Raised From the Dead

...I caught a glimpse of myself at the bottom of that full-length mirror...what I saw made me begin to weep. There I was; Channel 7 s Frank rich, powerful, envied, respected and admired; reduced to my knees and staring at an image my mind couldn t fathom. Taking in the whole picture all at once...was horribly shocking, frightening, disgusting and as traumatizing as any previous mental, emotional or physical injury which had led to it. It was in that moment that I gave up and decided that I just wanted to die. ...I had stepped off a cliff and was falling into a deep dark pit of which it would take 22 years to hit the bottom. Raised from the Dead Raised from the Dead is the gripping and powerful account of Emmy Award-winning television news anchor Frank Turner s descent into hopeless drug addiction even as his career was skyrocketing him to fame, wealth and prominence. This riveting and heart-renching story includes Frank s personal account
Abandonment and sexual abuse as a child.
Addiction to smoking pure cocaine.
Marriage to the daughter of Louis Farrakhan.
Drug use and trafficking even at Detroit s WXYZ-TV Channel 7!
and Salvation, Deliverance, Healing and Restoration

This was a very good book. I liked how he told his story about being on drugs and whatever else and getting away from it all. He also told about his life which was interesting.
