The discussions presented in this book are incredibly important and the complex health issues discussed in the interviews by renowned global experts can help us all better understand the scope of these many concerns. From the far-reaching impact of COVID-19, climate change which has led to many new public health problems, women's reproductive rights, gender questions, and even the description of the brown seaweed called sargassum that forms toxic floating mats on the ocean's waters; all moved me to reflect on the perseverance that it takes to work on solutions. I am uplifted by knowing that so many amazing people care for all of us in their fields of public health, medicine, marine biology, women's rights, the science of climate change, environmental pollution, and so much more.
There is a link to each podcast, lots of resources, and organizations to reference if you are interested. I recommend this book because it is very well-organized and easy to read and understand. Also, I was uplifted reading the resumes of the special guests because these are women and men who have dedicated their lives to science and helping to improve the overall health and communication systems within our societies. Wow and thank you.
