I had the pleasure of hearing Dr. Abbie speak at the 2025 Orlando ICAC conference and was very impressed with her presentation. She and the Secret Service Agent mentioned in her book gave a phenomenal speech regarding influence and pro social engineering in law enforcement investigations. I bought each of their books as soon as I left the room. I also got the opportunity to chat with Dr. Abbie and Agent Beeler afterwards and they were very receptive and kind. I love supporting good people, especially those who positively contribute to the greater good. This book was a great explanation of the underlying psychology of influence and how to utilize it in different areas of life.
