Madison Masters is everything I want to be.

He’s confident, good-looking, and beyond popular. Wherever he appears, he’s the center of attention. It’s his natural charisma that pulls every gaze to him. Mine especially.

I have been in love with Madison since the moment I met him. The only trouble is he has no clue that I exist. Sure, he shoots me a smile when I pour him a drink, winks at me like we’re in on a joke when he flirts with guys right in front of me and does unspeakable things to me when I am all alone with nothing but imagination and free time. But he doesn’t know me.

And even if he knew me, it would never work.

I’m the father of a little troublemaker, the happiest accident of my life, and Madison is…not family material. I know his secret. I know where his popularity and money come from. I know what he does in hotel rooms when cameras are on and when the show begins.

We can never be together. We are worlds apart. We’re like two pieces of vastly different puzzles.

But when Madison Masters urgently needs a nice, anonymous boyfriend for an evening, there’s no better choice than the invisible old me. And as the night of work turns into the most magical date of my life, I soon forget we’re only pretending to dance, smile, and flirt.

If only my stupid heart wouldn’t beat so fast. If only Madison weren’t so convincing. If only we didn’t follow this fantasy all the way to his hotel room.

If only he didn’t ruin everyone else for me in a single night of unrestrained passion…

Mad For Madison is the fourth and final novel in The Boys of Hudson Burrow series. It features a single dad at 24, an elusive model who’s out to become rich at all costs, and an unforgettable fake date that turns real way too fast. Return to Neon Nights one last time with Madison and Bradley’s story and get ready for your heart to melt away. While each book follows a distinct couple and can be read on its own, reading in order is recommended for maximum enjoyment.

The conclusion to Haydens, the Boys of Hudson Burrow series, has Madison getting his hea. Bradley is a single dad who is trying to find something more than just being a parent. The two have been in each other's orbits for a while yet haven't had the courage to try something til now. The chemistry is top-notch and well done throughout. As others have noted, we wanted the conflct earlier, so we were able to see more of them as an established couple, especially as it's the last of this series. Enjoyable read overall, and I just wanted to see more of the family as a unit over the heat and conflict of them coming together.

I think this is a beautiful ending to the Hudson Burrow series. I absolutely loved Bradley and Madison's story and I was sad to say goodbye to this bunch of boys that made me feel so much.
Bradley is a bartender, single dad and has been dreaming about Madison ever since the first time he saw him in the distance. Madison is an adult film star, it's the only way he found to leave home and get a life on his own. He's good at what he does but he is very unhappy.
What started as a fake date between Bradley and Madison soon developed into so much more. They already had feelings for each other but they've kept their distance for different reasons, but even on that first date they were not faking it at all.
I loved that they realised soon what was going on between them. It was so beautiful to see Bradley accept Madison on his whole. He didn't care about his career or his past, he just wanted to be with the wonderful man that Madison was. As for Madison, he'd doubted himself for so long that it was hard for him to accept that Bradley wanted to have a relationship with him. Madison thought he didn't deserve any happiness but Bradly got through his walls and showed him he was worthy of love.
This book was a beautiful love story between two men that were in love but had some issues to deal with. It was an easy and quick read, packed with many sweet moments. There were two secondary characters that, even though they were not much in the story, made a big impact on the MCs: a charming little girl and an amazing grandmother.
I've enjoyed this series very much and I can't wait to read whatever this author brings next!

This was an enjoyable and quick read. It felt like a great conclusion to this series, although I was secretly hoping for a Lane and Oakley book.
Bradley works at Neon Nights and Madison lives with Tristan(MC in book 1) and Roman(MC in book 2). They have both had crushes on each other but never acted on it, until Madison needs a date to a gala. Bradley is a perfect candidate for it, and they end up having a great time. I loved how honest Bradley was, and even Madison tried to be as honest as possible. I really understood where Madison was coming from with his hesitancy and how he felt he wasn't good enough. Bradley had some of the same issues, but he was willing to fight harder, while Madison wanted to protect others by sacrificing his happiness. Bradley was such a rock for Madison, and he was his biggest suporter, which I loved! I also loved that Madison really tried to make Bradley see how great he really was.

I loved seeing the Neon Nights found family again and it was bittersweet to say goodbye to everyone. Bradley's daughter Lily was so cute and she felt like a great side character.

I would have liked for their conflict to happen sooner, because I felt like the resolution was too close to the end of the book. I would have liked to see more of them making the relationship work, figuring out how to make it work with a child in the mix.

All-in-all an enjoyable, mostly lighthearted, low angst read. It felt quick and easy to read and could work as a great palate cleanser.

