Another Awesome Awesome Read from my favorite author. I will admit, I was nervous when I first started reading this book. The main reason was because I knew this book would be about unfamiliar characters. ) I am a die hard fan of the SIN CITY HEAT SERIES). Once I let my feelings go and began to let SK do what she do... I was hooked. I fell hard and fast for Roman. Rome is the man, let me tell you now. Lyrica got on my nerves a little bit because she reminded me of another character, but I will keep my lips sealed. I must say though, that the chemistry between Rome and Lyrica was so powerful. They were my favorite couple.
Readers you don't have to worry, SK came through and wowed us with a two part story in the same book as she always does. She delivered drama and passion on each page as always.
I must say that the second part was Gavin's time to shine.
OMG, OMG, OMG, I fell hard for him too. Yes Gavin reminds me of another "sexy quiet but deadly" alpha male that I am so fond of from the SCH Series. Gavin went into Beast Mode during that "bust down the door" scene and I L_O_V_E_D IT!!!
The cherry on top was how SK tied the ending of this book into another book and storyline that her "faithful readers" are already following...

Another hit from SK. I love how she concentrates on one story, and when you think it is over bam she transitions flawlessly into the next story and keeps you wanting more. These friends lives were intertwined seamlessly and the separation and blending of their stories was done well without leaving anything out. Looking forward to reading about Cane and how things work out with Darrell's little sister, that should be an interesting read.

Two stories in one. This wasn't one of my favorite SK novels, but the author still did a good job. There's never a lack of drama and entertaining characters in these books.
Lyrica and Rome
These two spent one hot night together after Lyrica breaks up with her cheating boyfriend. Rome wants to spend more time with her but Lyrica quickly shuts him down and disappears. They are reunited through mutual friends but both of their egos are too huge and they can barely stand to be in the same room with one another. As much as they try to hate on each other, there's undeniable physical attraction and before they know it, they're right back where they started- in bed with each other. After that, Rome lays down some ground rules, most importantly the fact that Lyrica now belongs to him. Rome was a blunt, to the point character that didn't mess around, but he had his hands full with Lyrica because she didn't take anyone's crap either. These two learned lessons in faith and loyalty and how secrets, even the smallest ones, can destroy relationships
Gavin and Tracy
Gavin and Tracy go way back. They were in a relationship, but after a short break, he got another woman pregnant, or so he thought. Faced with an unplanned pregnancy, Gavin stepped up to face his responsibilities, but he lost Tracy in the process. They reunited years later and their relationship was rock solid until Gavin's past was literally tossed into Tracey's arms. I will admit, Tracy's reaction would have been very similar to mine, but she did a lot of growing up and realized her resentment and anger was misplaced. She learned how to be a better woman, wife and mother.
I did feel that both stories had elements that were too coincidental and could have been explored a little differently to give a more believable result, but other than that, both stories were engaging and dealt with real issues that couples face and the emotional distress of the characters was delivered perfectly.

Interesting stories especially that of Gavin and Tracy. Personally< I felt that she was wrong for holding the fact that Gavin got someone pregnant against him since they had ended their relationship. It was quite interesting to see her struggles to accept the child(it showed the cracks in their relationship and that the past was not well and truly put to rest ) and it was heart warming to see Gavin stand up and get real with her calling her out on her ish. Relationships aren't gonna be glitter and sparkles all the time and his words to her were trult heartfelt. She was ready to walk away and that wasn't right. Even though Gavin should have discussed the decision he made with her. I could truly sense his hurt and she put herself in a stupid situation with his rival. as mad as she was with Gavin, and as much as they were taking a break, it wasn't right for her to do that when she knew they were working things out. Im glad she eventually stepped up to the plate and behaved like a strong woman taking care of her family.
As for Rome and Lyrica, Lyrica kinda annoyed me at first , she was way too defensive, and I felt as if she should have been just upfront with Rome about herbusiness. Rome on the other hand was a bit too unforgiving but luckily he came to his senses. Overall another good read from S.K!

