This was engaging from the very first page of this book! Fast paced, page turning and captivating to pull you into!

I am going to be honest I didn’t even have any idea of who it could possibly be when I was reading…. It was told in such a way that made you wonder to me anyways. They didn’t give a lot of suspects and keep you wondering “Who is this guy?!” Which made it page turning, cause I couldn’t stop wanting to know more!

I would describe this with this sentence right here….. What happens when the girl you’re hooking up with gets abducted and there is a serial killer on the loose?

Highly recommend this read! Job well done Whitney & Sami!

I was told I would not be able to stop reading once I started! Boy were they right! This book had me hooked from page one! To say I was shocked who it was would be an understatement. Leah is such an inspiration to me! I can not even start to fathom what happened to her and the feelings she must have been feeling!!!

I really enjoyed this book, it is fast pace, quick, page turning non stop thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat. I am a slow reader and I read this book in one seating. This should tell you how good this book was.

This story is a great read, full of suspense that will keep you guessing until the last minute. I will say, the twist of the story, I did not see coming. I was so fully invested in the story, that I totally missed the mark and was totally surprised on who the killer was.

The story is told between three POVs; the Detective, a girl who went missing , and the unknown killer, however, it is easy to follow and understand.

I highly recommend this book.

Easy & Quick read
the authors did a great job of roping you in from the very beginning. I couldn’t put it down once I started.
You think you know who the killer is going to be but they wrote it so well that you are constantly second guessing yourself. lol! . 👏🏼
I would have liked more background on Leah and Brock’s relationship before she was taken. Imo their relationship felt kinda forced toward the end.

Definitely a book I would re-read . Great job ladies :)

This book was so good. I loved the bonus epilogue it read like a true crime novel. It’s so good. It will have you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next body to drop. I had figured out who the serial killer was but the way they brought the story together was sooo good. So many twists I didn’t see coming and almost through me off. I am excited to read more from both of these authors! I’m hooked!

Frozen in Time is co-written by Whitney Mayoral and Sami Patron, both indie author’s I highly recommend checking out. This story follows a serial killer who has taken over a quiet town, and a determined detective who will stop at nothing to catch the killer, as someone close to him has gone missing and may be the killer’s next victim. The story is told between three POVs; the Detective, the missing girl, and the unknown killer. Both author’s did a great job at co-existing these characters, while keeping the story well paced and easy to follow. I think these two author's compliment each other's writing very well, creating a cohesive and captivating thriller. I was pulled into the story right away and I was honestly surprised by who the killer was, which is a staple move for one of these authors. Frozen in Time is only 174 pages, making it a quick and easy thriller, if that’s what you’re looking for. I honestly wish the story was a little bit longer, as I really enjoyed the character’s both author’s created, but that’s probably just me being greedy. I hope these author’s decide to co-write again.

Great Book!

The book had so many twists and turns it kept me intrigued from startbto finish. In fact, I couldn't stop reading once I started. Looking forward to reading another book by Whitney Mayoral and will be checking out the other book written by Sami Patron.

I am glad they put a trigger warning in the beginning of book as it could be triggering for some readers. I also LOVED the epilogues and knowing what became of the characters.

While I usually love a good murder mystery, this one was full of cliches and graphic and unnecessary and unbelievable scenes. I know this book came with a trigger warning but good lord it was like the authors were trying too hard to be out there. The only part I kind of enjoyed was the chapters from the killer’s perspective because we don’t tend to see that kind of POV, but I also figured out who the killer was almost from the second chapter soooooo. Also the ending was ridiculous

Kudos to both of these ladies for a fabulous book! Bravo for a job well done!

This book was a real page turner for me. I would have read it in one sitting had life not gotten in the way.

This psychological thriller had me on the edge of my seat as well as on a roller coaster of emotions. It had my heart racing and in tears at the end. I can’t wait to read the next thriller!

Amazing story! It's so well written that you can’t tell it was written by two different authors. The suspense in each chapter made it hard to put down. So difficult that I actually finished it in a single sitting, not once pausing.
The plot twists were phenomenal. It was a real page turner, and I enjoyed every second of it!

A good quick read not as much of a mystery as I usually read. It was easy to figure out who the killer was based on skills.
Think Dexter and you got it.
For such a short book it was detailed but not over done which I really appreciate. I don’t need pages and pages on details that don’t add anything to the story.

I enjoyed this book. I do wish it waited a little longer to say who the killer was but before that I had no idea who it was. It was fast paced and I didn't want to put it down.

My sister bought me this book for Christmas.
I figured ‘who done it’ fairly quickly (current LEO), but it was a great read and I’m all for supporting local authors!

This book was wild! I devoured it. My only complaint is that I could guess who did it too early. But it was such a fast read for me. If you want a quick read to get you out of a book slump where you can fly through a thriller this is the book for you.

Frozen in Time had me hooked from the beginning. It was a fast paced and hard to put down Thriller. It was so descriptive that I felt like I was watching a movie. I enjoyed the 3 POVs. I felt like you were seeing the story from every side. Towards the end I started to suspect who "unknown" was. But it was so well written nothing was given away. Definitely enjoyed this book!