Fourth book in The Boys of Hudson Burrow series, finally Bradley's story.
I was curious about him since the author let us know he's a single dad and in this book finally we get to know more about his life.
Bradley is a simple man: he works hard to raise his daughter with his grandmother's help, he doesn't do anything for himself, he's very devoted to Lily, but he also secretly yearns for a romantic love, for a partner who can cherish him and live a simple life with him.
Bradley (who doesn't have any kind of experience with men) is also very attracted to Madison, one of Tristan's former roommates.
Madison is a gorgeous man who lives a secret life, he's a porn star and he doesn't go to mama Viv's bar because he doesn't want to be recognised. He also keep his roommates at arm's lenght, he has been on his own his whole life and he doesn't know how to let people in.

When Madison needs a fake boyfriend to attend a gala with him, Bradley accepts to help.
The night they spend together after the party is so so romantic and beautiful: Hayden Hall really knows how to write steamy and emotional physical scenes.

Bradley and Madison's feelings for each other are deep, but insecurities are deeper, for both of them. But while Bradley take a leap of faith and trust Madison to be really interested in him, Madison's fears prevents him to accept that Bradley's love for him is real, that he is really what Bradley wants, that his job is not an obstacle.

I found all well written, especially Madison's internal monologues.
I didn't like very much Dane's involvment in the story, it felt like unnecessary drama that ended abruptly without a real conclusion.
I also would have like to know how they navigated the first period of their relationship before jumping into the epilogue.

I'm really enjoying this series and I hope we'll have Oakley and Lane's story too.
Very recommended.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and this is my honest review.

Madison is very closed off. He wanted to keep his work and private life apart, but he only succeeded by not having a private life. He’s aware there’s nothing in the future for him as real intimacy and friendship.

Sometimes he’s at Neon Nights, and always finds Bradley behind the bar. The guy with the warm smile.

Bradley is in love with Madison at first sight. A guy can fantasize, right? Madison is far out of his league, he’s beautiful, and Bradley finds himself mediocre at best. He is a single dad with a little girl and lives with his grandmother. That’s far from attractive in his eyes. But he’s happy!

He knows about Madison’s job!! Nobody knows at Neon Nights, but he does. He gets Madison isn’t a family man.

“flaws aren’t just something we’re burdened with—they’re what makes people real.”

After a conversation with Bradley and the understanding the guy knows about Madison’s job, he asks Bradley to join him to party as his fake boyfriend. Bradley agrees.

“You just have to let me love you.”

What happened after that evening changed both their lives, for the better, not instantly, there are struggles, but for sure better in the end. Read yourself how.

It was a sweet narrative, mostly mellow, with kind people, and precious friendship, there is hurt, but it was bearable, you know why? Love is healing, it makes you stronger and happier!

Mad For Madison is book four in the Boys of Hudson Burrow series. This MM romance story is about Bradley and Madison.

We actually met Bradley and Madison in the previous books in this series. Bradley is the single dad and bartender at Neon Nights. Madison is one of Tristan’s roommates and has kept his career as a porn star a secret. When Madison takes a chance and asks Bradley to be his fake boyfriend at a gala he needs to attend, Bradley agrees to it. They have an amazing time together, and although they both went into it knowing nothing more would come of it, that isn’t what ended up happening.

Bradley and Madison spend more time together, and we see how they both have insecurities. I figured since Bradley has a daughter that he would be more hesitant to get involved with Madison, but that’s wasn’t the case. Madison was the one that didn’t let people in, and unfortunately his fears were preventing them from being together. Thank goodness Bradley had his grandmother and Mama Viv to support him, helping him to see love is worth fighting for. I loved how Bradley and Madison were finally able to see they were worthy of love, especially from each other.

I received an advanced copy of this book, and this is my honest review.

Mad for Madison by Hayden Hall is book four in the Boys of Hudson Burrow series. This story focuses on Madison, aka Nico Hart, an adult film star. He has been a mysterious figure in the other books and here we learn a little more about his history. He asks Bradley, the bartender at the Neon Nights, to be his fake boyfriend at an industry event to push away an unwanted ex. Bradley has a young daughter that he is raising but he jumps at a chance to get close to Madison. Both men have been attracted to each other but were unwilling to take a chance at anything more. I did like these two together though I was not big on how Madison pushed Bradley away. It was pretty hurtful and Bradley was the one who made an overture to repair the relationship. I would have liked to have seen Madison step up. But I did really like these two in the end. They were good for each other and so sweet. I hope we get an Oakley/Lane story in the future!

