Eli saved Adeline when she got stranded in a storm

Bear shifter Eli lives alone and is a guardian for his best clan. Adeline is a librarian in the nearby town. The attraction is evident when she entered his home. Eli is troubled by The death five years ago and was warned by the bridal clan that they were watching. When they threaten Adeline, Eli steps up and asks the clan for help.

Nothing here to find offensive or horrifying. Just nothing much at all. Hallmark vibes as a three minute interaction becomes destiny in a small town over the holiday. Eli changes every life goal for a stranger and very little world building despite the tease to compare notes to supernatural romance novels.
