I’M SOOO HAPPY that this book is so freakin romantic and so beautiful!!!!! THE HERO IS A MAFIA BOSS BUT HE IS SOOOO OBSESSED AND AMAZING TO THE HEROINE!!!!

He knew the risks but he doesn’t care about all of that, all he cares about that he wants the heroine more than anything and he will do anything to have her immediately!!! 💙
It's not every day you come across a mob boss who's just twenty seven 27 years old, especially one with a tough upbringing but still so kind and loving towards the heroine. It's such a refreshing twist these days!
FROM THE BEGINNING till the end this book is just freakin addicting to me! The plot twist in this narrative is indeed remarkable! At least for me 😝 however, it is the romance and the overall storyline that render it particularly engaging and gratifying. The satisfaction derived from the hero's affection for the heroine, coupled with a mafia backdrop that remains accessible, enhances the experience. While the story incorporates elements of mystery and unexpected developments, it ultimately provides a thrilling encounter without becoming overly complex or tedious in its portrayal of mafia romance 💙
Cause you know, sometimes there are other mafia romances with the mafia business thing. Sometimes those things get too complicated for me because the problem is not very detailed, and it makes it hard for me to understand. Cause I want the details, you know, like exact details are important to me. So I’m happy that this mafia romance right here is not too complicated, and even though there are deep things in it, it’s actually very easy to understand. Cause it has the details that I need to understand.
What I love most in this book (i love many things in this book tbh🤣) apart from the romance, is how both characters have such amazing and unique personalities along with their individual skill sets 😍😍😍 The hero knows how to manage a large business, which is why he's a millionaire and a mafia boss. The heroine also stands out in her own way with skills that really impressed me. It's refreshing because I've noticed that many other books tend to make one character overshadow the other in terms of skills or accomplishments. While I don’t mind that too much, it can get dull when one person shines while the other seems bland. What’s even better about these two is how proud they are of each other 🥺🥺 they often compliment one another, and it's just so sweet to see that dynamic 😍

Cause other book sometimes the hero will literally said that so casually that he used to be a woman like what, and what woman he likes in the past. BUT THIS HERO RIGHT HERE IN THIS BOOK THERE IS NOOOO MENTION ANY OF THAT!
Which makes me so in love with this hero because even tho he is in the mafia world, he is also not a redflag like that🤣
His personality is very interesting. He is not selfish, but he is selfish only for the heroine, and in a romantic way, though. The hero is persistent in keeping his word to the heroine and to anyone else. He likes to torture people who hurt his family, and that kind of sport keeps him pretty busy. The hero is also serious most of the time, especially with anyone else besides the heroine. And the masculinity that he has is so freakin handsome! And also i liked that he is so close with his siblings! And have a great relationship with them 🥺

She is so sweet and innocent, and she doesn’t have any experience with other men, but she is also great with the hero 😍 Despite him being the first man in her life, surprisingly, she is not childish with him. In fact, she is not childish at all. Her personality is the best!! she is calm, caring to the people she’s close with, sweet, and very smart indeed! She knows how to hack anything, she understands her way around computers, codes, systems and everything about computer science. She is a genius! 🛠️
“She understands more than she lets on. Tendrils of suspicion sneak through me, so I watch and catalog her every movement, but the HTML code or whatever jargon she’s reading may as well be in hieroglyphics to me.

I love how honest she is with the hero about everything, she is also SASSY!!!! I love her sassiness, by her sassiness i can see that it’s not childish you know. It’s just a normal sassy thing in a woman ~ Not complicated! She is sassy when she needed to be, when the circumstances are needed 👻
Also her pov is not hard to understand. Cause sometimes in a heroine’s pov it can be hard to understand because it gets too complicated with the many things in there and sometimes doesn’t make any sense too😅
So I’m glad that the heroine pov and the hero’s pov is not annoying or hard to understand😂😂😂