Just when I thought Hayden Hall couldn't surprise me anymore, he ends this series with the best book.
I loved Madison and his surprising insecurities, Bradley's strength coming from having to grow up after being a teenage father to a lovely Lily,
The rest of the MCs of the series are still around helping and Viv... Viv is a force of nature, even with a shorter role in this latest book in this series.
Highly recommended

Mad For Madison is the fourth book and final book in The Boys of Hudson Burrow series. This book could be read as a standalone but I think it's better to read the series in order. What a way to end the series. This is the story of Madison a porn star and Bradley a single father of sweet six year old Lily. Hayden Hall does such a wonderful job with these characters. Both have issues to work through to get to their happy ending. I have really enjoyed this series and hate seeing it end but I can't wait to see what Hayden Hall writes next. I would definitely recommend this book and series.

Mad for Madison by Hayden Hall is the 4th book in his Boys of Hudson Burrow series. It is the story of two men who aren’t sure real love is in their futures but are able to find it together after some soul searching and realizing they are worthy of it. Bradley Hayes is in charge of the bar at Neon Nights, a club in Hudson Burrow run by Mama Viv, a wonderful drag queen. He likes his job but between it, his 6 year old daughter Lily, who he had when he was young, and living with his Gran who helps him out he is too busy to find someone to be with. And he is jealous of his friends from Neon Nights who have all found their special someone, even though they had to go through adversity to get there. He also notices Madison Masters whenever he walks by the bar on his way home from work and he lives with those friends in apartment across from the club. He doesn’t often go in to the bar because he is afraid that people will recognize him as porn star Nico Hart, which is just his job, not who he really is. But he is proud of what he does because it lifted him out of extreme poverty and got him to where he is today. One night after everyone leaves, he does go in the bar and talks to Bradley who tells him he figured out what he does because he had seen him on line. When he is so kind about it Madison asks Bradley to accompany him to a gala to keep another guy, Dane, who has been harassing him away and Bradley agrees. At the gala he meets Austin James who leads the Crimson Nights organization and Luca DiMarco who provides shelters and protection for abused people and where Mama Viv is going to perform. Both of these men have major clout. After Bradley saves him from Dane, Madison takes him to a room in the hotel he reserved for the night as a thank you and they end up having a hot love scene. Madison doesn’t feel that anyone would want him because of what he does but Bradley has been attracted to him from the first time he saw him and says that he is. Bradley also doesn’t think he is worthy of being with Madison because he just a normal guy and not anything exciting but Madison disagrees with that. They both want to feel a connection and Bradley asks him to accompany him and Lily to the Natural History Museum the next day which he does. They had a great time and Madison finally relaxed. Being with them was the closest he ever felt to being “normal”. He is so comfortable with Bradley that he takes him to his art studio, a place he has never taken anyone else to. Madison loves to paint because it makes him feel alive and honest. He wants Bradley but feels he’s tainted but Bradley doesn’t care because it doesn’t change how he sees him. Madison wants to be with him but is scared. He invited Austin and Luca to see his paintings and they think he is a wonderful new talent. Madison finally has dinner with Bradley, Lily, and his Gran but after he runs away thinking that what they have can’t be real. Bradley really wants to try to make it work but accuses Madison of being a coward when he won’t. Both men seek council with friends, Gran, and Mama Viv and Madison has to decide if he wants to take a chance to make it work and let them find the love they deserve together. I really enjoyed this book. There is a lot of angst for both men as they go on their journey to finding acceptance and love. Bradley has had a hard life but wants to take a chance with Madison. Madison has to learn that his job doesn’t define him and that he has other qualities that make him what he is. Their friends and family play a big part in the story, especially Madison’s roommates, Mama Viv, and Bradley’s Gran and Lily. It took a while but they both realized that they were what the other needed to find happiness and fall in love. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like hurt/comfort stories about men who have to look beyond what their outward appearances show to find who they really are inside and that they are worth taking a chance on to find love.

I stopped reading a book because it was making me cry too much. Here's hoping Hayden Hall doesn't do the same. Here's "Mad for Madison." Its the fourth and final novel in his new series: The Boys of Hudson Burrow.

["Madison Masters is everything I want to be.

Well, I did cry a little bit, but I wasn't full-blown sobbing (which I still see coming in the other book I have open). Then again, this series (and Hayden in general) is really good at that third-act-break-up cry.

These two were adorable and devoted and awe-struck. Neither thought they were good enough for the other, neither thought they deserved (or had time for) love. But they let themselves try anyway.

Like Bradley said, life isn't about what you deserve, it's about what you fight for and what makes life worth it.

And I'm still over here yearning for a Lane and Oakley book, especially after the developments that took place in here.

