Eight Steps: A friend to lovers romance by Taylor Sullivan is an easy fun, sweet, sexy story that is entertaining from start to finish. It is a friends to lovers story that will have you laughing along the way at their banter and friendship. Taylor has written characters that are charming and funny, quirky and witty, lovable and sexy whilst a little nerdy on the side. It is a highly entertaining journey on the road to change, discovery and love.
Elliot is tired of being the average guy. A guy that a certain type of woman would not look twice at. And certainly not the woman he has his eye on. He wants to know what type of guys woman notice, so he enlists the help of his best friend and roomie to help him. But what if what he wants has been right in front of him all along?
Fe decides she knows just what her bestie and roommate needs to get his ideal woman but somewhere along the way the lines become blurred. Somewhere along the way a kiss means more than it should. But letting him go is the right thing, isn’t it?
It is heartwarming is a wonderfully written story that I highly recommend reading.

Eight Steps: A Friends to Lovers Romance by Taylor Sullivan is a fun read, with lots of laughs along the way, as I followed this lighthearted and enjoyable read.
Elliot Prescott is a nice guy, a real lovable nerd, who is tired of not getting female attention. He works out, has a great job, he’s nice, reliable, looks after himself, and well presented- so he just can’t figure out why he can never ‘get the girl’. Elliot has a certain woman he’d like to catch the attention of, and has a month while she’s out of town to try to become more of a ‘catch’. He enlists the help of his best friend and roommate, Fe Porto, who suggests that women these days love more of an Alpha male. So, Elliot decides that if that’s what women want, then that’s what he’ll become. Fe comes up with a list of 8 ‘steps’ that Elliot will have to take in order to become the Alpha Male of woman’s fantasies. What ensues is a funny, charming, touching, and highly entertaining romp as these two work their way through the steps.
But what happens when a kiss changes everything? Will these two finally see what’s been in front of them the whole time? Will Elliot get the girl of his dreams? All is revealed in this quirky, witty and original book.
