft, and then rewrote it but then forgot to delete the first draft. After that, it was kind of like everything after that wasn’t proof read. There were spelling and grammar errors. Such things like accidentally referring to one of the guys as “her” and instead of spelling mother’s it was spelt “other’s”. I re-read that part a couple of times to make sure that was what the author actually meant to put down. Rain’s name was accidentally spelt as Rhain at one point in time too. It felt as if the author was in such a rush that she accidentally forgot to look over everything after chapter 33. Which is an understandable human error. I would love to see it fixed so people can properly bask in the entirety of this amazing novel. It is a standalone and could be a wonderful one at that.
And sorry, !!SPOILER!! after this;
The last chapter/epilogue, felt forced and out of place at the very end. It was a cute and wholesome wedding like scene where the bond is cemented in a ceremony, but it kind of threw me when she started referring to herself as their Luna due to the accepted bond, and then the howling in celebration at the end. I feel like that’s something that should be reserved for a shifter romance rather than your non-shifting omega verse novel. As well as the referral to baby’s or young ones as pups? Leaning towards or more shifter romance heavy vocab rather than a simple omega verse one. Anyways, that my opinion on the story and don’t let it stop you from reading it. It truly is a great book, it just needs some fine tuning.

Good start, didn't care for ending
1. Dont judge this book by the cover.
2. Real good world building. Elysia is strong and broken. Frightened and flighty
3. The beginning of the book had me hooked, but the end a started to get cheesy quick "put your pups inside me" 🤦🏻‍♀️
4. Omega verse, no shifting, knotting
5. She's a Virgin and loses her virginity in the hallway at an event that incites major PTSD. She doesn't even act like a virgin. I mean how can u just stand up and take it like that. Then her and kael do it for the first time, Mind you her 2nd actual intercourse and she's riding him like a pro I don't get it.
6. At first she's all I can't trust you, then literally out of nowhere she's all I can't live without you.
7. Elysia was a very strong and determined omega. Loved her. Second half of the book she was needy and cringy.
8. Overall good book. I stayed up all night reading it. The dynamics of her past and the 3 alphas was awesome! The plotline was great. Except for the one random scene where Kael acts like he's SAing her. That part literally didn't need to be put in the book. Actually made me think less of Kael when he was and still is my favorite alpha.

~ low angst

All around this is a pretty safe book. The blurb is misleading- Darius never hates her, she’s only untrusting for a few days and her heat doesn’t happen until the very end.

This story definitely needs another round of editing, lots of word repetition, too much inner narrative and not enough dialogue or relationship building. For a first attempt however it’s not bad, the author shows promise.

I highlighted some inconsistencies and errors with plot in my Notes. Some things just didn’t make sense.

There’s a chase scene mentioned in some reviews, either we read different books or the author removed it (shame- don’t cave to peer pressure lol). This is what I read

“Kael seems to sense how overwhelmed I’m getting. He wraps his arms tighter around me and starts to haul me away. “Come on,” he says gruffly. “Let’s get away from all of this.” He drags me to a secluded corner of the property, tugging me behind a tree and gently leaning me up against it”

There’s no chase 😞, no near SA or anything close to it. Too bad, I love a good primal chase scene.

I agree with others the Epilogue seems like it belongs in another world, not the one we read.

Ended up pretty disappointed with this one

Giving this a 1.5 Star after DNFing half way through because it was honestly lacking in a range of areas. From being a Feral Omega, who fought tooth and nail to survive in the hell hole she was in, she became quite submissive quickly with the new alpha pack that bought her. The story feels lightly implied, the entire focus being on her body betrayal dilemma she seems to consistently experience. Then there is the fact that she is apparently a virgin (claimed simply by adding a finger to find out?) Then her and said Alpha get busy out in a hallway at a big event for her first time. Yup, doesn't make sense to me.

The story held so much promise, from the blurbs I had the chance to view to the starting intro that gave in an intense sense of yearning for Revenge, but it quickly became muddled and lacked the character building blocks I was looking for. Sadly this one is a dropped read.

Elysia (FMC) has been classed as a feral Omega by her abusive family after she presented as an Omega. Locked away and near enough tortured to break her but Elysia is any stronger than she is perceived. When she is sold she ends up with 3 Alphas - Rian, Kael & Darius who are more than she believes them to be. All of which have been touched by these Omega auctions and want to help the Omega's that are forced into it.