Mad for Madison is the fourth book in Hayden Hall's Boys of Hudson Burrow series, and it’s a heartfelt, angst-filled journey about two men discovering they are worthy of love. I've loved every book in this series and it was great to get Madison and Bradley's story.

Bradley Hayes manages the bar at Neon Nights, a vibrant club run by the fabulous drag queen Mama Viv. Between his job, raising his 6-year-old daughter Lily with the help of his Gran, and feeling envious of his friends’ relationships, Bradley hasn’t had much time—or hope—for love. But he can’t help noticing Madison Masters, the enigmatic man who passes by the bar daily.

Madison, known to the world as adult film star Nico Hart, avoids attention to keep his personal life separate from his job. Though proud of his career for lifting him out of poverty, he struggles with feeling truly seen and valued beyond his work. When Bradley recognises him and treats him with kindness rather than judgement, Madison is drawn to him.

A chance encounter leads to Bradley accompanying Madison to a gala as a buffer against a harassing suitor. Sparks fly, and their connection deepens during an intimate night together. Madison feels unworthy due to his career, while Bradley believes he’s just a “normal guy” with nothing special to offer. But their mutual attraction and emotional connection challenge these insecurities.

The pair begins to explore a tentative relationship, with sweet moments like a museum outing with Lily and Madison sharing his private art studio—a place he’s never shown anyone. Madison finds solace in painting, a way to express his true self, and Bradley’s acceptance helps him feel seen in a way he never has before.

As they grow closer, family and friends play pivotal roles. Bradley’s Gran and daughter Lily provide warmth and grounding, while Mama Viv and Madison’s roommates offer support and tough love. Madison must confront his fears of rejection and decide if he’s ready to take a chance on happiness.

This story beautifully explores themes of self-worth, acceptance, and love. Both Bradley and Madison have to overcome their personal struggles to see they are exactly what the other needs. With heartfelt moments, vibrant secondary characters, and a satisfying journey to love, Mad for Madison is a must-read for fans of hurt/comfort romances. Highly recommended for those who enjoy stories about looking beyond appearances to find true connection and belonging.

Bradley & Madison
(Mysterious Madison & Bashful Bradley)

The characters of Hudson Burrow have to be some of my favorites to read. There is always quite a bit of drama to everything, but it's all widely spread and easy to follow. Each story in this series has its own unique flavor that is so easy to digest. I devoured Mad for Madison in just a couple hours and wished that it had never ended. Since this is the finale of the series, I would have loved to see a series epilogue that brings a little bit of something from each couple into the end, but I still loved Bradley & Madison's personal epilogue.

Lily is an absolute sweetheart, and I love that Bradley's grandmother is such a kind and supportive family member for Bradley & Lily. I don't know how long Bradley has stayed with her, but it was clearly long enough to have had a very positive influence on him and his daughter.
Bradley is such a stoic character for the most part, and very has a very calming personality. He feeds off Madison's innate charm very well, and the two unlikely-matched men connect on their shared loneliness.

I really love the fact that these two MCs are essentially side/background characters that we've met in the earlier stories in the series. There a few hints of attraction/interest on Bradley's side, but I don't remember much info about Madison beyond his mysteriousness and being Tristan & Roman's roommate.

I'm sure no one is really surprised by the turn for Lane & Oakley, but it was still a funny moment to encounter.

I loved that Madison was given a positive fallback/new direction for his life when he decides changes are necessary. His confidence levels were low, but Bradley's unrelenting support helped him step into his own spotlight. I was very happy the negative character from earlier in the book didn't make another unnecessary appearance.

Mad for Madison can be read and enjoyed as a standalone romance, but you will definitely get far more out of the story if you read the first 3 books first-- even if just for general context-- because all of the MCs are worth knowing, even if they rarely appear in this story.

I received an advance copy of this book and am volunteering my honest review.

