Lexi Gardner has spent the past year and a half rebuilding her life after a devastating breakup. Despite her best efforts to heal through fleeting one-night stands and relentless dedication to her flourishing fitness business, she's still haunted by a lingering emptiness.
Just as Lexi thinks she might never find what she's missing, fate introduces an electrifying twist. Liam West, a charismatic and impossibly handsome man, walks into one of her fitness classes, and suddenly he sets her world on a collision course she never saw coming.

Their connection is a complicated web of entanglements—Lexi is the ex of Liam’s close friend, and Liam is the best mate of her former lover. It's a recipe for disaster, but their magnetic chemistry is impossible to ignore. As the intensity of their attraction blazes into an uncontrollable fire, they must confront the emotional turmoil and potential heartbreak that comes with their forbidden romance.
In the thrilling conclusion of the Seasons series, follow Lexi and Liam as they embark on a rollercoaster journey of passion, discovery, and the pursuit of love in the most unexpected of places.
I’ve officially read 2/4 of the the seasons series and I’m frothing at the mouth to finish the other two 😂😮💨
I LOVE a good Billionaire romance. Especially if it has me feeling like IM the main character dating said billionaire 😫 (a girl can dream right!? lol)
This book is a fantastic conclusion to the series, blending romance, chemistry, and closure seamlessly. Lexi and Liam’s connection is electric from the start, reigniting a spark she thought she’d lost after her past with Brandt, even if Liam’s friendship with her ex complicates things.
While the focus is on their steamy romance, there’s an intriguing subplot that adds depth without overshadowing the love story. The drama may be a bit predictable, but the strong chemistry and moments of humor or spice keep it engaging.
This book works well as a standalone (although I’m glad I read Brandt’s story aka a brilliant spring before this one!)! And it’s perfect for fans of steamy romance who enjoy intense chemistry.
A Blessed Fall is part of the Seasons billionaire romance series. Lexi Gardner has and her heart broken in the past and has been trying to get over it with a string of meaningless one night stands. That isn’t working the way she’s hoped and neither is throwing herself into her fitness business. Enter Liam, her exes friend and a very successful stockbroker. He’s doesn’t expect to see Lexi on a night out, but when he does the chemistry between them is irresistible. Will they be able to stave off the desire or give in to the pleasure? Would it be only one night or so much more?
I have read the rest of this series and enjoyed Elissa and Brandt’s stories and Riley and Rhys’. I wondered where this next story was going to take us and was pleasantly surprised to see it was Lexi and Liam’s story. I loved this pair together and thought the chemistry was off the charts, which pulled me into this romance so quickly. There was a bit of intrigue and mystery going on in the background which was another thing that pulled me in. The mystery wasn’t the main point, but a fun background storyline that helped the story. The romance between Lexi and Liam was hot and heavy with a good amount of spice. Overall this was an enjoyable romance read and a great conclusion to this series. This book could easily be read as a standalone, so if you’re interested and haven’t had time to read the whole series give this book a try anyway! This is perfect for steamy romance fans who are looking for a good romance read with a lot of chemistry.
Billionaire Romance / Close Friend’s Ex / Stalking / HEA
A Seasons Novel Book Four - We briefly met Lexi Gardener in the previous books. She was a distraction for Brandt but had her heart broken when his one true love returned. She’s trying to pick up the pieces but it’s hard when she lives in the same building as Brandt. She moves to a new place closer to the gym she owns. Liam West is a close friend of Brandts and signs up for Lexi’s spin class. He and Lexi have a connection that she’s struggling with, feeling they shouldn’t be together because of the pain she still feels about Brandt. As much as I loved the previous three books, this one was my favorite. This man would walk away from her after a difficult conversation but then would stop and talk himself out of it, return to her and speak his mind. I just loved that about Liam … no angsty pining, just solid clear conversations. I also enjoyed the bit of mystery lurking in the background. Thank you Kate for giving me the opportunity to be an ARC reader for your first series.
Well I made the mistake of not realising this was book 4 of a series but was still worth the read. Lexi and Liam’s characters are great and there is some pretty spicey bits. Great book for an easy read but maybe don’t let anyone read it over your shoulder if your on public transport 😳😂
I was lucky to receive this book from Voracious Readers Only to read and review. I can say this book reminded me of the old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." I have not read any of the other books in the series. However, I will be. This book can be read as a stand-alone and not feel like you're missing something from the previous books. I enjoyed the storyline that follows the romance of Lexi and Liam, with spice, mystery, and some twist thrown in along the way that kept me on my seat wanting to see what was coming next. If you enjoy a HEA, with some spicy scenes and a little mystery and humor tossed in, I recommended this book.
