The next book of the series! The Dark Healer (Book #3):

A clan of healers?! Was that even a thing?

People thought we were weak and incapable of defending ourselves and our property. Those who wished to do harm swooped down on the clan like vultures.

And that was a good thing! More enemies meant more harvest, and more material for my experiments.

This is book 2 in this Series and I hope book three on Audible will be out soon. I like this world the the author has made and the various magical clans that are in it. The Narrator does a Great job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.

I received a review copy of this book.
The Dark Healer is the second book in this series, and it picks up right where the first one left off. If you've read any of the Lord Valevsky books, then you'll be right at home with this series as well. If you haven't read any of those, but you like this series, then you might want to add those to your to read shelf. Very different stories, but the main characters are in similar circumstances, and doing a bang up job of taking care of business. Can't ever complain about lots of action in the books.
Good story though, even if you're just a regular LitRPG fan, you'll probably like this series, even though it lacks many of the crunchy stats that make the LitRPG books so much fun, there's still progression albeit developed in such a way that it simply blends into the story.
Looking forward to the next one in the series.

Soooooooo. Much. Fun. Prince Maximilian Richter has his work cut out for him, after his... ah'hmm extended nap. First re-registering his clan and by doing that dealing with the clan wars. The clans that want to take out the newbies and profit from their demise. Little do they know how strong a seemingly weak Healer clan could possibly be. And there's also foci to clear and chimeras to build, just busy, busy. Oh and to build back his castle, how could I forget about that castle. Good thing he doesn’t sleep much.
So yeah grab this action-driven novel, and let the fun begin!!!

I'll leave you with a couple of quotes:

"...which had not registered until this moment: there was a happy dog’s face sticking out of the window of the speeding car. This dog’s eyes were afire with an otherworldly green and its head was the size of a horse’s!"

"It was weird to address the giant steel worm as “Hey, giant steel worm!” even when commanding him silently in my thoughts. For convenience, I named it Harry."

Him being overpowered and good at everything can somewhat be explained by his perfect memory and bring a child genius a millennium ago.

His modern throwaway phrases are still grating though. And sadly, they've increased in frequency. It makes sense for him to get used to modern times and pick up the lingo eventually, but seeing as he's the "my time was better" type, it doesn't make sense for him to abruptly exchange his refined vocabulary for modern cliches.

I just finished the ARC for this book. I enjoyed reading this one. I did find 24 mistakes while reading, but I'm only checking how smooth the translation from Russian to English. I'm not really looking for mistakes so if you find something let them know so they can get it fixed.
It's a good little story that I think you might enjoy. Give it a try.

8/10 Just because I saw all the mistakes.

meh meh!
This book is not drifting too far from the first, yet it reads more and more like a slice of life, spanning less than two weeks from the closing of the first. There's action, necromancy, lots of sass, and a rather linear story line.

While I don't enjoy slice of life reading, I do like the characters and the plot, so most probably I'll continue the series (until I don't)

Maximilian Richter is back and he is so much fun. Max is registering the Richter Clan and as he was told that he would be targeted. But Max definitely takes all this with ease. He easily takes out a Gamma focus.
This triggers other clans to go after the Richters and the lessons that are given are so much fun. I am definitely looking forward to the next few books.

Next level warfare

The way these authors have creatively expanded the role of necromancy in magic is very clever and maybe a little gross. And apparently cleansing abomination is only one of many ways to increase wealth and power

Lost 2 stars for NOT writing a Recap.

I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.

Needs review

Lots of spelling mistakes. Needs proof read by an editor or someone. The stories there just hard to read in certain places due to poor grammar and bad spelling mistakes that could have easily been fixed.

This was enjoyable enough to pick up the sequel. Ended on cliffhanger.

Still can't work out how you can make a biological organism that uses wheels for locomotion.

The torque and speed means that things are attached. Muscle fibers would twist and tear.

I love this series! Max has a plan and is sticking to it. He takes risks which work out for him and his team.