The books in this series just flow from page 1, making me feel like I’m watching a movie in my head, more than just reading words on a page. I hear the voices, see the sights — I am there, in it. Bradley and Madison’s story is no different. I was drawn in, totally invested in their story.
Madison is such a confident, successful person as Nico, but his “real person” is much more withdrawn, feeling undeserving of love, acceptance, and a life that he wants to have. Bradley sees him, accepting him in all ways, knowing what he does for a living, but seeing beyond that persona. But Bradley has the two sides, also, mirroring Madison’s in many ways, seeing himself as undesirable and “less than” physically, uninteresting and lacking confidence in many situations. When Madison asks Bradley to accompany him to a charity event, the two see and discover things in each other that they didn’t realize were there. Bradley’s inexperience is a turn-on for Madison, not the drawback that Bradley sees. Bradley sees that the image he had in his mind from Madison’s body of work is not what Madison is really seeking, Bradley sees what Madison hides and offers him that. As the two spend more time together and learn more about each other, they begin to open up and explore the possibilities of what they have begun. But self doubts are powerful things, and Bradley must draw on all the help he can to draw Madison back to where they both need and want him to be.
It is interesting to catch up on previous characters from Hudson Burrow and revisit a bit of the dynamic they share, and Lily is a delight, a definite advantage and way to bring Madison back to where he belongs.
The book took me on the ups and downs that overthinking things and negative self talk can have on a blossoming relationship, the way closing one’s self off from friends and people to bounce things off on and try to get a realistic look at a situation can really hamper a chance at happiness and finding what you didn’t know you wanted. An enjoyable and entertaining read to finish matching the boys of Hudson Burrow with their forever person.

I received a free copy. This review is submitted voluntarily.

Bradley is the bartender at Neon Nights, the gay bar in Hudson Burrow. He has admired Madison, a porn star, from afar without believing he had any hope of really drawing his attention. Bradley spends a lot of time trying to convince himself that between his job and caring for his 6-year-old daughter Lily are enough. Madison comes into the bar one evening and tells Bradley that he needs a date for a charity gala so that he won’t have to deal with a producer who is trying to get Madison to move over to his production company. Everything goes well and Madison rented a suite for Bradley to do whatever he wants as a way to thank him. Figuring that this could be his only chance to be with Madison, he admits that he just wants to be with him, Bradley proposes spending the night with Madison. They subsequently start dating and Bradley discovers that Madison is in fact also a painter. Bradley convinces Madison that he could sell his paintings while the latter admits that he’s considering getting out of porn. They go through a very rough stretch but fight their way through to a happy ending.

I found the main characters very credible. They both have flaws resulting from unhappy childhoods. Bradley has a real lack of self confidence and Madison suffers from substantial guilt about his chosen profession, leading the latter to feel that he can’t bring anyone into his world. This ends up with Madison pulling away from Bradley because he doesn’t feel like he can keep lying. This puts Bradley in a funk and a feeling that he should give up on love. Thanks to a few interventions with both protagonists, they manage to get back together. The plot is quite straightforward with few if any diversions. The secondary characters, many of whom have appeared in previous books in the series, are all very interesting in their own ways and all make substantial contributions to plot development. In my view, this book is a very fitting end to the series.

This is the fourth and final book in The Boys of Hudson Burrow series. Thankfully this is a standalone read as I have not yet read the previous books. Even with all the previous characters showing up in the book, I was able to follow along and I really enjoyed the book. This is the story of Bradley Hayes and Madison Masters. Bradley is bar manager at Neon Nights. He loves his job but the real love of his life is his six year old daughter Lily. Thankfully he has his grandmother to help him with looking after her. After watching all of his friends find their forever someone, he wishes that he could find that for himself as well. He has a major crush on Madison but knows that will never go anywhere. Bradley thinks that he is not good enough for someone like him. But it doesn't stop him from wishing. Madison is also carrying a lot of baggage with him. He works making adult films but doesn't let anyone know. He usually avoids going out to Neon Nights with his friends and roommates because he keeps his professional and personal life entirely separate. He is not ashamed of what he does but he doesn't want to see the light dim in someone's eyes when they realize what he does for a living or when they finally place where they know him from. Brooding over an upcoming gala and locked out of his apartment, Madison spends some time just talking with Bradley. When he explains about an upcoming gala and how he needs a fake date to keep a predator at bay; Bradley steps up and volunteers. Shocked, Madison is trying to explain what the gala is for and expects disgust or anger from Bradley. But Bradley shocks him by saying that he already knows his job and is still happy to go as a friend. This is their story. The book is written well and is easy to read. I really enjoyed how smoothly the dialog flowed. This is a sweet, low angst book. I look forward to more by this author.

I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Oh my word, this was so very good. This is such an emotional story that stays in your mind even a few days after finishing it.

Bradley is a sweet cookie, he lives with his grandmorther and is a single dad to Maisie, an adoringly outspoken little girl. He works really hard to give her everything she needs and hopes to one day settle down with someone he loves and who loves him just as much in return. He's had a crush Madison ever since meeting him, but thinks he's far out of his league, so he's kept his feelings a secret.

Madison.. oh Madison, how I loved him. He's working as a porn star, but is keeping this a secret for all his friends. He's also a talented painter which he also hides. He comes over as someone super confident but is anything but, he just want to find someone who loves him and accepts him the way he is. He's noticed Bradley allright but thinks someone like that will never even take a chance on him once he finds out about his secrets.

