This sat on my shelf for 17 years before I finally picked it up. Beautiful pictures of Old Testament lands, with short thoughts by the author retelling bible stories and how they affect his life today. Inspiring to me.
Beautiful pictures of the Old Testament lands. I loved this book and it brought the places I have visited to life again and renewed the words of the Old Testament prophets.
The Old Testament has always fascinated and intimidated me. This book took stories that are widely known and some unknown, and made them come alive and gave me beautiful images to remember them by. Next year I will be reading the Old Testament from start to finish. I think I'll need to buy this book as a reference. I loved it.
