This was not worth the cost given how short of a book it is, but for being a math ed book I got through it very quickly. It helps that I agreed with a lot...though I disagreed with how other parts were presented. I feel that it could have focused a little more on the need for diverse voices, and what "diversity" actually means beyond struggling workers, but that wasn't the overall intent of this book so I understand why some areas may be lacking.
It was nice to see the authors reference new publications as well as older ones, showing the relevance of the research.
