A forbidden, age-gap romance of secrets, loyalty, and obsession from USA Today Best-Selling Author Jane Henry.
He was never supposed to touch me. I was never supposed to love him. But some lines don’t stay drawn.
I live in a world of rules and expectations, where obedience is survival and love is a liability. I was the innocent one. The youngest sister. Sheltered by my brothers and kept far away from the family’s darker affairs.
Until him.
He’s dangerous. Nameless. Obsessive.
Mine for one stolen hour a week, and every time he leaves me, he takes a piece of me with him.
But when I find out his true identity, my world implodes.
They call him the Undertaker. The man who buries problems no one else can solve.
Loving him means betraying my family. Choosing him means choosing war. But he’s already chosen...me.
Fueled by dark chocolate and even darker coffee, USA Today bestselling author Jane Henry writes what she loves to read – character-driven, unputdownable romance featuring dominant alpha males and the powerful heroines who bring them to their knees. She’s believed in the power of love and romance since Belle won over the beast, and finally decided to write love stories of her own.
i could say A LOT about this book, but i’m sticking with two comments:
1️⃣ from this day on, i HATE the word “whisper” (iykyk)
and
2️⃣ i’m damn sure i’m out of my mind because wdym all these high ratings for this book??? i’m on the wrong here???? seriously, i almost dnf but i was hoping something good was coming, but i just waisted a day reading this. i couldn’t wait for the last page and say goodbye to this awful thing
(sorry if i’m being too harsh on this but i’m really pissed with the ratings ‘cause i truly don’t understand 🗣️)
First…I’m writing this review at 4:06 AM…and I’m screaming because I was AT THE END of my review and accidentally hit the back button and lost my whole review 🥲
Ok…NOW IM SCREAMING BECAUSE ZOYA!!! ZOYAAAAAA!!!! I have been waiting for this beautiful girl to get her story since the beginning of the series!!! And while I am SO SAD that it’s all over, I cannot think of a better way to end this series than with Zoya and Seamus.
Now…I know I said the last book was my favorite…. 👀👀👀 Shhhhhhh 🤫🤫🤫 I still love the last book. But this book??? THIS BOOK??? I would give my left arm to read it for the first time again. I would die for Seamus and Zoya. Point. Blank. Period. 🖤
Zoya is out beautiful, strong , silent Russian Bratva Princess FMC. The only daughter and youngest of the Kopoloav family. She’s been the caretaker of her family. Giving and doing for everyone and always putting herself last. She’s frustrated and seeking some freedom when she decides to sneak out to the bars with her best friend Mia one Thursday night. And that decision changes her whole life.
Seamus is our broody, sexy, possessive Irish Mafia MMC. This man has more secrets than the government ok? He meets the lovely Zoya at the bar that fateful Thursday night and is immediately drawn to her. He keeps his true identity secret for obvious reasons. Oh by the way…he’s the undertaker (IYKYK). He knows who she is…and as the heir to the McCarthy clan, he knows that their families are mortal enemies. Blood being shed on both sides by the other…a long standing hatred that is not conducive to romance…but he can’t help the way this feisty little woman makes him feel.
Every week like clockwork , Thursday night rolls around and Zoya and Seamus meet at the bar. Slowly getting to know each other and falling deeper in love with each other. One night, Zoya sees a message on Seamus’ phone that makes her question everything. But before she can say something, he’s gone. Leaving her feeling heartbroken and abandoned. Wondering what happened and what she’s supposed to do with all the feelings they have for each other.
Her brothers decide it’s time for her to marry, and they arrange this with a man who is arrogant and self serving. Truly just the worst. Zoya would literally rather do ANYTHING else than marry him, but her brothers remind her that it’s to help strengthen the family…and she does as she always has. She puts her feelings aside and does what she needs to for everyone else.
