this is. so. SO GOOD. THE ART TINGLES MY BRAIN IN THE RIGHT WAYS. getting the true nature of this "safehaven" and everyone. leon is SO interesting as a character. we haven't gotten much of him yet but he is so twisted and complex and just everything. the idea of this human testing and what it takes to save humanity. ITS ... AMAZING.

A good sequel ups the stakes and goes bigger than the predecessor, this is one of those good sequels. More action, more character development, and more mysteries.

The scope of the series has now increased and a sort of power system has been developed to fight the aliens now. It seems like this series is going down the path of, “we must save humanity even if we are not by the end.” Which is a great theme in my opinion for this series as it really takes its time to lay out the plot and develop the characters.

Un second tome au rythme bien plus rapide que le premier, qui me laisse un goût de trop peu, d'où ma légère dépréciation par rapport au tome 1. J'aime toujours autant les détails du trait et l'intelligence de la composition. On en apprend plus sur Jéricho, et sur l'univers en général. Un bon twist sur les attentes du lecteur. Vivement la suite !

Ambiance maîtrisée, découpage très bien géré (peu de lectures donnent cette impression que le cerveau recrée les mouvements entre les cases), et un scénario qui, même s'il emploie des poncifs du genre, nous donne envie de tourner les pages.

The pacing is slightly faster and more intense in this volume, with the mystery and shocking surprise. The action part was great, also the drama.
