What do you do when those you love are about to be executed? You raise Hell. Nariella Woodlinn has managed to escape death more times than she can count. Frequently saved by the Night Elf she loves and her protective best friend, it's her turn to return the favor. Those she holds most dear to her heart are set to be executed by the most vile creature in all of Luïnil - their uncle. Armed with determination and a not-so-confident plan, Nari must wage a war that goes against her very genetics in the hopes of stopping their impending doom.
But that seemed like the least of her problems when she is ordered to make Mycah fall out of love with her. Forced to let go of the one person she had ever fully given her heart to, she sets off on her own to mend, until unexpected visitors shock them all.
With their home threatened, Nari's heart broken, and Ohtar set on the loose - how can any of them ever hope to obtain Redemption?
***A huge thank you to Ms. Ardisone for giving me a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review*** :)
After that cliffhanger in the last book, I had been dying to read this book. But I was also dreading it because this is the last book in this wonderful series I have fallen in love with. Sweet Redemption picks up a couple days from where the story left off in Sweet Requiem. I was back in Nari's world from the minute I started reading and everything from that point on was just perfection!
I loved Nari the most in this book. She manages to become stronger, braver, and more courageous than ever in this book, while still being the self conscious, caring, and sarcastic person she is. And Mych, he continues to surprise me by just how awesome he is. I am amazed by just how much all these characters have grown! All of them, Nari, Mych, Namine, and Rydan, they were just so amazing. They were all brave, and fierce in their own ways while also being very sweet, caring, and every one of them had a vulnerable side as well, which really brought these characters to life.
This story was written so beautifully, it felt like I was right there along with all these characters. This book, as with all the other books in this series, was full of new twists and turns. It really focused on the overall main plot of trying to save the kingdom, and defeating Ohtar. The romance aspect was still there, but I loved the fact that it didn't dominate the entire story. It was a big part of the story but the main focus wasn't just on the romance. It focused on the characters, how they grew throughout, and the various plots in this book. Honestly, this book was just absolutely perfect!
I LOVED this book, and not only this book but this entire series! This is the first ever series as far as I remember, where all the books are equally as great and amazing as the book(s) before it, if not more. Every single book I have read in this series were just so over the top awesome, that I had no other choice but to give them a rating of five out of five. I think this is the first ever time where I have rated every single book in a series a five, so that should tell you just how much I love this series!
Normally, I'd be crying over the fact that this was the last book in this series, but because the ending of this book, or rather this series, was so perfect and better than how I imagined the perfect ending to be, I am nothing but absolutely happy about it and for all my favorite characters. They really deserved it. Although, I have to say that I wouldn't mind reading more about them and seeing what they are up to in the future, perhaps in a short novella or something like that *hint hint*. ;)
So basically, if you haven't already known from my long ranting above, this book was just fabulous! I loved every second reading it, and didn't want it to end. I loved this series, and am literally forcing myself to not go and re-read it immediately. This series is definitely a must read if you are into paranormal fantasy, and the first book in this series, Sweet Oblivion, is free wherever ebooks are sold, so you can start reading it right away!
A perfect and satisfying end to a captivating series!
Mycah and Nariella are still at odds with each other over their forbidden love. Though, with Ohtar on the lose their group has more important things to worry about…like saving the kingdom.
“An alarm was set off long ago, signaling that danger was present. Oh, there was danger, alright. And his name was Mycah Nightly.”
“Mycah Nightly awoke within me the person I had always wanted to be.”
I’m sad to say bye to my fictional boyfriend Mycah Knightly, but it is a wonderful end to a wonderful series. Bailey Ardisone did a wonderful job weaving in more storylines and ensuring to close out all stories lines from the series - no rock was left unturned. From the very beginning of this series, every book captured my attention and left me turning pages into the wee hours of the morning. Sweet Redemption, book 4 of the Sweet Series was no different.
I will be rereading this series over and over again in the very near future!