I love that in the beginning when they meet for the first time with the family with them, the heroine only say his name alone with him and he went all crazy with her 🤣 “Then go away! Please, Giorgio, I—”
The sound of my name on her lips shreds my control. I push my way into the bathroom and lock the door behind me.” 😝
He opens door for her, he even likes to carry her around all the time, he even let her sleep beside him in the car when they were about to go out together to have a quality time and he waits for her to wake up like patiently waits on her like that, he buys her gifts immediately, EVEN BEFORE MARRYING HER he already put everything he has money etc all in her name for her only, he clean her, he likes to put her shoes on her (and all of this he done before he even knew she’s sick so he is genuinely cares for her in the beginning). When a waitress tries to swing her hips in front of the hero, the hero never look at her and only looking at the heroine 🥹
They have a a few little quality times together as a couple which is amazing. Dinner, shopping together and lunch with her brother together!
HE GIVES HER PRINCESS TREATMENT AND HE GIVES HER AMAZING PHYSICAL TOUCH ALL THE TIME! When the heroine is crying many times, the hero never ever gets mad about it. He always hugs her 🥹 He always likes to kiss her, all the time he will always do that no matter what, he likes to touch her immediately and all the time, I LOST COUNT ON HOW MANY TIMES HE ALWAYS KISS HER 🥺🔥

Types of book that I’m looking for: SAFE, safe all the way from the beginning till the end🥵 No cheating, no unnecessary childish drama. Not too much OW DRAMA cause they are loud and annoying lol. NO to still having feelings about a ex especially wants go get back together tf no. NO to friends with benefits and still seeing other people type of sh*t. NO to hero or heroine who said i love you and have been obsessed but still likes to fvck around yeah big NO to that sh*t. NOOO to still married or still in a relationship with someone else while liking the main character, yeah they have to be single since the beginning. Not the best mafia book I’ve ever read, but entertaining enough to keep turning the pages. The H comes across as a creep, the way he acts around h in the very beginning. Cornering her and making her do intimate things with him. Bit gross, lewd and gave me the ick. He does redeem himself a bit later on, but still not my favorite hero. I did really like the h! She was strong, headstrong, independent and no meek wallflower. I love the way she loves and how she fights for what she wants. The ending was quite unsatisfactory to me. I wanted to see more comeuppance for all the parents (especially h’s mother). After setting up a great storyline, the ending felt rushed. I don’t think I’ll read the other books in the series.

This read exceeded my expectations. The characters were surprisingly layered. These two have some brief history, and so neither was excited about the arranged marriage at first, for different reasons. Once they get together, Giorgio is head over heels for her and Aurora comes to see how much Giorgio is in her corner and on her side. Bonus: the spice was spicing 🔥.

I loved this one. The protectiveness for Aurora that comes out of Georgio is drool worthy. I love how strong Aurora is. Despite everything that happens to her she continues to push through. She fights so hard at first not to react to him but they are just magnets for each other. I love seeing the guys so protective it almost seems controlling but they just want to keep their ladies safe.