When Zoya gets to the altar, she’s met with a surprise. Waiting for her is not the man she’s supposed to marry…but none other than Seamus…😱😱😱 Seamus has been in prison this whole time…and when he learned another man was getting ready to marry HIS WOMAN?? Yeah no. That was never going to fly. So he broke out…and he marries Zoya. Taking her back to Ireland with him 🥲 This is fine. Everything’s fine. Right. RIGHT?!?!? 😩😩😩
Clearly…chaos. So much chaos. Suspense. Lies and dark secrets come to light. But I’m not giving you guys ANY OF THE GOOD STUFF! You need to read this book. This SERIES!!! I promise you , it will be the best thing you do. 🖤🖤
Now Seamus?? Lord have mercy…Jane Henry has this knack for writing men who are deliciously sinful and morally black in a way that makes your panties wet. I said…what…I…said. I’m colour blind to all red flags. The redder the better. And trust me?? Seamus does not disappoint. I’d start a mob war for a night with this man too 🥵🥵🥵
This book was filled with so many twists and turns. The tension was palpable. The yearning was INDESCRIBABLE. NO ONE…NO. ONE. Deserved a happy ending more than Zoya and Seamus. Watching these two grow and develop together was everything. The way they learned each other. The way they cared and loved each other. Seamus was so protective of Zoya…this went beyond MY WIFE. She was his world…and he was hers. And there was never a doubt about it.
Their love healed bridges that no one ever thought could be mended. They fought tooth and nail for their love and they earned every bit of happiness they got. I’m so sad that I have to say goodbye to them but I’m so grateful that we got their story.
I’m excited for the new series…I’m not excited that I have to wait until 2026 for it 🤨 I’m looking at you, Jane Henry. But until then I’ll be staking your socials for crumbs.🙃🖤
Thank you so much to Jane Henry and VPR for the opportunity to ARC read this incredible book and series. 🖤

This is the first book I’ve read by this author cause im a total sucker for age gaps. Unfortunately, the writing style just wasn’t for me. I really liked the concept, but for me, it just fell flat. The MMC is part of the Irish mafia, but waxes poetic and cries for the FMC. His dialect was also super inconsistent throughout and it was hard not to keep noticing. The characters were described as one thing, but contradicted those descriptions at all times.
I really struggled to finish, but it was more a writing style than it was a storyline issue with me
All series long, Zoya has been the perfect sister - accommodating, quiet, loyal, dependable, caretaker of the Kopolov family. We have seen her brothers Rafail, Rodion, Seymon find their brides, and her sister Anya married and living in South Africa. When is Zoya's life to begin?
Looking to have a bit of excitement, she begins exploring the nightlife around her, without guards. Of course we know this spells serious problems in this world, and she unwittingly catches the eye of the Undertaker of the McCarthy clan. Her naïveté is irresistible to Seamus, and she's caught by him before she even understands who he really is, and the imminent danger she and her family is facing.
As we know from the McCarthy series - Dangerous Doms - his uncles in that storyline built the McCarthy clan on strength, brutality, and dominance - they are respected and feared for their skills. Their word is their oath, so when the Undertaker says he's coming for your sister, you best believe he is!!
I could not stop reading this one, as it was easy to follow this couple as they navigated their all encompassing chemistry and the family politics and brutality of their worlds. This has all the expected bloodshed, loyalties, betrayals, quests for power, and unexpected twists that this author so skillfully delivers, and I loved this couple. There were a couple times I held my breath, as the storyline spun where I wasn't expecting it to go, and it kept me on the edge of my seat until it resolved. (I think at one point I shouted "Nooooo! Are you kidding me right now?!") Perfect.
It is my recommendation that this series be read in order for the best experience (preferably you have already experienced the Dangerous Doms series before this, so it all makes sense). The way this ties in and wraps these two worlds up in a wonderful conclusion is masterful, and as sad as I am that these storylines have concluded, I am very excited for the next new release from this talented author.
Fortunate to have received an ARC (thank you), my thoughts are my own.
Seamus and Zoya connect straightaway, the electric current just welds them together. He is older and from the Irish Mafia, the heir. Zoya has no idea until she fits the last piece of the puzzle. Their relationship was always going to be difficult, the conflict between their families. When Seamus disappears, she believes he didn’t return her feelings, a marriage is arranged to a Russian by her oldest brother Rafail, but Zoya is only doing it to help her family, not for love. Will she regret her decisions? Just gonna leave it here 😈
This one is a strong page turner, some edge of the seat stuff, not overly spicy but the story keeps you right there in the moment. Totally loved their dynamic.