When Madison needs a fake date for an obligated party, Bradley steps in. They spend a beautiful night where feelings can't be held back anymore and they start to spend more time together. While Bradley gives his all, Madison has a harder time breaking down the walls he's build around himself.

This was such a wonderful story about two people who wanted the best for the other, but also for themselves, to find a love so deep that nothing could separate them. The support Bradley got from his grandma and Madison's friends was a thing of beauty and when Madison finally realises he doesn't need to do things on his own anymore, it nearly broke my heart.

Sadly it's the last book in this wonderful series and while I haven't read the other books, I had no problems following along. I've already put them on my TBR list.

Mad for Madison is the last book in the Boys of Hudson Burrow series. In this story, Bradley is a bartender and single father. He’s had a bit of a crush on Madison for awhile, but he is focused on his daughter and doesn’t believe he has a chance with the guy across the street. Madison feels like an outsider. He keeps everything close to his chest, especially his job as an adult film star. But, his need for a date encourages an encounter with Bradley.

This book was a bit more somber than the rest, less action and secrets, more internal struggle. Both guys have a history that leads them to be a bit closed off and scared of creating emotional connections. Mads childhood was less than stellar, and he’s never felt secure. Bradley was rejected by people who should love him once he didn’t meet their expectations. But together, they have the opportunity to show each other what love and support should feel like.

Their story, while melancholy at times, was wholesome and tugged on my heartstrings. I wasn’t really sure where the angry ex fit in, other that a way to steer the two MCs collision. But, overall, I thought it was a beautiful story, and the inner monologues of both characters were a very well written. I am not usually a huge fan of the single dad trope. But, I loved the interactions between Madison and Lily.

As always, Mama Viv and the other boys were a pleasure to see. This group of found family is a wonderful bunch. And I loved seeing the guys from the Destined to Fail series again.

I’m sad to see these boys and Neon Nights go. Hayden Hall has done a fantastic job of creating a series full of emotional encounters and feel-good moments with wonderful characters.

MAD FOR MADISON is the fourth and final book in The Boys of Hudson Burrow series. It can be read as a standalone and in any order with the other books in the series without issue.

Bradley is a single father working at Neon Nights. Being a father is one of his greatest accomplishments and he'd do anything for his daughter. But something about Madison Masters calls to him and has for sometime. He's kept Madison secret without question. When Madison comes into Neon Nights and asks Bradley to be his date for an event Bradley can't help think no one will believe they are a couple but he's not willing to let the moment pass him by.

Madison Masters is a porn star. He feels like he's living a double life. His roommates don't know what he does for a living and he's never combined his coworkers with his real life friends. When he knows he has to be at an event he absolutely does not want to go alone. When he sees Bradley through the window at Neon Nights he thinks he would be the perfect "fake" boyfriend for the evening. Facing his ex alone is not something he wants to do, Bradley will be the perfect buffer. But what was supposed to start as a fake date quickly takes on something more real than Madison has ever experienced.

I believe this is my favorite book of the series. I love everything about the relationship between Bradley and Madison. Madison thought he was so unlovable and watching Bradley be so patient and show him he was worthy of love was so sweet. I loved Nan with her great advice and Lily was just and adorable addition to this duo.

I'm holding out hope for a Lane and Oakley book!

I was given a free copy of this book to read and review by the author.

While I've been a reader of Hayden Hall's books for a while, this is my first read of this series. While it can be read as a standalone, I think I would have enjoyed it even more if I'd read the books that came before. I do love a single dad romance, so I was excited to read this one.

Bradley is a devoted single dad, but he goes overboard in his devotion to his daughter a bit, by which I mean he doesn't do anything for himself. All of his energy is poured into his work and his little girl. He's a great guy, very understanding, and accepting guy. He has a protective streak and is just so sweet and supportive. This is what makes him perfect for Madison.

Madison is an adult film star and while he lives close to a lot of people he considers his found family, he holds himself apart from them. His career and his hobby are both kept secret, though Bradley has figured out what he does for a living and Madison eventually shares his art with him.

The romance builds gradually as Madison has to come around to the idea that someone can love him for who he is. Madison doesn't really seem to love himself much and he has a lot of concern about the others finding out he's an adult film star. Bradley shows him that he can be accepted for who he is, and his commitment never wavers.

Overall, it's a fairly quick read with not a lot of action, but it's a sweet romance. My only complaint was that Bradley was clearly not comfortable with Madison's job once they got together, but he tried to hide it so as not to pressure Madison. I think this would have lead to some resentment down the road. Fortunately, Madison was quick to pick up on it (though he shouldn't have had to be the one to bring it up), and they work it out in a way that makes them both happy.

