The name's Chase Cooper, and this is my eighth diary as a 6th grade ninja. After having the worst week of my life, you'd think I'd try to relax and maybe stay out of the limelight, right? Nope! Zoe has me in front of the entire school playing in the Spirit Week Competition that she's set up as the new president of Buchanan. The problem is that Wyatt's playing too, and if he wins, his red ninjas will become stronger than ever before. I've been recruited to keep that from happening, and all I have to do is outlast him, but no matter how hard I play, he keeps on winning. I guess despite all his evilness, the kid has mad game. Oh, and did I mention the Scavengers want revenge? Ah, yup. It's true what they say - the toilet bowl goes deeper than anyone realizes, and I’m the only one that can get to the bottom of it ...that's a saying, right? If it is, then that's way gross.
Diary of a 6th Grade Ninja 8: Spirit Week Shenanigans is a funny thriller that's entertaining for kids, middle school students, and adults.

It was a good read. I didn't like how Naomi wanted to come back just to keep asking him to join and felt like fake apologies and remorse. I called the person who was helping Wyatt but I liked how it ended. And the White Ninja come on! I really enjoyed the end of this book!
In the words of the inimitable Chase Cooper: "lame-oh!" At least this installment teaches a few great lessons about friendship and leadership, but it does so with such lousy grammar and simplistic writing... it feels like some of the personal narratives I've graded from my lower elementary. Shouldn't our kids be reading something that challenges them to greater linguistic skill?
It is spirit week at Bucchan, however, when the main character smells something suspicious, he digs deeper to find out more. In doing so, he uncovers a great surprise.

There are too many jokes though I do like the action. There is also a typo in this book a sentence typo not a word typo. I like ninjas and the rest is amazing
although the spirit week prize was rather harmless to others, when he find out about how Wyatt want to take advantage of it,he tries his best to win and stop Wyatt from taking over
I believe this was an amazing book and I consider and recommend this to people who love to read about a character who never gives up! I give this a 5 star rating.