Synopsis: Zoya Kopolov is about to enter an arranged marriage to secure her family’s future, until memories of a forbidden love come rushing back. A year earlier, a chance encounter at a pub leads her to a mysterious Irishman, named Seamus, who saves her from danger and quickly becomes her secret escape. For months they meet in secret, their connection deepening despite the barriers of family loyalty. However, when Zoya discovers a chilling message on Seamus’ phone, everything she thought she knew unravels. Betrayal, lies, and prison keep them apart, until Seamus breaks out of prison after hearing of Zoya’s arranged marriage. Seamus’ determination to take her, reveals not only his true identity, but Zoya’s betrayal to her family as well. Torn between love and duty, Zoya marries him and goes to Ireland, where she faces suspicion, hostility, and the ruthless power struggles of his family. When Seamus’ enemies demand he prove his loyalty, he concocts a plan with hope of turning the tables on the traitor within his father’s ranks. The ruse set the stage for an explosive fight, and an unexpected alliance forms between the Irish and Russian families. Zoya and Seamus’ love and marriage is eventually accepted, uniting their families, and solidifying their future together.
Thoughts: This book was AMAZING! What a great conclusion to the Bratva Kings series! I already loved Zoya’s character, and was so pleased to feel the same about Seamus. He might knock off some other book boyfriends from top slots because he definitely did with me. I loved how Zoya and Seamus’ relationship started slow, and built overtime with each meeting. They were able to “date” in a way before really getting together. They obviously faced some blowbacks and growing pains, but when finally getting together their love beautifully showed their real connection and emotions. I also loved how Seamus is when he’s alone with Zoya. He’s not masking himself, and becomes the absolute sweetest with her. Zoya has him wrapped around her finger, and I enjoy when she teases and defies him a little. I think they’ll have an envious, long lasting relationship because it was built on such a strong, trusting foundation. Zoya and Seamus’ loyalty not only to each other, but their families was admirable. It was tough at times, but they kept true to their character. I additionally was excited to revisit Ballyhock and some favorite characters. I think I might have to go back and reread the Dangerous Dom series. It’s where I started reading Jane Henry, and it’s been too long since reading those awesome characters. I wonder if we’ll get more of the new McCarthy characters introduced to us in the future?!
I’m going to start by saying, when I finished this book, my verbal response was, “Wow! Now that is a true love story.” As much as I liked the last book—this is the best yet!
The Bratva Kings series is a spinoff from the Wicked Vows series. The story takes place in Zalivka, Russia, near Moscow—where the Kopolov Bratva is in control. The story escalates with the threat of the Irish Mafia trying to move in—and with shocking information that they not only want control, they want to eliminate the Kopolov Bratva family. The story will be about Zoya Koplova and Seamus McCarthy. The story will begin in Russia and move to Ireland.
“My enemy. My obsession.”
Zoya Koplova, twenty, and the youngest of the children, nurturer of the family with comfort home-cooked meals, has a naughty side too. It seems that she has witnessed enough to understand the family, has been trained with weapons, but is still sheltered by her brothers. With the help of her friend, Mia, she has started sneaking around, hiding her tracker, and going to the Wolf and Moon bar on Thursday nights. It will be where she meets an Irishman, and each Thursday they meet up like clockwork.
Seamus McCarthy is in Russia on family business. His joy is each Thursday meeting with Zoya, who calls him James—as he told her his name is. He is actually protective of her, and other men know to back off. But, Zoya, doesn’t really know who or what Seamus is—or that he has a moniker that frightens men.
The story is shrouded in mystery, suspense, and danger. Secrets not shared, but warnings issued. The one person Zoya reaches out to when she is in danger will be Seamus, who cleans up the problem. So when danger is to befall her family, she questions who has she been talking with—and what can she do to stop the bloodshed. How far will Seamus go to protect her?
“Whatever happens next. I will come for you. You’ll be safe. Hold your own, Zoya. I know you can. You were Zoya Kopolova when I met you. You’re Zoya McCarthy now. No one stands in your way, lass.”
