Liah is young and in love. Tyier has placed his player ways aside to cozy up to a beautiful Liah. They’re a match made in heaven, or so they think. Being an attractive pair, and leaving behind several bitter exes, the drama seems never ending. There’s literally one set-back after another. Until Tyier ultimately finds himself stuck between a rock and hard place. Desperate to do anything to help her man out of that situation, Liah makes a questionable play. Then all hell breaks loose. In this story of love, lust, and betrayal, this is what happens when life gets in the way, and morals are left at the door. Despite love being a part of the equation, it cancels itself out when disloyalty rears its ugly head.
At this moment, it seems nicole has a . A complex and issues. It’s time to see a counselor. The books are the same with the barely legal girls having sex with these old men, being dumb and toxic. There’s no growth as a writer. Stuff is the same. I can’t support anymore!
It was okay to read. It was only interesting 75% in but it wasn't what I expected. However I will still read part two to see how it plays out. I wanted to like Mecca but I was shocked at how his relationship with Liah played out. That was a plot twist. And the ending had me shocked. It was nice to view Yaya and Will from another perspective too.
I knew Mecca was gonna find a way to let it be known to Tyier, what Liah had done. How you a whole paid boss & a whole clown at the same time. In my opinion, Liah did what she did for a good reason. Especially since Tyier & their relationship benefited from it. Tyier was more furious at Liah than his own brother, who kept robbing him blind.
See Ms. Jackson , you cannot be doing this to your readers !!! I need and part on and art two together next time because this is pure torture 😩. I wanna know what’s going to happen soooo bad. My heart was literally out of my chest. This book was really good but the ending had me shook. Tyier is on of my favorite my male characters. I don’t wanna say much to spoil the book but babyyyy it’s a good book . I just want part two like nowwwww !!!
Nicole has some classic toxic hood love stories in her catalog but these last few series have been a dud especially for a 40+ year old woman. Where is the growth and maturity in the writing? Writing about teenage girls constantly in toxic relationships with predatory men as if it’s a Cinderella story is insane. Your pen is so much better than the material you’ve been churning out.
Man, oh man them words at the end were soooooooooo hurtful, but maybe Liah needed it. I knew Mecca was up to no good, and now Liah had to find out the hard way. I feel bad for Tyier because I know he really loves Liah, and what she did really hurt his heart. I can't wait for the next read
I wish she’d go back to the way she wrote her old books, with substance. These quick, short stories are not it! I rather wait for a longer quality story. Please go back to that! Characters were developed much more and the story lines were 100%. Couldn’t get into either main character no development
I got up to chapter 2 and didn’t know that the book was gonna go in this direction. I thought we would get some back story and then pickup in the future that the previous books left off. But i just don’t really wanna read about teenagers being fresh tbh. Then i skimmed the second book and it seems to mimic the series with Yaya. Especially the whole DNA debacle
Leah and Tyrie had mad love for each other but desperate times called for desperate measures. Mecca is a low down piece of excrement. Whatever happens I pray that love will prevail.
Nicole Jackson knows how to write a book mannn!! After Unthinkable I didn’t see this one coming. Omg it drew me in and I couldn’t sleep until I finished the book. So good omg
I downloaded this book not even looking at the author but once I was done!!! I just knew it every book by Nicole Jackson has literally become my new favorite! This book was great read the whole thing in one sitting.