Heartless Vows opens with Aurora and Giorgio, the MCs, both in total shock when their parents suddenly spring the news that the two of them will be marrying soon. Both sets of parents have chosen to contract them to each other, arranged marriages apparently being typical in their mafia world. So, I thought this story would completely center around an “enemies to lovers” theme with both Aurora and Giorgio trying hard to reject the whole plan. But right from the get-go, they were each captivated by the other, if not very trusting of one another at first. The intense connection between Giorgio and Aurora was insanely beautiful. We met Giorgio briefly in the previous book, and he impressed me as a bit of a hotheaded jerk. But in Heartless Vows he becomes the epitome of the protective mate, the Alpha husband who will go to any lengths to keep his woman safe and happy. Yeah, a bit of the controlling jerk is still there, but it appears Aurora is more than capable of smoothing out his rough edges. Aurora is just as determined and protective, especially over her young brother, and she tussles with Giorgio, continually, over doing things her way.
Giorgio’s protective streak also extends to safeguarding his two sisters. Recently though, Giorgio believes he has let his sisters down. Someone brutally attacked both women; someone Giorgio can’t pin down. Even more, he’s so deliciously possessive, obsessive and dominant. He’s a man who will stop at nothing to protect and take care of what’s his. And when he claims something as his, he means it. Giorgio is a phenomenal man and I couldn’t help but adore every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Aurora and Giorgio! Six years ago, they went through an awkward situation and now, they’re arranged to be married. Neither of them is excited about it, but both very quickly realize that their families are up to something, so they form an alliance that quickly becomes so much more. I loved Aurora and Giorgio together! Their chemistry was fantastic from the start and I loved their banters and bickerings. Oh, Giorgio… that man will burn the world for his woman. When they announce that she is to be married, she is not surprised though it upsets the carefully crafted escape plan she has been building. Even more upsetting is that her betrothed is him, the man she fainted on 6 years ago. He is equally surprised to learn of their impending marriage, and when he hears it is the skinny kid who fainted on him he is less than please. When he sees her again, all grown up now, it is instalove for him. He is obsessed with her, and can tell she is harboring secrets from him, but that only makes him want her more. She challenges him at first not believing he could really be in her corner but soon she realizes she can trust him. They have secrets and lies in their mafia family to navigate. This was better than I was expecting it to be. The mafia don who unabashedly becomes obsessed with her and goes to any length to protect her and be with her. He is a huge hulk of a man to her petite frame, but she can bring him to his knees and does. Their chemistry is off the charts, they can hardly keep their hands off of each other no matter where they are, cars, bathroom, changing room...it doesn't matter. They have the mafia family arc to navigate, but are determined to be together. I would have liked a little more detail about her cyber skills/investigations, motivations for the family drama and what their parents prenup conditions were and why, as I felt like there were some holes for me. I did really love these two characters and their story. I don't see how you could have a hotter more panty melting book boyfriend. There are no lengths he won't go for her.

Simply wonderful read, captivating story and a character that will hold you riveted
Giorgio Vivaldi is heading New York's most powerful mafia family and when he was told that he was to marry Aurora Achilles the girl that had fainted at his feet over six years before and he had never forgotten charging across the front lawn to the ambulance with her in his arms.
Aurora is planning her and her brother Tristan’s escape from her parents’ home because they are being put through hell in that house, she has seen her aunt murdered and literally raised her baby brother herself because her mother had no interest in the baby.
As Aurora and Giorgio get to know each other prior to the wedding they both begin to realise that they are falling for each other and she knows for the first time in her life she has someone that would actually take a bullet to protect hers and Tristan's life.
I guarantee that you will be totally captivated by this simply amazing story because the writing is simply fantastic and the characters are so well written you cannot help but feel their emotions and know that they are going to have a great life if they survive both their parents plans and controlling nature.

However, plans get interrupted when her parents spring an arranged marriage on her. At just 18, she is shocked when the one she is to marry is none other than the very same man she fainted in front of years before, Giorgio. As they try to navigate the choppy waters of their impending nuptials, past events lead to more questions than answers. Giorgio will stop at nothing to rescue Aurora from her tormented family history. Aurora plans to take her brother away from their parents home and make his life safe. But when she digs deeper into Giorgio’s family and her own, plots threaten to destroy them both. The second book in Vicious Mafia Kings follows Serenity's brother Georgio's brother. He only features briefly in Serenity's story so it can be read as a stand alone, although reading the first book gives a greater understanding of the overall family's circumstances.
Although they met years before, Georgio's reunion with Aurora results in instalove, obsessive passion. The intensity and lengths he goes to love and protect her is great. Also it's high chemistry and spice level. However he s not as smooth a hero as Nico was, much rather.
I loved that he had learnt from mistakes and the distrust he shows for the families.
Aurora is a computer genuis, devoted sister who suffers from chronic illness and trauma.
The drama in this book focuses on tension in the family, rather than outside threats. So it's less mafia, more romance.
There is action, but I think there could have a bit more of a build up in terms of suspense.
We do get introduced to the anti-hero of the next book in the series, the strong, gruff Fiero.
So far this is turning into a great series, I'm interested in seeing where it goes.