This was another 5 star home run for SK!!!! I was ready for this book!!! This story had me from the very beginning. Rome and Lyrica were a great couple. Their whirlwind romance was hot as fire!! They had a chemistry that couldn't be ignored--and once they gave into it...well you'll just have to read it to find out!! Every part of their island experience had me clutching my pearls--tight!!
And then there was Tracy and Gavin...Gavin...Gavin...Gavin!!! He was a beast in disguise!!!! And I loved that!! Not only was Gavin super sexy and just....DAMN...but he was also so sweet and loving. Reading about him and Gavvy made my heart go pitty pat!!! And the passion he had for Tracy was explosive!!! Now I had two favorite scenes with him and Tracy. The first one was when Tracy got him in the bathroom!! I was yelling, 'You Go Girl!!' at my Kindle screen. I mean tha scene was...oh baby!! And then the 'kick down the door' scene...I admit I got over excited. I imagined I was on the other side of that door!!

Comprising circumstances can either make a relationship..or break it. Seems like the latter had Tracy and Gavin in a bind. One bad decision in the past seperated them, but maybe the present will show them that it's just not meant to be or is it?. One night of compromising positions puts their best friends Lyrica and Roman at odds with each other. Are second chances possible even when compromised?
Loved all of SK's books but this was my least fav of them all. Judst couldn't get into the storyline and was expecting more drama and suspense. I enjoyed the interaction between the lead characters and the timeline was accurate as always with this author.

Another good book by SK. In this book you meet Gavin and Tracy. The two have found their way back to each other after going through somethings earlier in there relationship. They go through some drama in their relationship. Will they make it to the alter?
Roman, is Gavin's friend and Lyrica is Tracy's friend. Gavin and Tracy thought it would be a good idea to hook their friends up. When Lyrica and Roman meet iat dinner with Gavin and Tracy they both hold on to a secret that causes issues for months.
I really enjoyed this book. I would recommend reading it. Its not as steamy as some of her others. This one deals with a lot of relationship issues.

This book was very engaging. It had a solid storyline with some steamy scenes mixed in. Very easy to follow since it was written like the first half was about one couple while the other half focused on the other couple's issues. But the characters were still very present throughout the entire story. Very likeable characters with flaws we can relate to. I'm definitely looking forward to see if Hurricane can slow it down and find love. Can't say too much more, don't want to give any spoilers! Good read!!

Awesome love both couple in the book, child them are hot couple SK created lol. I don't understand what Gavin saw in shania chick is an airhead didn't like her at all, she's a piece of work, so selfish couldn't believe that sweet baby Gavvy came from her smh. Cane I forgave you for your little mishap but bruh you don't want none with Darrell baby sis lol great book read in one sitting can't wait for the next Sin city book to come out definitely recommend.

As usual, S. K. doesn't disappoint. Her storytelling skills, and all that fire she brings to each and every sex scene are always on point.
I'm so ready for SCH7 that I almost didn't want to read this one. So glad I came to my senses, cause these strong, loyal, sexy Alpha men quenched my thirst quite nicely.

Once again......
Once again SK has written a beautiful love story filled with men that I pray would exist beyond tthe pages of this book. Both stories could have been stand alone books but the way she brought both stories together were pure genius. I can't wait for next installment of juicy, good, lasting, loving, page turning goodness.

An Awesome read.. SK never disappoints.. I loved both couples in this story Rome and Lyrica and Gavin and Tracy.. These alpha males whew gotta love them.. I love how SK keeps you captivated waiting, wondering what's going to happen next. I hate that I finished this book so fast, I wanted it to continue. Awesome Job Sk..

Another great book by SK! I love alpha males and Garvin and Roman were that and more! The scene were Garvin broke the door down oh my, loved it! I liked seeing a little sneak peek of Gabby and Cane as well. Good read indeed!
