Dean Jacobs is one of Milwaukee’s hottest eligible bachelors and in no mood to settle down, until she comes along. Evy, however, is focused on opening a new dessert lounge with her sister but Dean won’t take no for an answer. She finally gives in to the want in her gut and - much to her surprise – discovers he isn’t the player she thought he was. Just when things turn into a fairytale sent from above, Dean’s past comes back to haunt him. The only question is: will it make them stronger, or rip them apart?
I'm going to be honest I only read the first book completely and read the first pages of the second one. I just couldn't bring myself to finish this farfetched story anymore, it got ridiculous with the Mafia type angle that was add in order to force Dean into marrying Megan. I am not a fan of desperate women trying to hold on to a man that obviously doesn't want them by pulling the pregnancy card. It makes them look pathetic and drags a innocent child into a loveless resentful relationship. I wouldn't recommend these books to anyone unless they like these types of stories. I gave it two stars do to a few funny parts and because I did like a few of the characters, to bad they are stuck in this story.

I really enjoyed this book. It was very intriguing, and mysterious. Poor Dean and Evy had to endure a lot in there relationship. I was very happy things turned out in there favor. Megan and her dad Clay were some kind of crazy. Things had to be there way or no way at all. Clay go just what he deserved, so did Megan. The only one in that family that wasn't insane was her poor mom and his wife. Great book, and very interesting characters. I'm ready for the next book to read what will happen next.
I really like these book. I wanted to love them but I just feel a lot of back and forth between Evy and Dean. It drag on a little for my liking. Just when you think everything is good something bad happens and you get your hopes up just to be let down.
I also thought it was only three books but the way the last book ended, there's going to be a four one and that is so annoying. Kaitlyn, if there's going to be a four book concluding Evy and Dean, can you let us know? Cliffhangers are the worse when there is not news for a next book.
Great deal for a great price. I love being able to read one story into the next without having to wait for the next release. All stories were funny, witty, sexy, and entertaining. I love all the characters. I thought Brooke was hilarious and I loved everything that came out of her mouth. Highly recommend.
This was a good series to read. Dean & Evy face challenges and road blocks for them to be together. All about fate and how fate works out. You won't regret reading the series.