“He held me, kissing me softly, holding me, running his fingers through my hair. I had discovered the true meaning of bliss. I had discovered the sort of joy that I hadn’t believed I was ever destined to have.”

(ENG) We've come to the end of the series, and if there's one thing that characterises all the stories in it, it's how sweet they are! Hayden's ability to move us deeply with the sayings of his characters is truly something.
I just adore.
Bradley and Madison are absolutely lovable and although I found their relationship a little abrupt, I really enjoyed reading about them.
This story features the sides characters we already know, with the addition of Lily and Dorothy. All of them will play an important role in the development of the plot and will manage to touch our hearts.
A wonderful ending to the series!

“You don’t get to choose the easy path, Bradley. You just get to decide if the person waiting at the end of the hard one is worth the scars.”

Great ending to the series for the quietest of Mama Viv's boys

This time, it's Bradley's story. Mama Viv's indispensible employee, bartender extrordinaire with a welcoming smile and an innate sense of goodness. His love story with Madison, the enigma of the five flatmates who live opposite Neon Nights, is probably my favourite of the four books, though Tristan and Cedric are a tough act to follow.
We've seen Bradley in the other books but only brief glimpses, and Madison has been even more elusive. Now we learn their histories and get to see them fall in love. Bradley is a dedicated dad, determined to give his daughter all the love and security he can, to the exclusion of everything else. Madison's sky high walls keep him safe, or so he thinks, not letting anyone see the real him for fear of rejection. I loved both of them, Bradley living for his daughter and Madison barely living at all, and how safe each made the other feel although neither man realised how precious that was to the other.
The passion and love between them was natural and real. I could feel their every emotion as they tentatively navigated a path that would lead to true happiness, and a real family for Madison.
Mama Viv only made small cameos this time but shone as brightly as usual. It was great to see all her other boys, including my favourites Luke and Rafael, but we were also treated to unexpected and very welcome cameos from the Destined To Fail series.

Mad for Madison brings the Boys of Hudson Burrow series to an end. And what a book to end it! Bradley is the bartender at Neon Nights. He loves his job, his six year old daughter, Lily and his grandmother who is helping him raise his daughter. Madison is the porn star, Nico Hart. He doesn't allow his work life to mix with real life, and accomplishes this by not letting anyone close.
Bradley doesn't have time for love and Madison thinks he doesn't deserve it.
A fake date leads to a scorching night that my kindle won't soon forget. They don't even start with friends with benefits relationship. They just fall for each other. Hard. And then the self doubt trickles in.
I loved the trip to the museum. And the break up in the rain was so well done. But it's Madison's description of his work life that gets you. It's desolate and even though he describes it as 'just a job', Bradley can see how soul destroying it is. It doesn't help that Madison hides behind a mask of the uber confident sex god, Nico.
Mama Viv and her 'rescues' are great secondaries. As is grandma. But it's Lily who steals the show. This story gave me the sniffles. For sure, a heartbreaker. Definitely a full tissue box read. Hayden Hall wraps the series up very well. Although I wouldn't mind more.
I received an advanced copy from the author and this is my review.

This book was a great conclusion to the Hudson Burrows series. We finally got to see Bradley, the single dad bartender at Neon Nights get his HEA with Madison, one of the seldom seen roommates. Madison has secrets though, and it’s b/c of those that he hardly ventures into Neon Nights so as not to be recognized. Bradley is aware of what he does for work though and it doesn’t bother him. Although he has had a crush on Madison for a couple of years he thinks he’s too ordinary for a man like him. Plus, he’s a gay man with no experience and that’s something Madison has lots of. What he doesn’t know is Madison has been crushing on him too. When a gala comes up that Madison must attend they go as fake boyfriends so Madison can avoid a certain smarmy producer. But the more they learn about each other the more they fall. And the steamy times are plenty. However, Madison will never see himself as good enough for someone like Bradley. Someone who is a single dad of a precocious six year old girl living with his grandmother. What does he have to offer that won’t eventually blow up in his face when the truth about his career comes out. But, Madison doesn’t realize that all this time he has a found family of friends plus Bradley who are willing to fight to stand beside him. If only he’s willing to fight for himself. These two men earned their HEA and the epilogue is a nice conclusion to the series. I also enjoyed the author bringing in 2 couples from a previous series of his that I recognized. Looking forward to the next series to come.

The Boys of Hudson Burrow series has captivated readers with its thrilling storylines and dynamic characters, and now, with the release of Mad for Madison, we reach a heartfelt conclusion. This final installment brings us the poignant love story between Bradley, a devoted bartender, and Madison, whose past choices cast shadows on his self-worth. Their romance feels genuine and relatable, igniting emotions that resonate deeply with fans.

