I may have reached my breaking point. As if trying to graduate from a school for supernaturals isn’t stressful enough, my relationship status has gone from complicated to a straight-up dumpster fire.
Oh, and the Bloodletter has decided to drop a bomb of epic proportions on us all...
Then again, when has anything at Katmere Academy not been intense?
And the hits just keep coming. Jaxon’s turned colder than an Alaskan winter. The Circle is splintered over my upcoming coronation. As if things couldn’t get worse, now there’s an arrest warrant for Hudson’s and my supposed crimes―which apparently means a lifetime prison sentence with a deadly unbreakable curse.
Choices will have to be made...and I fear not everyone will survive.

Three books into the Crave series, and I’m officially hooked. Tracy Wolff has managed to pull me deeper into her world with each installment. While the series began with undeniable Twilight vibes, it quickly evolved—book three especially—into something with the complexity and intensity reminiscent of Zodiac Academy (sans all spice), blending supernatural drama and romance.
In Covet, the plot thickens, the world expands, and the characters continue to grow in depth and dimension. The pacing is solid, the stakes feel real, and the emotional arcs mostly hit their mark. That said, one recurring element in this installment might frustrate some readers: the heavy reliance on the miscommunication trope. If you’re not a fan of the whole “I should tell him—no, I shouldn’t” back-and-forth that spirals into unnecessary angst and avoidable conflict, you may find parts of this book challenging.
Graphic Audio's really have a way of turning any book good.
This series is so far fetched and a dumpster fire; yet here I am, listening to it Just for the fact that i love the Voice Actors.
That is the only reason I would give it a 4/5 I think in order to continue the series I need to wait for the rest to come out on GA; because I don't know if I can commit to actually reading the rest.
Grace is a problem for me. Her constant inner dialogue has gotten annoying. Not to mention her panic attacks make her pretty damn weak and pathetic. She is either so giddy about a stupid boy. Or so damn "broken" about a stupid boy. Its not the end of the world losing a boy. All adding to her pathetic and weak character & personality.
Also needing to PULL STRINGS is pretty stupid.
Defintely a YA novel. Not for adults. Especially if youre a heavy reader Like me... Who gets sick of whiny main characters Or bs childish crap drama.
Jaxon's voice is too "old". He sounds like her father or uncle not a relationship. Its also hard to tell the different between Jaxon and Flint. Hard to know which is speaking.
Also, sometimes there seems to be some kind of humming in the background. I thought i was hearing things until seeing others saying this.
ALSO, SO I THOUGHT THEIR MAGIC WAS BLOCKED IN THE PRISON??? SO HOW CAN HUDSON "FADE" DURING THE FIGHT WITH THE TWO GIANTS WITH GRACE??? contradictory much!!??
First October read! Wohoo. And let me tell you, what a book it is!
I’m absolutely in love with this series and this book has me absolutely heartbroken but also healed me in some way in its wholesomeness. 5/5⭐️ 100% this series is absolutely amazing and I will have to get the physical copy too now.
This is the third book and Grace is now forced to battle being mated to Hudson and trying to graduate. But there is something else brewing up behind the scenes, Will graduating be as it seems with the king and queen making a visit? Or is this the point of no return? And who will she choose? Sever the bond with Hudson? Or keep him as her mate?
This book was an absolute amazing read and I loved it. Was so nice having to read now that I’m sick, seriously audiobooks are my best friend. So should you read this? Heck yes!!!
This book was literally on the verge of getting a two star rating, but the last part of the book really had me invested.
I’m not sure how I’m feeling now about Grace and Hudson’s mating bond. I was rooting for them in the last book, I just feel like sometimes an author is not able to keep the chemistry going once they end up being together or confess that they like each other. So that is always my struggle in romance books.
I really liked the last part how everyone was fighting and trying to help each other.
I also enjoyed the moment where Jackson was on the verge of dying and Flint’s mother, who is a dragon, ended up giving her dragon heart up to save Jackson.
We did end up losing Flint’s boyfriend who was Luca although I swear I remember that Flint liked Jackson?
Since I have read three books into this series, I might continue. Overall, not bad.

The false mating bond with Jaxon is severed and Grace learns that Hudson is her true mate. A mission takes their group to the city of giants, the Wyvernhoard festival, the island of The Crone, a brutalizing paranormal prison and the island of the Unkillable Beast. There are many battles and heavy losses. Despite her longing to restore her bond with Jaxon, Grace falls for Hudson. Even though it is not spicy, I really enjoyed the romance and adventures in this novel. I love the Graphic Audio production!
📖 Summary: The tension? Maxed out. The love triangle? Exploding. The stakes? Straight-up lethal.
Grace is DONE playing by the rules — and her powers are starting to agree. Hudson is being peak broody, brilliant, and "I’ll die for you but I’ll also gaslight you" levels of infuriating. Jaxon is spiraling into quiet agony. And the Circle? Corruption, secrets, and ✨death✨ galore.
In this second half:
Epic magical showdowns
A certain trial that will have you shrieking
Hudson’s past comes back swinging
Grace unearths power, purpose, and enough emotional chaos to fuel ten fantasy series
Oh — and did someone say soul bond angst? Because this one delivers with stereo-level devastation.
💖 Character / Audio Reactions:
Grace’s rage voice??? 🔥🔥🔥 Hudson’s velvet menace? Sends literal shivers Jaxon’s quiet heartbreak is like a slow bleed Flint deserves a hug and a spinoff Mekhi and Eden? Lowkey OTP energy And that one character’s betrayal?? Audible heartbreak
✨ Themes that ripped your chest open:
You can’t save people from themselves
Trust must be earned — or it kills you
Sometimes your soulmate is also your greatest threat
Power is pain when wielded without love
🔥 Smut Level: Still fade-to-black technically… BUT THE VOICE ACTING? Absolutely NSFW in tension. The soul bond scenes?? Straight-up sensual sorcery. Every near-kiss? Practically criminal. #SmutTags: #SoulBondSlowBurn #HudsonIsEmotionalForeplay #TrialByFireAndFlirting #BreathlessWhispers #EnemiesToEndGameMaybe #EmotionalClimaxButMakeItMagical