The story is a page-turning tale of two mortal enemy families and a marriage that defines both the Russian Bratva and the Irish Mob. But will a marriage of two people in love be enough? Will trouble within the ranks tear them apart, or allow them to build a new empire? When Seamus asks Zoya to trust him, will she be able to do it? This time, when Seamus exposes the enemy within, will Keenan trust him?
Caitlyn: I don’t want to overstep, love. I just want you to know, I’m here. For whatever you need. You don’t have to do it alone. Zoya: Thank you. I mean it. I appreciate it. I just—I don’t like that our families are feuding. I don’t like the fighting. I like peace. I hate conflict. Caitlyn: Yet here you are. Russian Bratva, married into the Irish mob. Sounds like conflict might be our middle names, huh? Zoya: Apparently. Caitlyn: I find it helps if you add a splash of Jack Daniels to the tea. Calms the nerves.

Spoiler Free Review:
This is book 6 in the Bratva Kings series and can be read as a standalone. It is a mafia romance, specifically an Irish Mafia MMC who falls in love with a Russian Bratva Princess, the FMC. I would definitely say this is one of those books where you have to want the MMC to be in charge and the FMC to be quite submissive to him as that is the way of life for these Mafia men in this world.
The plot progresses throughout the book as tensions rise due to the families of the MMC and FMC being rivals and of course these two fall for each other which makes for a very forbidden romance. The MMC is very much touch her and die, dominant and possessive. Meanwhile, the FMC is quite meek and innocent up until this point, but you can tell she craves something more than the life her family wants her to live as Russian mafia princess/heir. While the FMC is quite obliging to her family to start, you see her learn to stand up for herself and take control of her own life aside from what her family has planned for her.
Thank you, Jane Henry and Valentine PR, for the gifted book.
Where do I start with how incredible this story is? How do I convey the depths of emotions I went thru while reading this? So many thoughts, so many feelings to the point I thought I would burst. Zoya has held a special place in my heart from the very first story in this series. She’s young, innocent, bold, perfect and a bit rebellious. And that last trait is what brought her to Seamus. The attraction between them is like no other. I loved how this author brought her two worlds, Russian and Irish into this mind blowing story. I’ve loved the McCarthy family and the Kopolov’s for so long that I was thrilled to see them come together. Seamus has such a deep and undying devotion to Zola and she feels the same. But if she goes with him, is that a betrayal to her family? These two have ingrained themselves so deep into my heart. Their chemistry is unlike any others and smoke came off the pages of my Kindle. These two are the epitome of the word destiny. This story is my absolute favorite of this series. I lust after Seamus and want to jump thru the pages and hug Zola. If ever there was a series to read, this is it. And this story, you will need to read it like you need air to breathe. Brilliant!
I have absolutely adored Zoya throughout this series and wanted her to get her hea so badly. I also knew that I would would be completely obsessed with the Undertaker, and I couldn't have been more right! He has intrigued me so much, and yes, even as the bad guy ( I guess I have a type 🤣). His and Zoya's story was absolute perfection. From the very beginning, I was hooked and NEEDED to see how everything would play out. Family, loyalty, love, and strength were all tested, and I was honestly unsure how these two could possibly find their hea. The suspense, angst, and action had me flying through the pages and in the edge of my seat. Then the delicious spice and love had me slowing down and devouring it piece by piec. There's not a single chapter, heck, not even a single page that I didn't enjoy to the fullest!
Zoya is the youngest sister of a mafia family. She has been sheltered her whole life. She’s at the point where she wants freedom and sneaks out with her friend to a bar.
She meets Seamus there on a weekly basis. He is actually a ruthless mafia kingpin called The Undertaker. They start to fall for each other but then he’s sentenced to prison.
She thinks that he has abandoned her and is heartbroken. Her brother’s announce that she will be entering into an arranged marriage. Seamus finds out and is determined to put a stop to it.
The chemistry between Seamus and Zoya is smokin hot! He will do anything to protect her and does the sweetest things for her. He will burn the world for “My Wife”.
