What could be worse than an arranged marriage to a vampire prince?
This omnibus contains all three parts of Sebastian and Luna's trilogy in Tethered, Tormented, and Treasured. When Luna is sold into marriage to the Prince of Darkness on her twenty-first birthday, she thinks she knows what to expect. Arranged marriages happen all the time, right? Wrong. No one could have prepared her for the reality of being married to the vampire prince.
Ever since the day he was Made, Sebastian has been living according to Queen Marguerite’s rules. After all, he’s only alive because of her. When she orders him to marry and Bind himself to Luna, a human hailing from a neighboring kingdom, he has no choice. He agrees to the marriage but never expects to feel anything for her.
When their Binding Ceremony goes awry, and they are magically Tethered, everything is thrown into upheaval. Unable to leave each other’s presence, they must learn to live with each other. Or die.
The Binding Sebastian and Luna's Trilogy is an arranged marriage, forced proximity high fantasy romance filled with a morally grey prince, magical bindings, vampires, an evil queen, and an epic love story.
This series is upper YA. There are some instances of violence, language, and mature situations. Recommended for ages sixteen and up.
Elayna Gallea lives in beautiful New Brunswick, Canada with her husband and two kids. They have dogs and cats and enjoy touring their beautiful province whenever they can.
I picked up this trilogy because it came highly recommended, but it let me down. I barely got through the second book. The constant inner monologues just kept repeating the same stuff without moving the story forward. It felt like the author was stretching out the story just to fill more pages. This story had potential but it completely slipped through the authors fingers. Honestly, these books feel more suited for Wattpad than being officially published
I finished the first one and DNFed halfway through the second one If you think the twilight vampires are too sexy, I suggest this book. Also, his personality is liking her and her personality is cosplaying a scientist Also also, if you loved that SJM said mate 89937 times in the acotar series, you’ll love “my wife” given the same amount of times in less pages
one of the best fantasy books I have read in a long time. I'm not saying the world building or plot was intricate or that it's the best writing. just that I really enjoyed it and would never not recommend it lol
Book One (Tethered): Book One in a set of three, Tethered is the beginnings Luna and Sebastian's relationship. If you can call it that.
At first, there is so much... I don't want to call it 'loathing' but it comes close, for one another because of their being different species that it makes things difficult. With Sebastian being a vampire, he sees Luna as a frail, breakable human that he is now going to have to just "keep alive" for the sake of the deal with her family's army. Arranged marriages. They're a difficult thing to deal with! Whereas Luna sees fangs and nothing more, having heard tales of just how horrid "The Prince of Darkness" can be.
Even on their wedding night, with an unplanned "Binding" ceremony going on, she attempts to wield a weapon against him in an effort to keep some semblance of her own strength around her. The problem being he could have easily disarmed her, had he not realized just how charming this notion of her was.
How was he to realize that he'd fall for the spitfire of a woman who had suddenly come to being under his protection? How was he to realize that they would suddenly become tethered as well as bonded, putting them in a whole world of troubles as the distance between them is not allowed to grow past a certain point without prodding them into pain.
What would you do if you couldn't get any true form of privacy with the man or woman you were now both married and bonded to? Would you consider it a gift? Or a curse?
Book Two (Tormented): Book Two has brought this bonded pair to a whole new level. At the end of book one, you'll find that poor Luna had a choice taken away from her that she should have been allowed to make for herself. Unfortunately for her, she was dying, and Sebastien made the choice for her. Now the rest of the decision is up to her, on whether to feed or not in order to actually *survive* the oncoming change, though it seems to feel as though for the most part, she's already there.
More trouble arises with the Queen now that she has been made, and it leads to a lot of drama. Permission was not granted for this "Making", and the Queen sees it as a slight. Not only that, but as a possible way for these two to grow more powerful than she is. At every turn, she questions the loyalty of her made son, Sebastian, warring with him in private over where his loyalty truly lies.
And of course, once he is honest with himself, he realizes that it is no longer with the Queen, but with Luna instead. He has fallen for her and she holds every bit of his blackened heart in the palm of her little hands.
Decisions are mad and other crazy insights come around. Luna's family has been murdered, a fire at the estate to kill off all but the halfling brother who was never at the family home to begin with. Now the search is on for her brother in order to save his life from a sickness that no one can seem to find the cure for.