Madison struggles with the stigma attached to his past career as a porn star. He grapples with feelings of unworthiness and believes that love is beyond his reach. However, through the beautifully crafted narrative, readers witness his journey toward self-acceptance. On the other hand, Bradley embodies an unwavering belief in Madison’s worth, showing us that love can heal.

This emotional rollercoaster leads to moments of joy, laughter, and triumph. Readers are taken through a spectrum of feelings, as each challenge strengthens the bond between Bradley and Madison. Their navigating through misunderstandings, support, and newfound courage is a testament to love’s power. The culmination of this series leaves every reader with a sense of fulfillment and hope for the future.

I didn’t expect a story about an adult video creator and a young single dad to be so sweet, but Hayden Hall delivered that sweet romance true to his brand.

The way Madison treated Bradley and the hesitant way Madison let down his walls, it was just the sweetest heartache ever. I love love love their dates with Lucy and the whole honeymoon phase. When Madison mentioned the dad bod, I knew he’d already be in lust with Bradley and Bradley had nothing to worry about in terms of physique.

The third act break-up felt like it came out of nowhere, one minute they were having dinner with the Gran, and the next Madison just blew up from all the possibilities. I had thought maybe the blow up from the caring would have come earlier. Or even a blow up about Dane’s meddling, like Dane didn’t seem like someone who would just stop at the one article. I kept waiting for the third act breakup to be about Dane or more about that guy since that was the whole reason for the date to the gala.

I am neutral about this book, it was a good read, but they are not taking up space in my brain and I don’t have plans to re-read. However, I am interested in knowing if there will be or is a story about the roommates Lane and Oakley, so i will keep an eye out for that from the author.

Such a sweet story. Bradley feels he’s not good enough for Madison, and Madison feels he’s not good for Bradley and his daughter.
Bradley works hard to provide for and be worthy of his daughter. He works in the heart of Hudson Burrow’s queer culture, all while denying himself what he knows to be true. He knows himself, but sets aside his needs to care for Lily. He doesn’t think he’s attractive enough for Madison.
Madison knows his allure. He gets paid well for it, after all. But being manhandled isn’t what he craves. He wants to feel needed, cherished. He doesn’t feel he’d be seen as anything other than a toy to use as his partner wishes. He doesn’t feel good enough for anything else.
The two men together are the perfect pairing. They’re so good together, and for each other. Lily is a delight, and so is Dorothy. The rest of the Boys all show up for each other, as always.
The story is another day-in-the-life in Hudson Burrow. Each book is a story about a couple, but if you put them together you have one of a neighborhood in the best way. It’s a great series, and I recommend them all.

Bradley grew up fast. The life he lives isn't the one he planned, but becoming a single dad at 18 changes everything. He lives a simple life that revolves around his six-year-old daughter Lily and his beloved grandmother Dorthy. He works at Neon Nights with the incredible Mama Viv. All Bradley wishes for is someone to love that will return that love.
Madison grew up rough. To survive, he has sold his soul to the porn industry. He does what he has too to survive, but the sacrifice comes with the knowledge no one will ever accept or love him. He lives across from the Neon Nights with four other men. He keeps his head down hoping no one will ever learn his secret.
Bradley has been watching Madison for two years and has been pining for him the entire time. The time to act is at hand. Madison needs the cover of a date at an upcoming charity event is he is to avoid a wanna be producer. Bradley lets Madison know he is aware of his secret, and it makes no difference. Bradely builds Madison up while Madison's internal dialogue tears him down. With the revelation of another of Madison's secrets, an alternative path for Madison is possible.

I love this final book in the Hudson Burrow series. Bradley and Madison were always present but always outside of the main mayhem and they definitely intrigued me.

They are very different, Bradley is quite easy going, his main focus is his daughter and his gran. He knows he is gay but with a child and a bartender job, it's hard to find someone. He sees the world quite simple in the way that he doesn't play games, he is not pretending.

Madison - he is the king of pretending. Nobody knows him, nobody knows what drives him and what his real passion is.

When Bradley agrees to help being a date, these two start something they didn't expect and I love how Bradley slowly breaks down the walls Madison built. He encourages him, let him be himself.

It's intense to read Madison's story, he has to unpack a lot and especially needs to learn to believe.

There is some angst and drama towards the end, honestly, it had to be and I was expecting it. It was solved nicely and quick, as you would expect from the author.

It would have been nice to get a bit more details of Madison's background and how he ended doing what he did.
