Love when short stories pack a big punch. Not too gory or extreme but gives you the dread vibes all the way through. The author kept me hooked start to finish. My first book by Jason!
Whoa. This story was twisty AF. I’m not sure if I’ve ever said this in a review for a book, but it could easily be a really friggin good movie. This might be my favorite short story I’ve read by Nickey so far. It was an absolute psychological mindf*ck the entire time. I was super confident that I knew where this plot was going, but I was wrong… so incredibly wrong… multiple times. 🤯
Prank is part of the short story collection, They Come From Within, but was released as a standalone and is available on KU. It’s the perfect quick read for anyone looking to catch up on their yearly reading goals and just an all around phenomenal story. Highly recommend to any and everyone. 🤌🏼
A bit of twisted revenge of sorts that takes a few minutes to get to the meat and potatoes of. Its not terrible, by any means, although the bulletpointed descriptions kind of felt like a fleshed-out outline at certain points.
The story itself was fine and felt kind of like a r/nosleep post or something from Scary Stories to Tell In The Dark.
A seemingly harmless prank on a rude customer, ends in the most tragic of circumstances. A great little story of how revenge comes a knocking to the prankers. A quick little read, with shades of Final Destinatiom. The author never dissapoints
10/10 like a scene from a movie 🫣 it’s predictable but it’s really good and to the point which I likeee! Fast paced and interesting, it was a fun spooky read.