And over the whole of the journey, new insights come to light, including one very, very intriguing fact that leads to a whole new league of troubles. The possibility of daylight walking while still being a vampire. Can Sebastian trust the words of Fortune Fae? Or that of the old friend who happens to be a priestess? What about the dreams that Luna has that tells her exactly what she is meant to do when she dreams of meeting the Goddess herself?
Book Three (Treasured): This crazy, over the top third part made me go insane!
You know how, for the most part, you can usually tell how something is going to go? At least, I thought I always did. The ending of this part, while certain things were expected, (and I am absolutely thankful for) I also did not see every twist and turn that came about for it.
Our heroes have finally stood up to the Queen and showed her that they would not take being attacked while laying down anymore. Granted, this had to happen due to the fact that the Queen decided to hey, kill them in her own room... but that's not what matters.
I won't give any spoilers. This has become a favorite series of mine and it happened basically overnight, so I can't wait to see what other people say once they get into it. All in all, the whole series is VERY closed door. So don't walk into it thinking that the romance is out there for all to see. There are many mentions of lewd behaviors but they very barely go into specifics. So if that's what you're looking for, you're going to be disappointed. Go into it with your eyes wide open and see it for the drama it is, instead. I know you'll enjoy it!
Well, This is me formally requesting a Vampire Shadow Daddy for Christmas please.
I really liked this book and its the first vampire fantasy I have read for a very long time, the first being Anne Rice's interview with a vampire in the late 1990's.
I loved this book, at first I was completely hooked, the passion and love between Sebastian and Luna was all any romance reader could want, it can get a little much and some readers may be over it by the time of the end of the book, but I liked it.
I love the description of the main characters and I also loved the mouth on luna, we have a lot in common. I hated the queen and when she died I did a fist pump ! Sebastian was a caring and loving Vampire his character wasn't confusing, he falls first which makes this book all the better. I love the way he cares for luna.
The way he asks her to marry him was really heartfelt and the making of her necklace. He really was her pussycat all along.
What I didn't like ......
what I didn't like was the subtle references to what we already knew, things like the slits in the back of garments to allow for wings was mentioned far more than it needed to be. The bound and tethered line, romantic in places in others places just over used.
I also know that Luna's brother was supposed to be special but he didn't really do anything? that part of the story kind of evaded me. He does nothing to help kill the evil queen ? and how did they get rid off the darkness on the land ? how was that resolved ?
Magical creatures mentioned and there was no real reason for them to be ? other than for them to give a cryptic line and fly off.
With all these bits I didn't like I still liked the book but its the reason why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. I will read the rest of the series when I get chance. I Also would like to read the spicy version when its published.

The Binding Chronicles is definitely more YA based, and sometimes the inner monologues felt really repetitive, but I did like the storyline!
A character that stood out to me outside of the MC's, was Phyrra. I have this small hope that her and Marius will end up doing spy things together eventually when he is all grown up and started maturing into his elf heritage.
Luna's character kind of strikes me as naive starting out, but she is also very resilient and carries a lot of inner strength, so there is definitely some respect for her growing pains. She takes on a whole new world when she marries Sebastian, and then her existence is pretty much endangered throughout the entire series. With that being said, Sebastian was also a bit naive in not recognizing the true evil behind the creature who forced his hand to do her twisted bidding. He was very torn between thinking she was insufferably awful, or deranged, and it should never have even been a question in his mind about who was responsible for all the threats to Luna's life.
Queen Marguerite is literally a mad bat, but I honestly thought she would be more devious. I was surprised that she ended up being screwed over by someone playing a long game- but I think that it also makes sense because she's lost her humanity and is going insane, the way some old vampires are said to do, so from that perspective, its not that surprising that things slipped through her fingers in the end. All signs of her downward spiral!
I wish there would have been more details, or adventures, or moments between characters in the story overall, and less monologue. With that said though, it was still a good story. I'm ready to start troubled, and then move into the Ithenmyr chronicles!
First, I’m not sure of the editing that was done on these, but it was atrocious. Constant repetition of phrases, typos, loss of train of thought and a few cases of missing dialogue were obvious. There were even a few instances when the author introduced someone as a vampire and then 4-5 sentences later she was a witch.