I couldn’t put this book down! I have loved every book in this series but this was my favorite!
I know I say this every book in this series but I think this one may be my favorite now. These two have so much chemistry and angst that keeps you glued to your kindle just to see them finally get their happy ending. These two sweet innocent Zoya and the experienced and cold Undertaker that is only soft for his “good girl”. I loved everything about this book and can’t wait to see what this author will bring to us next. She has definitely become a fast favorite.
I’ve been WAITING for Zoya’s story ! This did NOT disappoint! I absolutely loved and adored how this love story blossomed. He loved her something fierce! Incredible Bratva / Irish mob love story with an incredible ending. Betrayal, secrets, rebellion, sassiness, love, lust, strength - and family. You get it all ! Well written. ❤️
this is what i'm talking about, the author saved the best for last because this book was the highlight of this series for me. perhaps because it reminded me of wicked doms and my favorite story of that series, but i digress. after “teasing” the baby sister of the family’s story throughout all the previous books, she did not disappoint in the slightest. zoya was everything i wanted from her and then some. and her man? yearning done right, he’s the epitome of it and i love that the reader is still surprised with the lengths of his obsession at the very end; it was such an emotional scene that hit the mark.
This is my 2nd book by this author and it will be my last. The story was good I’m just not loving her writing style. The ending was abrupt and no epilogue in the book when you’re finishing up a series is criminal.
What a great read. An Irish mafia king meets a shy Russian woman. Sparks fly. They meet in secret. Like Romeo and Juliet. Two families. Waging war. Enemies. Exciting story.
Jane Henry has become my go to for Mafia romance. Unrequited is the forbidden love story of Zoya, the Russian mafia princess and Seamus the Irish Undertaker. Wanting a little bit of freedom, Zoya starts going to a local pub once a week and spending it with James, not realizing he is the undertaker from a rival family. Her brother then decides he must marry her off. Zoya understands her duty but is heartbroken over James.....two rival families, one forbidden love. Eeek!! The chemistry and tension was off the charts in this mafia romance. The audiobook was narrated by Wen Ross & Kai Kennicot who always do a phenomenal job bringing the mafia world to life. I could not press pause on this one!
Outstanding read! When a book touches you deeply, you know you’re in for an epic journey, and Unrequited delivered precisely that. This story had it all: danger, drama, suspense, brutality, betrayal, revenge, and romance, and it took my breath away. At first, I thought this would be another Mafia-themed tale, but it was so much more. At its heart, it’s a true love story in which Zoya and Seamus risk everything to be together, defying their families and traditions. The story opens in Moscow with the powerful Kopolov Mafia Family and then moves to Ireland, where the McCarthy Mafia Family rules with an iron fist.
Seamus, the Undertaker and heir to the McCarthy Clan, was the antihero of my dreams. He wore his dominance like a cloak; he was dark, dangerous, and commanding. Brutal with his enemies but tender and protective with Zoya, Seamus embodied complexity. While he demanded obedience, I loved how he respected Zoya’s voice and choices. His unconditional love was never in doubt, especially considering the lengths he went to claim her, and the peril it brought upon them both.
Zoya, the youngest daughter of the Kopolovs, began as sheltered and naivê. However, her desire for freedom led her into danger, and only Seamus McCarthy could save her. His reappearance in her life brought chaos, but also transformation. Despite her family’s wrath, Zoya found her strength, showing remarkable resilience and unwavering faith in Seamus. Her emotional growth was inspirational and became the true highlight of the book.
Jane Henry masterfully blends depth, clarity, and intensity into her characters, making them leap off the page. Including both Mafia clans made the story feel like two gripping novels in one. The chemistry between Seamus and Zoya was sizzling, raw, and undeniable, yet also infused with gentleness and devotion. Together, they defied all odds and ultimately brought peace to their families.
Unrequited is more than a Mafia romance; it’s a sweeping love story of sacrifice, growth, and unbreakable bonds. It's a five-star read I won't soon forget.
I loved this book and would give 10 stars if I could! The Russian BRATVA meet up with the Irish mob. Some of my very favorite characters lay between these pages. A o couple with big families and lots of history between them. Tons of action, gripping and my favorite, an HEA!