Sweet Redemption is the last in the Sweet series and I am utterly sad. As I have reached book four I have taken these characters in and made them a part of my life... I have loved every book and Sweet Redemption brings everything to thrilling, climactic end for Mycah, Nari, Rydan, and Namine... I was on the edge of my seat, holding my breath, waiting to see just what was going to happen... I am not going to give you anything but I can say that Bailey Ardisone gave us everything we needed to be able to say goodbye... It was extremely hard...I am still crying at knowing this was the last book... That in itself should tell you just how awesome this series is... So...if you are reading this and having gotten book 1...Sweet Oblivion...I suggest you get it and experience for yourself...
Wow. Just wow. Literally had goosebumps for the entire last 20% of this book. So many emotions, so happy with the ending of this series. (Not happy it's ended, but happy how it ended!) Highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a good fairytale. Prepare to have your heart in your throat for a good deal of it though!
*sigh* It's the end. Oh. My. Gosh. It's the end! It's the end. It. Is. The. End. *sigh*
It doesn't matter how many times I say it or read it, the sound of it still hurts. I can't believe it is actually the end. I mean I know I read it and I know that the end actually happened, but my mind is having a really hard time grasping the fact that I have to say goodbye to Mycah, Rydan, and Nari. The best elves that I have met since Legolas in Lord of the Rings.
And I'm not just saying that either. Sweet Redemption was an end to end all ends. (Sounded better in my head). It was everything. Really. The story of Sweet Redemption had my heart in a vice from the second I opened my kindle and kept tight reigns on it throughout the entire story. It was a story of truth, endurance, and everlasting love.
Every character traveled a path of resistance, one that tested them in every capacity. As a reader this hurt to read. Bailey Ardisone pushed these characters so hard that I thought my heart would break. Okay, let me restate that... she pushed them so hard my heart broke. A. LOT! I swear by the end of the book my heart was held together with scotch tape and super glue. I can only imagine what the hearts of the characters looked like by the end.
The story of Sweet Redemption is one that rivaled the story of Lord of the Rings. It kept me on the edge of my seat, tears in my eyes, and my heart in my throat. Everything about it broke me. But everything about it put me back together. The series title is Sweet and trust me when I say that this story is so sweet it's beautiful. Bailey Ardisone has an amazing ability to capture the mind and imagination. To take her readers to far away magical places. Sweet Redemption was a beautifully, enchanting story that gives elves another way to shine. Everything about it was mesmerizing, magical, and Sweet. I'm not sure the words I have written here can even begin to convey my feelings for this book, or this series. Just know that my heart soared and feelings flowed.

Wow this book was a wild ride! So much went on I was beginning to wonder if Bailey was going to be able to finish it all up, but she didn't disappoint. In fact, she finished it all up so well and I loved it all. Things came together in a wonderful way and I was surprised by some of the things that happened. Nari and Mycah, Rydan and Namine, Zaylie and Liam, all came together surprisingly well. I loved all the surprises and the twists and turns. Poor Nari gets pretty messed up before everything gets sorted out and at one point I was wondering if she would make it, but it is definitely the kind of happily ever after that I love.

I can tell you this series is amazing! I loved the books, the black eagles are what made me angry in the series. I loved it so much I wish there could have been one love making scene at least once, it would have made the story for me 10 times better and I would have given it 5 stars. I just like connecting with Characters on that level (call me weird) but all together the Author did a beautiful job putting together all the pieces at the end of the book, just like she did the other books. Great Job.
I have followed this series and fall in love with the characters from the very beginning. I love how the story unfold and how the conflicts were resolved. And most of all I love how the main characters were able to have their happily ever after. I'm happy how the story end but at the same time it makes me sad to say goodbye to all of them. This is one of my favourite series and will be rereading it all over again.
I really enjoyed this series and thought this was a great ending. I liked how the author wrapped things up with a glimpse of the future for all the characters. I'd definitely recommend this book.
