Lake is a 20-year-old apprentice in the small village of Gaeburn, Monarchy Rae. The kingdom is on the fantasy Isle of Blid, where social values are medieval, and tolerance is not in the lexicon.

When a huge, gorgeous man from the village of Terrymide comes through town, Lake is enamored with the man’s confidence and astoundingly muscled physique. The “Manman” stirs in Lake feelings that should not be stirred in a man. He makes Lake want to do the “unspeakable.”

The townsfolk band together to make sure this Manman (a man who does the thing with men— and not a lady) doesn’t engage in the unspeakable while in Gaeburn, or corrupt any of the innocent villagers. But when Lake’s unspeakable desires are aroused, he makes his own plans.

Sean Reid Scott was born at a very young age (like, about nine months gestation), Before he even knew the word “gay,” he realized he was attracted to men. His attraction was specifically toward very muscular, ripped, buff, and jacked men. When he got old enough to write decent material, he started writing about his fantasy men. Needless to say, back then his English teacher was not impressed.

But Seanny persevered.

When he started fiddling around with websites, he built one to feature his appreciation for muscle men. He also started sending his stories to https://www.nifty.org, a site that holds a few of his stories.

Sean is a proudly “afflicted” with Sthenolagnia, which is defined as, "sexual arousal from the display of strength or muscles." His writing reflects this "malady." (And FYI, we're not talking about muscular women here.) Many of his books are written with the obvious bent toward very muscular (and lean) men. Some of his stories feature the muscular male more subtly (maybe?) but you can bet if you're reading a Seanny book, it'll involved a bodybuilder type dude. (Maybe Sunriver Surrender doesn't have a really huge muscle character, but it's still a great gay romance!)