My first book by author and I’m hooked! Jane Henry is deserving of the title best selling author and I can see why!

The sizzling chemistry and instantaneous attraction was undeniable. But there’s something dangerous that she didn’t want to admit to herself about the gorgeous Irish man. The one who’ll drop everything to rescue her. Her Mr Thursday. Soya prayed she wasn’t making a mistake until his identity was revealed, and all her dreams came crashing down and she had to choose between her family and a man who’s definitely the Enemy.
✨ He was never supposed to touch me. I was never supposed to love him. But some lines don’t stay drawn.✨
💭 I loved the conversations and easy moments the two of them shared. I felt like they got to know each other given the circumstances and fell in love while doing so. Unrequited has tensions between the Russian Bratva and the Irish Mafia, It is an age-gap story with elements of suspense, It features an innocent heroine who’s experiencing her first kiss her first crush to love, only to crushed upon realizing he’s the enemy of her family.
This was full of plots and a twist I didn’t see coming, Jane Henry had me hooked and thoroughly engaged with her story that was my very first book by her and I wasn’t disappointed!
But Listennn, Wren Ross and Kia Kennicot….? Utterly amazing on this audiobook as they brought out each emotion of the characters from the first beginning to the very last end, Making this a very compelling story and a very entertaining listen! It was Well worth listening to the entire book!

This is the final book in the Bratva Kings series! Little Zoya Kopolov wants is a little freedom. She’s protected by all her brothers. Being in the brava, she’s used to it. She isn’t allowed to go anywhere because of the dangers out in the world. She wants to go out so she decides to take matters into her own hands. The night she sneaks out,her life changes. She meets Seamus McCarthy and is immediately attracted to him. They talk about everything and get to know each other and feel an instant connection. They start meeting every week to get to know each other. They choose specifically every Thursday but there’s one problem. Zoya doesn’t know that Seamus is The Undertaker, an enemy of her family. What will happen when she finds out? Will she still be with him?
Seamus works for the McCarthy Clan and swears loyalty to them. He has been fighting with the Kopolovs for a few years. He is also fighting between his own clan and trying to weed out any traitors. When he meets Zoya, he is smitten the minute he sees her. He wants to know everything about her and the feeling is mutual. Every time he meets her, he gets to know her little bit more and reveals a little bit more about himself. He falls for her fast and decides that she’s his. However, if he decides to take her, it means war between the families. What will he do? Will he betray his family to be with her? Will he start a war with her family?
Jane Henry made me go through an extreme emotional roller coaster. I was angry, sad, frustrated, ecstatic, devastated, etc. I felt every single emotion they were feeling with this story. Not only did it pull at my heart strings, but It made me feel many emotions at once. I laughed, cried, giggled, and even blushed. Seeing their relationship blossom from instant chemistry to something so meaningful was so beautiful. Zoya and Seamus were perfect since the beginning and all you want is for them to have their happy ending. I was on the edge of my seat during the book. This story was filled with heartfelt moments, humor, heat, suspense, and a lot of action. There was some twists I did not see coming all the way to the end! Throughout the series, we witnessed all of Zoya’s brothers fall in love and finally it was her turn. That epilogue was something else. It had me crying at how amazing it was and I was smiling all day. What a way to end this series.
