Lacy Williams wishes her writing career was more like what you see on Hallmark movies: dreamy brainstorming from a French chateau or a few minutes at the computer in a million-dollar New York City penthouse. In reality, she’s up before the sun, putting words on the page before her kids wake up for the day. Those early-morning and late-night writing sessions add up, and Lacy has published fifty books in almost a decade, first with a big five publisher and then as an indie author. When she needs to refill the well, you can find Lacy birdwatching, gardening, biking with the kiddos, or walking the dog. Book 1 ROPING THE WRANGLER Wyoming 1895 Sarah Hansen is a school teacher under the thumb of the School Board Leader & Town Bully. Oscar White steps 7 years out of her past to arrive to train the bully's horse. As a difficult situation comes to head, and 3 outcast little girls are continually hurt, these 2 will have to set aside their differences and work together. And in the process, maybe everyone will find the love and care they desperately need. I really like this author's writing style. The main characters are flawed and a little broken, but not in an ugly, unlikable way. The men are always so caring, despite internal insecurities. The faith feels genuine. Recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Book 2 HER CONVENIENT COWBOY Wyoming, December 1900 Davy and Rose's story. When these two are unexpectedly thrown together in a blizzard, she'll have to learn that not all men are controlling and selfish. He'll learn that maybe God CAN bless him with the secret desires of his heart. Boisterous, big family. Forced proximity. A nameless dog. Ranch life. Bottled emotions. A tender and patient cowboy. Damsel in distress. A happily ever after. Plenty to enjoy in this story. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🐎🐂
Book 3 A COWBOY FOR CHRISTMAS NE Wyoming, December 1900 Ricky and Daisy's story. Two very broken people. She is hiding from the world, a shell of her former self. He's secretly the reason for it, and has other secrets to boot. He's determined to make things right with her. I really like Ricky and how much patience and strength he gave Daisy. I felt bad for all the guilt he carried, even though his brain knew God had forgiven him, he couldn't convince his heart. And he had the worst luck with fires! Also, his Pa, Jonas, is a wonderful man!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🔥🔥🔥
Book 4 CHRISTMAS HOMECOMING December 1914 U.S. Marshall Walt White and nurses Libby Kearney, plus Ida White are in non-stop danger in the tumultuous tale. As they fight to survive Walt and Libby grow closer. Their faith and will to go on is heavily tested. I enjoyed it and cried near the end. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🔫🤠
These books have several typos and a couple of times the author clearly typed the wrong name, but not enough to detract from the intent of the stories.
Recommended.
I purchased this collection of ebooks. All thoughts and opinions are mine alone without expectation or compensation.
I am adding reviews for each story as I go. Completed 12/12/2025
Four love stories will captivate you as you read the terror, unbelievable cold weather and a burning passion which creates the drama in each story. School teacher Sarah Hanson knew horse trainer, Oscar White from her growing up years. This story involves three of her girl students. Good story. …Davy White, cowboy goes to his line shack to winter with his herd. He meets Mrs. Rose Evans, very recently widowed and very pregnant. Good story. …Daisy Richards, trying to live again after an accident that made her loose her right arm. Ricky White, the cause of the accident. Good story. …Walt White, U.S. Marshal meets Libby Kearney, nurse, while taking in a convict. All great stories during the winter season revolving around Christmas time. Actually, I don’t know how I made it through these stories. Even though I read this book over the Christmas week and was in a warm house with a nice warm blanket over me and a hot coffee, I just about froze with all the characters as I read their stories. Brrrr 🥶!
A Christmas Marriage Of Convenience by Lacey Williams is a collection of four Christmas western historical romances and although I enjoyed all of them, especially because Miss Williams, always finds a way to make those who are handicap seem capable something that is very important to this blind reader. When I first read it and with this collection, Sarah and Oscar were my favorite couple and a book I found a few lol moments in, but the story of Walt and Libby, was fraught with tention, and was my least favorite. Especially because Libby let her emotions almost get her and Walt caught too many times, but having it be my least favorite I still enjoyed it and still definitely recommend it)). there’s also the other two stories with Ben and Rose and Ricky and Daisy. every story is sweet, clean and swoon worthy my favorite kind of read.
Loved this book. It included four stories centered around the one family, the White family. I have not read Jonas and Penny’s story but I definitely need to know about the amazing father who raised the four men in this series. I loved that this series touches on faith and love and doing the right things. All four are love stories but they are also about family’s love for one another and about forgiveness. Well written and just the perfect read at Christmas time.
Every story has its difficulties and horrid characters! Each story is very different and interesting issues to be addressed. All have past baggage to address to get to their HEA. The best part, is that they do. Always left satisfied when finished. Ok, maybe would like to know Ida and Tom's outcome, but apart from that, entertaining, challenging, and satisfying.

Fall in love with one of Jonas White's boys and you fall in love with man that will love you and respect you. Each if these four novels delivered on 'what every woman wants in a man.'
I highly recommend any Lacy Williams book(s). There's love everywhere there's a mountain man, cowboy or prodigal.
Lacy Williams is a.very good writer. This set of books have been a pleasure to read. All the characters have different personalities that keep you wondering what will happen next. The last novel that included Libby and Walt, Ida and Tom, I would love see a.book.about Tom turning over a new leaf and he and Ida finding each other again!
I had read all four books before but reading them all together in this box set made them far more enjoyable. A really good way to indulge in Christmas reading!
This is a series of tales of the White family. Each sibling and their adventures in finding the love of their lives. It is exciting and full of their adventures in finding their true loves. It is a fun and enjoyable read.
This is a four-in-one book that I thoroughly enjoyed. The main characters change in each one, but are all connected in one extended family throughout. I enjoyed each story and the way they involved the same family with focus on different members in each one. This is a book I wished could have gone on longer, but the author chose well where and how to end it.