Warning, this is book 4 and the last book of the series, so if you're planning to read it I advise you to read the other books in the series first so you'll get a better understanding of what is going on in this book. Having said so, this book grabs you from the beginning with the chemistry between Lexi and Liam, of course there are hurdles and problems that they have to go thru to get their love ever after story but that's what makes this book so good, they make their love story worth it. I loved reading this series.
The storyline is great, Lexi and Liam story will warm up your heart. Great characters, lot of chemistry between both of them. It’s a kind of second chance in life for them. Mental turmoil, anxiety, broken heart and trying to find the out of that. That’s Lexi. Liam, everything in order up to time he met Lexi again. Or he just taught that. Definitely a lot of obstacles thrown their way. Happy ending ,definitely.

I was provided an ARC of this title for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A Blessed Fall is the fourth book in the Seasons Series by Kate Smoak and follows Lexi on her path to healing and opening her heart to the idea of moving forward and finding an ever after of her own, even if that looks nothing like she once imagined it would.
Lexi and Liam.
Firstly, I have to be honest and say that this was a little tough for me to get into at first, because I spent the previous three books thinking Lexi was insufferable. I was by no means whatsoever a fan. In retrospect, I can recognize that stems largely from my heart beating for Brandt and Elissa, and that Lexi’s story was definitely worth discovering.
This was an emotional rollercoaster ride that definitely got my hesrt rate up on more than one occasion.

This is the first book I have read by Kate Smoak, there is chemistry, romance, spice and intrigue and lets not forget the Billionaire. I have not read the other books in this series but I plan to now. It start's with Lexi and Brandt, the man she is sure is "The One". Brandt take Lexi to meet his two best friends, Rhys and Liam and she is convinced this is a sign of commitment from Brandt. Shortly after this Brandt ends the relationship and goes bac k to the woman he was seeing before Lexi. This breaks Lexi's self-confidence. She gets involved in several one night stands but they never end up helping her move on. Lexi owns and runs a successful studio called Yoga and Cycle which keeps her busy but a year and a half later she still hasn't gotten over Brandt even though they were only together for a short time.. When Liam West a wealthy stock broker walks into one of Lexi's spin classes not knowing she works there, he realizes the spark he felt the fist time he met her is still there and when she doesn't know what to say to him Liam thinks she is blowing him off and leaves in a huff. They meet again when Lexi is out with her friends at a bar and ends up taking her home when he feels like she's had too much to drink. This is where it all begins. Expect spice and intrigue as well as all the feels as Lexi and Liam work there way through there confusion on what they really feel and all the ups and downs of a relationship. I was given this book for free and I'm leaving my honest review voluntarily.
A Blessed Fall by Kate Smoak is book four in the Seasons series and I’m so happy Lexi got her story. If you like stalking, fast paced, spicy, billionaire, HEA romance then you will love this book!!
Lexi Gardner is still trying to get over Brandt by having several one night stands. It’s not working!! Liam, is her ex-boyfriend’s best friend and a successful stockbroker. Liam finds himself very attracted to Lexi, doesn’t like other men around, and can’t seem to stay away from her.
I was so excited to see Lexi get her story, I felt for her after Brandt hurt her the way he did. Although, she did know that he was in love with Elissa. Her chemistry with Liam jumped off the pages and their spice was spicing. This story had some mystery in it and I loved that. Smoak did an amazing job with this series I loved Brandt and Elissa’s story, even though there were times my heart broke for them. I loved Riley and Rhys, even though for a while I was very upset with him. My heart broke for Riley. I’m so sad that this series is over, I enjoyed getting to know all of the characters. They were so real in that everything thing they went through was stuff that we went through in our lives to some extent. I loved going through their journey’s with them. Thank you Kate for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions. You should read this series.
Lexi is still heartbroken from her little tryst with Brandt. Even though she knows he’s meant to be with Elissa, Lexi cannot seem to move on - until Liam. Lexi and Liam met once before (when she was with Brandt) and the chemistry was there. But he’s friends with her ex. Can they get past that hurdle? Will Lexi ever be able to move on?
This is the series finale I needed. I love that there’s closure for Brandt and Elissa’s story, and we get fresh new perspectives that are a step away from the previous books. The drama was a little predictable, but the chemistry of the main characters more than made up for it. The moments that did frustrate me either had some comedic relief or nice distracting spicy scenes. Overall I am happy with how the Seasons Series ended.
I will admit that I did not notice when it said book 4. That was a big oopsie on my part because I had no idea just what I was in for!
A sweet and spicy conclusion (that gave away far too much for me to NOT be interested in the beginning of the series, of which I will be reading shortly!). The title is deceiving. When I read it, I did not expect to find as much spice as I did. In fact, I had originally been looking for a "palette cleanser" of a book. Something soft and sweet to get me out of some of the darkness that I had been buried in and while there are definitely soft and sweeter sides to this book, lol it is NOT the only thing you're going to find tucked between the pages.