Second, all of the characters lacked depth. The main characters had a severe lack of personality and I didn’t feel super invested in either of them. The queens perspective was easier to digest than theirs. There was a lot of back and forth with, do you love me? Yes! Yes I do! But I’m a killer Bella! But you’re a beautiful killer Edward!!! Soulmates! I’m helpless! Save me!
Third. There was some very real attempts at world building that just fell short. Very, very short. At the end of the book a whole dragon shows up! What? Not to mention all of a sudden the bloodthirsty vampires are just chill with public enemies 1 and 2 after the queen dies. Also for an entire persecuted race in these series, there was no human representation after Luna was Made. That was kinda weird. So many lose and pointless ends.
Honestly I should have DNFed this book but I followed through.
I want to say that I have read every single IPB, IHB, and IPC series by Ruby Dixon. A whole series to the tune of 30ish books had a better group of personalities (with the same trope over and over), back stories, world building and representation than this series did.

Luna and Sebastian's love story unfolds as the ultimate tale of good vs evil, triumph over adversity, and love conquers all in the main trilogy that makes up The Binding Chronicles.
My favorite quotes:
“No matter where you are, in this life or the next, on this plane or another, I will never leave you, Luna. I will always fight for you. Always find you. Always be there for you.”
"Words could make you, break you, mold you. A word could give someone life or take it away. They were far more powerful than anyone gave them credit for."
"After an hour of running, I was ready to declare war on all types of exercise as long as it meant I would never have to run again."
“Get angry,” I said, shaping another sphere. “Yell. Swear. Fight back. Defend yourself.” With each word, I threw shadows at her. “I need you to practice because I won’t survive if you don’t make it out of this alive.”
"Your darkness is my darkness. Your shadows are my shadows. Your life is my life. You’re mine.”
Elayna R. Gallea's writing style and story-telling prowess had me hooked from the beginning, and I cannot wait to read the rest of her works!
This had me hooked from the very beginning of the book. I loved the world building and how well the story was written. I had never read anything by this author before, so I was keen to give this a go. It definitely did not disappoint! Luna has been sold into marriage to a vampire prince. I loved how she didn't cower and accepted that this was her part to play in the family. It did take me a hot minute to warm up to Luna, but this is a testament to how well the characters were written because Luna is an 'academic'. She focuses on science and facts. So, she comes across as very clinical and void of emotion at times. With Sebastian, however, she learns to feel. I loved these two together. The banter and chemistry between them was superb. This was descriptive, and I felt myself falling into this story and not wanting to come out! Because this is a YA, the spicy scenes were not as descriptive as i would have liked, but nevertheless, i loved this!
So in a nutshell, you have a love story, the bad Queen and you get some fighting action.. but sadly you don't get the heated description in a heated "Spicy" book.. The scenes are described very minimal, like this "when we come together, it's always fire" but no hot and heavy words of description. If you like that kind of stuff but every other aspect of the book is AWESOME, but I personally like the fire, the heat, the description, the help of imagining the intimacy, the joining. I'm not sure if that makes sense..
Full of potential but fell a bit flat for me. The world building was started and characters were there but a lot of it just fizzled out. Things were mentioned to draw interest and then just didn't amount to anything or were almost forgotten about. There was far too much focus on the feelings of the main characters and then professing their love in their inner monologues than the actual story line. The ending was a bit of a disappointment. Big build up to and they loved happily ever after. But I did get to the ending so that's something. Basically everything that should have been picked up in the editing process was somehow missed.
Luna and Sebastian story will forever be ingrained in my head. The trilogy was captivating enough that I could not stop reading and wanting more to find out what happens next. I’m sad to say that Luna and Sebastian story has come to end (HEA) but also glad to hear that Marius has a book also. This trilogy was a definite good read and I hope to reread it again someday.
Meh. I liked the swapping back and forth with POV between the main characters, but I didn't get a sense of them as concrete, real individuals. The FMC especially had some unrealistic thoughts/actions. The story had some promise, but it failed to drawl me in. I ended up skimming and skipping forward, just wasting time. I'll pass on this author in the future.

