Paranormal romance.
I liked the start of this book Travis Bowshot is the beta of his pack and he's out hunting when he hears his packs cries and screams, running as fast as he can he reaches his village to find his pack destroyed, he becomes the alpha and seeks revenge for his lost pack on the vampire who took them from him. While searching for the vampire he meets Paige a curvy human who's 'having a bad day' this was the part I wasn't so sure about at first, without giving anything away I'll just say that Travis's initial reaction to Paige isn't what I expected and Travis has obviously lived with nature more than the alphas I'm used to, well I suppose really he's an alpha in training but it takes a little while to get used to his ways and appreciate how little contact he's actually had with humans.
I didn't gel with this book as quickly as I do most shifter books but then like I said it's slightly different in that he's not spend much time with humans so he has an adjustment period.
All in all I've decided I quite like this book but I've just checked, the next the next one is 77p for 60 pages which isn't too bad but the third one is £1.79 for only 55 pages which in my opinion is far too much and I hate it when authors do this, yes I understand giving the first one free and charging for the rest but why charge so much surely 77p for 50-60 pages is enough. So this has made up my mind I won't be reading this series, if they'd all been 77p then I would have considered it but not at £1.79 it's too much for too little.
