This book is amazing! I have been an attendee of Dr Gertrude Lyon's retreats the last 4 years and also a listener of her podcast. This book is so good!! I love her cosmic codes and the way she shares her experience and wisdom with her readers. As someone who made the decision not to have children, I love how she is re-writing the Mother Code in the universe. We all mother in so many ways! Our careers, friends, family and most importantly ourselves! I feel seen from this book and the way Gertrude is re-writing the mindset of mothering. If you are a mother, want to be a mother or want to just learn how to best mother yourself and those around you, and this book is the perfect read for you! There are so many great ideas for how to show up for yourself and others in the best way possible! I recommend this book for everyone!

These are difficult times in which to be living. In a world that often tries to confine women to rigid definitions of motherhood, Dr. Lyons' work serves as a powerful reminder that we can redefine these boundaries. "Rewrite the Mother Code" is a must-read for anyone seeking inspiration, empowerment, and a deeper understanding of the complexities of being a woman and a mother. And to understand that the term "mothering" can be any creative endeavor that is brought forth--we do not have to limit our understanding of 'mothering' as the act of being a physical mother to an actual child. How freeing! The reflections at the end of each chapter can be the impetus for change and transformation--make sure you include them in your reading!

Rewrite the Mother Code isn’t just a book—it’s an initiation. Gertrude invites us to dismantle the outdated narratives of motherhood and offs an expansive redefinition.

This book is for both—mothers, non-mothers, and those redefining what mothering means. Gertrude takes us into her own history with deep storytelling and offers wisdom to create a new narrative of motherhood.

This book offers a new paradigm for "motherhood" and the mothering codes that have been left behind. The book is an imitation and invitation to mother ourselves and birth a new self.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️—a must-read for anyone walking the path of self-discovery and transformation.

Gertrude Lyons’ book, Rewrite the Mother Code is a must-read for all women — whether you're a mother, plan to become one, or not.
I wish I had read a book like this before getting married, having children, and making major career decisions. There’s so much in it that resonates deeply with me.
Gertrude empowers women to break free from historical and societal molds and to take true ownership of their lives. As women — and especially as mothers — we often assume the role of primary caretaker. We care for our children, our partners, our friends, and everyone around us… and yet, we almost always put ourselves last.
Through her vulnerability and honesty, Gertrude invites us to reflect on that pattern and start rewriting it. Her words are relatable, her message is powerful, and her insights feel like a wake-up call.

Imperative, moving, inspiring, the most compassionate reality check we’ve needed. I read this as a newly postpartum mother and found peace in seeing so much of my felt experience reflected in Dr. Gertrude’s words. This book shares an array of information, personal experiences and practical applications which kept me engaged ! I highly recommend this book to those wanting to connect with and understand more about the feminine, its true breadth and depth.