Absolutely loved this series! I was immediately hooked by the morally gray vampire who is actually just a cinnamon roll for wife. Although Luna and Sebastian don’t originally get along, you can tell that there are a little sparks here and there. The added tether also adds some much more to the plot of the store! I was on the edge of my seat this entire series. I truly fell in love with how protective and loving Bastian became for Luna especially when it came down to his mother (I’ve never hated a character more in my life until her, she was written so beautifully, but everything about her and how she runs the kingdom irked my soul). If you’re wanting a happily ever after vampire romance i HIGHLY recommend this series!

Ok so let’s start… first book was boring and drags a lot. Second book is started to get better and the action was so good . Also that is where everything gets interesting. Third book was the best and most enjoyable out of the three. I loved Luna she was a headstrong woman who didn’t back down. I was not a Sebastian fan at first, but I came around and I loved him for how he loved Luna.
The story it self was pretty good; the ads had me believing that there was going to be 🌶️ when there was none at all. The ending seemed rushed. Would’ve liked to see more of the dragon and its rider and find out how bastion and luna helped them. Felt like we should’ve seen more of their reign afterwards aswell. The premise was good but I don’t wanna be waiting until 2028 for the obvious lack of spice to be added to the kindle edition
I am absolutely enamoured with this book, true to her rating this is very much a NA, no smut but it alludes to it. The character building is lovely especially Luna’s. To be this has been the perfect book for me to read and finish before the end of the year.
This is truly a beautiful set up to her world and its be such a pleasure to read

I loved this trilogy. Coming off the Fourth Wing/Iron Flame/Onyx Storm hangover, I really needed to read about another shadow daddy, and this DID NOT disappoint. This is a great series for those who want the romance aspect, with the plot, but without all the spicy scenes.
This book is supernatural, vampire/human. enemies to lovers, coming to true self, touch her and die there is a lot of magic, acolytes, dreams from the goddess, bloodlust.
The story itself is great, and the characters were well written. we get different points of views, flashbacks written into the story and a prophecy woven through
I absolutely love this series. Though the physical books did not captivate me as much as the audiobooks, I loved the story. I would have given it 5 stars but I after book 1, I was over the "she was mine and/but I was hers" line and by book 3, I hated the line! LOL. Still, one of the most captivating series that I have read this year.
I love the world building in this book. I didn’t think it was that hard to follow. I love the characters and the journeys that they had together. I also really love the villains perspective. I think it added so much to her character and made her more human instead of a caricature
I loved every moment of this book. This book will take you on great adventures and leaving you at the edge of your sit. When I was reading it felt like I was very much apart of there lives watching them grow and change. I hope the next person enjoys reading it as much as I did.
While I would not say this book is spicy and is a slow burn for their physical relationship while their forced proximity kept them closer than planned. This story hard to put down and the characters were hard to walk away from! I loved following Sebastian and Luna’s story. I love that he fell first and I loved their banter.
The world building is wonderful in this book. The storyline was engaging and interesting, however, it was an extremely slow burn. It’s very much a YR book, and should have been a little shorter. By the end of it, I almost started loosing interest because of all the extra wording.
I heard such good things about this trilogy and it was good but honestly it was kinda predictable and the end was very abrupt and almost rushed. It also could have used more spice but that’s a personal preference!
This wonderful fantasy has a storyline it sticks to over the three books. This makes it very easy to follow. New characters are wrote in to keep it interesting. Unfortunately, foreshadowing leads no suspense or plot twist.
I just needed more. More banter, more detailed secondary characters, more plot. It just lacked...everything. maybe if I were a younger reader it would have been better.
I just finished book two but book one and two I read so fast literally hooked from the beginning. This series is so captivating. Definitely not a lot of spice so it would be considered YA reading but I love these characters and this author. Can’t wait to start booking three!!
This was such an addictive trilogy! I love a good vampire read and this was so so addicting from start to finish. There were so many moments my heart was racing and my nerves were totally shot and I loved every minute of it!
An arranged marriage turned forced proximity story. Cute for a dark romance. I enjoyed the FMC’s & MMC’s chemistry. The mind trip of finding out some allies are enemies, & that some enemies were really just really well hidden allies was a fun surprise!