For me though it's the relationship Elysia has with the guys that I liked. It was a gradual build between all of them because of how untrusting Elysia was towards them which was understandable with everything that she'd been through. Some good plot twists and characters that I really liked. A good read.

Good story, written poorly

I love the characters and story in this book but the author either rushed it or is not very talented. The story jumped forwards quite a bit and was sometimes repetitive. The characters' reflections were the most repetitive instead of written eloquently or with a deep feeling. I think the book could have been much longer to allow room for said characters emotions and pasts to shine through, create more depth and more general detail in the story building. If you don't mind stories being flat, it's a good read. But it could have been amazing from a different author who knows how to weave life and emotion into characters and worlds.

This was … not good. I read for fun not for judgement but even I couldn’t follow all the random plot changes with no explanation.

I also don’t care about typos but in one of the later chapters the auction is about to start and then without warning the chapter completely starts over again? And all the same things happen again but it’s like we got the rewrite version and they forgot to remove the first draft.

Also the scene where one of the MMCs convinces her she’s about to get r*ped by a STRANGER!?! Insane and unnecessary

DNF - 16%

I had no idea that this would have some weird magic no one ever seen before... I probably would have kept reading but the magic didn't just come out of left field.. it was also explained poorly leaving the reader confused about what was ACTUALLY happening. So just a warning for anyone else since there didn't seem like much warning for it.

Also... the alphas "save" her and tell her she isn't their prisoner but then puts on a tracking anklet she can't take off an locks her in her room. What? Are they the protagonists or antagonists?

I loved it

This was a unique take on the OV. In the end, I feel like the author put too many shifter aspects into the book when 90% was non-shifter. I could get over them but, it felt very unnecessary to throw them in. Like the Luna title wasn't used until the very end. Never talked about either. I don't mind when they call babies pups, many OV does that. Then when she howls with the others at the end too. It was kinda confusing why it was in there. Great book otherwise.

I didn’t finish the book. I read about 75% and then I started to get bored. The overall pacing in the book is weird. In the beginning I liked the development between the FMC and the MMCs, but after a while everything happens so fast (e.g she starts talking about getting pregnant, while she has sex with Darius for the first time). Also the magic powers are not properly explained and overall the story doesn’t have much depth.

I was disappointed that the knot part and the underlying instinct was the only real wolfy part we got. There was no shifting which I feel is very disappointing. The ending felt kind of thrown together and rushed. Especially bringing in the sister without any real explanation. Overall the story was a nice read and the concept was definitely a good one.

This had potential to start, and then it came crashing down.
I got bored of the story and writing and very much considered a DNF. I pushed through and finished.
I now think that I was no better of finishing this book.
A lot of the elements seemed haphazard at best, but by the end of the book, they had completed un woven.

Great alt omegaverse

Very well written. It's the omegaverse with a twist of powers. I loved the world building, and the power struggles. The spice was just chef's kiss and overall.I had a fantastic time reading this

Feel like I've read this Omega story over and over again. Nothing really new. Would have appreciated a pregnancy warning in content triggers since I try to avoid books with that trope. All the "breed me alpha" stuff grossed me out.

editing needed

I don’t usually leave a review, but fair warning dear reader this needs editing. I only made it 20% of the way through before the inconsistencies overwhelmed me. Love the idea of this book, just needs to be cleaned up by a caring and detailed editor.

Story 2.75⭐️ Spice 2.5🌶️
The premise of this book is good, the execution was not. It’s a very different take on Omegaverse. It has a lot of mistakes and inconsistencies. Sometimes it was a challenge to figure out what the author was trying to convey.

needs a little love

Definitely could use an editor. The story line is flawed and tends to be very repetitive. With a little tweaking, the flow would vastly improve the book as a whole.

Good

The story of a tortured omega finding safety security love and family. I enjoyed how the spice scenes were danced around instead of being super graphic. Don't get me wrong I love that too, but this was almost sweet.

good book

This is a good book with an interesting storyline. It left something to be desired, though I can’t put my finger on it. It dragged for me and I had a hard time finishing it.

This book was amazing, I love to step out of dark romance and into a tale of love and conquering villain’s. I love a cozy romance with a feisty fmc and a group of guys who love her and would do anything for her.

2.5 stars: Usually I find the romance good and plot bad in these books-- for this one, I found the plot better than most omegaverse books but never totally fell in love with the relationship building.

DNF. I tried really hard to finish it. I got 83% of the way through and just couldn’t do it anymore. I don’t even care how it ends. I was interested at first but the writing was all over the place. It felt like a first draft, not a final edit.
