The End of the World was Only the Beginning. What would YOU do... How would YOU Survive?

VENGEANCE starts unlike any of the previous four books. We see the infection through a different set of eyes and meet two new characters.

Megan and her younger brother Sean are left to fend for themselves against the ravenous onslaught of the initial infection, no one saw coming.

With all that's happened, our once close-knit group of survivors have become divided. Those who realize the importance of the trip out into the world of Feeders and those just looking to survive.

Once the decision to go after the man capable of saving the world is made, all that's left is convincing those left behind to let them go.

Help has never been so close... or so far away!

A Pretty good flick, well worth the read! I like the new characters at the beginning of the book,Sean & Megan, two kids off to rescue their parents.

Megan's mysterious father, away from home working on a company project, calls to tell her he has sent a map with directions to take them to a group at Blackmore who will be able to help the kids reach him. He tells her to pack a few personal items, his guns and water and all non perishable food items into his truck then get out of the city as soon as possible.

Megan and Sean find out soon enough everyone else is also trying to get out of the city. After being unable to locate their mother, who is both drug addicted and homeless, the kids evade a horde of feeders but will face an even more deadly danger during the trip to Blackmore.

Once they get to Blackmore the group will have to decide where their priorities lay.

Wow what fantastic read, I finished it in 3 days, would of been 2 days but I took my time at the end, because I knew it was going to end. What an up and down emotions with how things happened when the evil guy showed up by surprise, he got what he deserved! Loved the entire book, I am starting the next one”Homecoming “”, what I love about this series is that it doesn’t repeat like other authors do which makes the reading boring. Bravo to Jeff Olah for this series!!

Amazing storytelling.

This author is an amazing storyteller. There doesn't seem to be a plot, it's not overloaded with information about the setting of other unnecessary descriptive aspects which take away from a story... It's just simply that... a story, and an amazing one at that.

I enjoyed this book less than the prior 4. The book seemed like it was in a hurry to get from one place to the next. I'm not sure if I will read the rest.

Not great but a good read

Not great but a good read

As is the case with most online books, there were a fair amount of editing and spelling errors but not as prolific as most. My main gripes are that the story seemed far too predictable, and the writer spends way too much time rehashing what has already happened when the characters need it but the readers don't. WAY too much time.

Otherwise, the ten novels in the series were a relatively easy read and it was easy to get involved. I found myself yelling at some of the characters who were making stupid decisions while my cat stared.

WHY!!!!????

After so many installments, The Dead Years can still get me riled up. I was so angry when one of my favorite characters die. I will not say anymore. You will just have to read the book to find out what happens. I do hope Jeff does not make me wait too long for the next installment. I wonder if there will be new characters.
