In the dark and distant future, Armageddon has given rise to an eternal war between the humans, led by the Vatican, and the Methuselah Empire, the domain of the vampires!
Having learned my lesson from writing short little reviews for the Vampire Hunter D manga, I'm just straight up going to say that the art for this is gorgeous. My only complaint is that it's sometimes a little too heavy on the fanservice, but it's otherwise really well put-together. I love the characters and the plot – which builds itself as the volumes progress, revealing the world to us gradually and making it seem very, very real. Overall, this is one of my favourite mangas and I'm really disappointed that the English release hasn't been continued.
I really like Ion and I'm glad he's becoming more of a main character. I hope he'll be around for a while.
I'm enjoying this series. The characters are fun (despite the fact that Abel is Vash the Stampede - I know, I say it every review, but it really does bother me - and the main female lead isn't even that obnoxious, though she has her moments). I really like Ion and Tres!
I'm so sad that the writer of Trinity Blood died, this story is very interesting. I got this volum from one of my friends because she's into the very romantic stuff between the main characters. It was a pleasure to reading it^^
Getting further along in the tale and neatly concludes The Ibilis section (with another heart wrenching scene). Hugue is just great, especially the whole floating around on a raft thing.
Just when you think the battle is over, it's just beginning! New mystery's and new plots, but really I think I might be most curious about Esther's past, what is with that birth mark?
