The Ghost: A Short Thriller (Retired Assassins' Club Book 4), my fifth enjoyable short (60 page) read from author Sam Chase that I finished in under an hour. Reminiscent of the mystery writing of Daisy Landish. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author & in this series. Next up The Conductor: A Short Thriller (Retired Assassins' Club Book 5). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018.

Wow book four already .Maya’s past and present clash when she’s turned conservationist deep in the forest. Maya Ramirez no less faces threats from poachers . A conspiracy within is her chagrin a ghost from her past she must tasks . Her old team is gathered to confront the conspiracy and threat deep in the Amazon lies suspense and intense conspiracies. A veritable mystery . Very well written story by Daisy Landish .Good solid storytelling that’s compelling to read.

Once again the Agency is after everyone but being together to fight makes it easier. Maya and the the rest of them will fight back to let the world know who they’re up against are. Suspenseful, secrets and intrigue. Fantastic.