I was lucky enough to listen to the audiobook of Unrequited by Jane Henry and Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are Amazing at portraying the characters in this book.It must have been difficult to keep up with doing and Irish accent and a Russian accent.I thought both narrators did such a great job at the accents and it made such a difference to the story. I enjoyed listening to both Wen and Kai as they told this story. Zoya Kopolova is from a Mafia family and she has always been a "good" girl never causing trouble..But one night she sneaks out to go to a bar and away from the protection of her brothers, she just wants to experience a night of feeling free..But it doesn't turn out the way she wanted it to. Seamus McCarthy is also Mafia,Irish Mafia and he has a reputation that got him the name The Undertaker. He sees Zoya in a bar and rescues her from unwanted advances from a man who won't say no. From that moment they meet in secret every Thursday for 6 months and slowly but surely Zoya falls in love with him....But soon discovers he is NOT who she thought he was and that he could be her Families enemy. Zoya betrays her family for him and then Seamus disappears not showing up on their Thursday's for quite a while. In the meantime Zoya has to get married to a man she doesn't like,an arranged marriage to benefit her family..But she still is unable to get Seamus out of her heart. As soon as Seamus hears of this arranged marriage he does everything to get back to her breaking laws and rules etc.. He completely Hijacks the wedding and marry's her instead whisking her away to Ireland starting a war and Zoya is in the centre of it all. Seamus is your typical Mafia man deadly, dark, obsessive and posessive and I think Zoya was attracted to his mysterious persona....Zoya is very compliant and loyal to her family until Seamus comes into her life. Now she is in a foreign country with people who hate her family and she could be in more danger than ever.Seamus is the only one who can protect her but can she trust him.? One thing is for sure though they do LOVE one another and you can feel their devotion to eachother. This was an enjoyable story with all the complications that Mafia families have like enemies and betrayal and unaliving people. It is a great listen that kept me entertained. LOved it 5 Stars.

LOved it 5 Stars.- Cat W.
Unrequited (Bratva Kings) A Dark Mafia Age Gap Romance by Jane Henry
This is the one I’ve been waiting for Zoya Kopolov! The one who loves to make sure the family is happy. The one who makes the meals and plays with her nieces and nephews. The one who has been doted on….the one who feels so lonely…the one who wanted to fall in love and marry a man who would keep her safe. Then there was the night she saw a text on his phone, she had to rescue her brothers. They are going to find out she has been sneaking out of the house.
He sat in the shadows of the bar and watched her come in with friends. She was beautiful! Her brothers had no idea where she was! He would protect her, but she didn’t know that though. He talked to her, smiled at her, make her feel like she could be loved …. her Mr. Thursday night and she had no idea who he was. But his Irish brogue enticed her, his sweettalking, he promised he would protect her all she had to do was call him. Then there was the night he texted her. She was falling in love with a man named Seamus. And then he disappeared!
Author Jane Henry gave her loyal readers on heck of a good book that brings two people together that never should have met; but they did and they were so attracted to each other. Zoya a Bratva Princess and Seamus McCarthy (better known as The Undertaker) never should have happened. She trusted him when she knew he was an enemy of the Bratva and he fell in love. Star crossed lovers or two people who made each other whole?
There is so much tension, suspense, lying, confessions and a traitor or 2 (ok more than 2).
You will swoon, you will yell, you may throw you eReader at the wall. There is so much going on in this story and you will end up on the edge of your seat….and your jaw will drop when the traitors are outed!
As an avide reader of this author, Jane Henry has give readers a fantastic last book in the Kopolov series….and my hope is that in her next series we will be spending time with the men of the McCarthy Irish Mob!
Unrequited is getting 5 stars from me….I loved every minute of this book and I know this series will be one of my yearly rereads! Well done Madame Author Well Done!

Last book in the Bratva Kings and the one of the most anticipated book for all us fans. Since the series debut, we are aware of the character named The Undertaker. And I was so excited that finally, his book has been released. And Zoya. All the bread crumbs that Jane Henry left in each book leads to this one. And was so worth the wait!! I didn’t see coming that relationship between them. If you have read the Dangerous Doms series released in 2020, you will understand the McCarthy. And was so happy to see them again in this book. I missed them!!! I’m still amazed by Jane’s writing and her storytelling. She always find a way to steer you in a way but completely surprised you by going in an other direction you didn’t know you were until it’s too late !!! And it’s a pleasure each time I get caught in the plot and twist and turn she just put in your direction. I’m sad this series is over but it’s a new beginning for the next one!! And this next series will be EPIC!!!! You will have to wait in January 2026😩 Till then please go read all her series!!! I did and I’m so excited each time she releases a new one always better than the last one. This book deserves more than 5 ⭐️ but i will because I can’t put more!!! Congratulations Jane, you just made my life better with all your writing and books 🥹 After all these series, you are still and will be the best !!!!