Be prepared for the book though! Don't do as I did. READ BOOKS 1-3 FIRST! <3
Lexi is the main female character who has had her heart broken not once but twice. The first time has her going on countless dates to get over Brandt which leads her to Liam his best friend. Liam is captivated with Lexi and knows that she is his forever woman but a series of events that happens has him breaking their relationship and hurting her again but when the truth comes out as to why he did it will he get his second chance to right the wrong. The characters in this story had me all caught up in the drama. It is well written and had me cheering Lexi on to finally getting her chance for happiness. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
Thank you Kate Smoak and Voracious Readers Only for offering this review copy to me.
I thoroughly enjoyed the chemistry between Lexi and Liam. I shook my head and laughed out loud at certain scenes. I especially loved Rhys' sense of humor and hope I'm correct in assuming one of the other books in this series is his story. I've already downloaded the 1st book in the series and can't wait to get started. (Oh my poor, poor to be read pile - there is just not enough time!)
Highly recommended and I believe this could be a stand alone as I didn't feel I was missing something from not having read the previous books in the series first.
This was such a wonderful conclusion to this series. Both Liam and Lexi were amazing and the chemistry and banter the two of them had with each other was so good. I really loved how they came together through a lot of ups and downs and trials that each of them had to face throughout the story. Would highly recommend if you enjoy emotional romances with complex characters. I would recommend reading the other books in the series since there is some character crossover. Thank you to Kate Smoak for the ARC of this story.
Reviewing after receiving a free copy. A short spicy read Lexi is trying to recover from a bad breakup and one of her ex’s friends ends up in her studio. She realizes that he brings up many unresolved feelings. Yet he sets her a blaze with feelings that she did not think possible. She should not have these feelings especially for him. Liam crosses path with her at a spin class in her studio. Dang has she always been such a beautiful lady without trying hard. Should she give him a chance? Their witty banter exchanges leaves the reader wanting them make a go of it.
Don’t let the title fool you, this book is a quick paced, spicy romance you will love!
Lexi has not had good luck when it comes to relationships. When a guy she has been eyeing for 2 years is suddenly single and is willing to give her a chance, she takes it, until his ex comes back into the picture. A quick romance turned into feeling self conscious and unsure of herself. What she doesn’t expect? Her ex’s best friend joining her class on an early morning.
This needs a bit more editing. There are continuity errors all throughout this. Not the most significant things, but enough that I noticed.
Also, the weird mentions of brand names. If this had been an episode of tv, it would have been product placement.
Liam kinda sucks. You discover there are cameras in your girlfriend’s apartment and you don’t tell her? You just break her heart, and leave the cameras operating? FOR TWO MONTHS? How on earth did Lexi forgive that?
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
She has been struggling to get over a break up and although everything else seems to be going on she feels lonely. A man will walk into her fitness studio who will turn her world upside down. It will get more complicated than either of them expect so see if it will work out for them I received an advance copy from hidden gems and I loved to see just how they got on
This is book 4 in the Seasons series and I think it rounds it out nicely. The tease at the end makes me thirsty for the next series!
Lexi is forging her own path professionally while working through her heartbreak from Brandt. One day, a guy walks into one of her spinning classes who she has an instant spark with but she knows she’s met him before, but where? How could she forget those stormy, grey eyes? She finally comes to realize that it’s one of her ex’s best friends! Liam recognizes Lexi and although he thinks he shouldn’t break “bro code”, he is swept away by her and can’t fathom why he can’t get her out of his head. They finally give in to the obvious chemistry between the two of them and man…it does not disappoint! 🥵🌶️ Lexi and Liam definitely have their hurdles to overcome as there’s apparently someone trying to tear them apart. Will they figure out who it is and why they won’t let them get their happily ever after? You’ll have to read and find out!
What an enjoyable book to read. This is the fourth book in The Seasons Series. Once I started reading this book I had a hard time putting it down. I wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen next. Well written book that grabbed my attention from the start. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lexi and Liam are in a world where his best friend is also her ex. A steamy and spicy read with dramas, forbidden romance and friends of all sorts in the final book of this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Leave it to Kate Smoak to take an unlikable character like Lexi and give her an HEA that I didn't know I was rooting for! I so enjoyed the storyline between Lexi and Liam. This book has it all: forbidden romance, best friends ex, stalker, controlling MMC and lots of spice!
I got sent this book as a e-book from the author for a honest review in return. Personally this book was not for me. Too many sex scenes which really put me off. However, the idea of this book was good and the characters were really thought out just was not my taste
Lexi and Liam were first introduced in The Seasons, a three book series that was incredible. Now they are getting a book of their own. This one though isn’t just a romance, it’s also a mystery. Because even though they seem to be finding happiness together, it might take them moving on to discover who is trying to destroy Liam’s life.