This is the second in the Vicious Mafia Kings series and Giorgio and Aurora are a darkly delicious read. This feels like a straightforward arranged marriage mafia romance. But I was utterly hooked by Giorgio's devotion and possession of Aurora. She is practical and sees the marriage as a way to escape the looming threat of her parents home and potentially save her brother too. Giorgio thinks of Aurora as simply a child in an interconnected mafia world. A memory from previous years and a mutual wedding. But in one meeting with the grown adult Aurora and he is head over heels. It was his love for her and his unquestioning loyalty to her that gripped me.
This book is super steamy. I loved the build up between them. Aurora is the innocent pawn in the mafia contract. Giorgio is the teasing and domineering boss. He builds her need for him and edges her until she (and us as the reader) are desperate for more.
If you love a heated mafia arranged marriage where the FMC is treated like a queen and gives as good as she gets, then I thoroughly recommend Heartless Vows.

Very fast paced, dark mafia romance. I was a little confused with the characters at first but once I was able to figure out who was who, I really enjoyed the story. Aurora may be young, but she is mature beyond her age. She's smart and fierce in her own secretive ways. Giorgio is a hard man. With parents like his, you don't really need any other enemies. But enemies he does have and once his and Aurora's marriage has been announced, there is going to be more at stake than what already was before.
Giorgio is the bad boy with a heart of gold. I really love him for the choices he made for Aurora. Not many men would ever do what he did and I love him for that (even though he is a fictional character, LOL). I really, really do not like the parents in this one. I mean I didn't care much for the elder Vivaldi from the last book, but the Achilles, even less so. I know the mafia world isn't all red roses, but really, these people don't need to be having kids. Anyway, totally recommend this book.

If you love tales of insta-passion, have I got a romance for you! And bonus points if you love mafia romance. Heartless Vows is all that in one intense package.
I say intense because the way that Aurora and Giorgio focus on one another is just short of obsession. Giorgio falls instantly into a heady focus on Aurora; she takes longer to warm up to him because her obsession has been the safety of her young brother up to that point. So she has to decide: will Giorgio become her priority instead?
Both Giorgio and Aurora come from highly dysfunctional families; some of this strained credulity when the full scope of what was going on was revealed. And there’s a moment of dramatic change that was woefully underplayed, to the point that I wondered how and even if it happened. Aurora is a whiz of a computer hacker, and I wish more had been done with that in terms of the overall plot.
But Aurora’s brother and Giorgio’s best friend are excellent secondary characters, and the sensual tension between Giorgio and Aurora goes off the charts at times. If you like your mafia romance on the obsessive side, check out Heartless Vows. It’s a driven, compulsive mafia romance.

This book is entertaining and is Giorgio and Aurora's story. The last time Giorgio and Aurora had seen each other was six years ago. Aurora was so much younger and just happened to faint at Giorgio's feet. Now Aurora Achilles is an intelligent eighteen year old and is to marry Giorgio Vivaldi. All Aurora wants is to get her young brother and herself away from the parents way of life to be safe. The story is action-packed, with betrayal, drama, suspense, violence and danger. The characters are wonderful together.

I have read Mafia romance books before, but this book wow! I was guessing the entire book who was behind the evil deeds. The author did a great job giving details about the characters and their feelings. All of the twists and turns in this book just made it so amazing. The characters Giorgio and Aurora were people from two different mafia families that did not like one another. But being put into an arranged marriage opened each others eyes to each other. Aurora was a strong female who was smart and protected the ones she cared about. Giorgio was a tough and powerful man that would do anything to protect his loved ones. How he realized that Aurora was so important was so sweet. How they both took a leap of faith to prove to the other they can trust them.
The romance scenes were hot. The fighting scenes were written well and not too graphic.
I recommend this book to all mafia romance readers.

This series rocks! Book 2 of the Vicious Mafia Kings series is every bit as good as the first book. Aurora and Tristan are stuck living a nightmare trapped by their vicious parents. Being the heir to a mafia family comes with lots of strings, for both Aurora and Giorgio. For Aurora she must keep her little brother out of her vindictive mother’s clutches. Giorgio relives the past that his sister and friend have been through. His guilt for not protecting them, lives in his mind and heart. Both are bound to be together by fate and contract. Someone behind the scene is trying to kill them. They want the power and the bride no matter what. The heat between Giorgio and Aurora grows with each touch. This is a high heat fast moving awesome book. I’m hoping there’s another one coming!
